Jack POV

I was visiting Jamie when I realized how hot it was.

Skyler Summer.

She irritates me. I've never seen her but other Spirits talk about how pretty she is.

Jamie looks at me and asks if I was okay.

I turn to him," It's just that I think it's too hot. Summer did this on purpose."

He looks at me confused,"Summer is a person?"

I nod grimly, "Yeah. She annoys the heck out of me. Making days hot, melting my snow. Her name is actually Skyler Summer but I call her what I want."

Jamie looks like he is trying not to laugh.

I playfully glare at him.

"What's funny?"

"Have you even met her?"

I look away, "No.."

Jamie laughed," You can't judge her then."

I roll my eyes. He doesn't understand. He is only 13.

Then I see the Northern lights.

I turn to Jamie knowing I have to go meet up with the other Guardians.

"I gotta go Jamie. I'll see you later."

He nods, "Okay. Bye Jack!"

I turn my head upwards," wind! Take me to the North Pole!"

I get there and I realize I was the last one there.

Oops.Oh well.

North turns to me, "what took so long Jack?"

"I was with Jamie."

They all nod. Then North says, "Man on Moon has something to tell us"

That gets my attention. I lean against my staff and we all look up.

"We can't see the moon..." Tooth says.

I realize that she is right.

Instead of the moon, we see the sun.

Then a woman's voice is heard in the room.

"Guardians. I am the Lady on the Sun, you may call me Sunny. I am Manny's sister.
I also can  choose Guardians, and I have chosen a new one,"

"A new guardian? We just got a new one!" Bunny says

"I hope it's a girl." Tooth puts in.

"You need a new guardian because Pitch is back. And is allies with Red, the Spirit of Anger."

Before she can continue, everyone cries out," He's back? We just defeated him! Red?"

I'm very confused and upset.

"I know you are upset, we are too, but you need to fight him again. This time he is stronger because he isn't alone. Red isn't an easy enemy. She is also very upset with your new guardian. Manny and I agree that it's time for a new member. You won't have a hard time finding her. And Jack,"

I perk up.

"Try to get along with her."

With that, Sunny leaves us and the podium glows.

"It's a girl! I'm so happy!" Tooth exclaims and does a little dance in the air.

"What did she mean 'get along' Jack?" Bunny asks.

"I don't know." I confess

"Well if you two don't get along, I think she and I might." Bunny days happily and I just glare at him.

North and Sandy are quiet and we all turn to the podium.

It slowly takes shape of a girl around my age (physically. So about 18).

It gets descriptive and shows her clothes and her staff.

No.

It can't be.

Please no.

But it was.

"Skyler Summer? Are you serious? It will be like having another Jack around! She is as irresponsible as he is!" Bunny complains.

I turn to him and scowl, "We are not the same. Do not say we are."

The everyone looks at me surprised.

"What do you mean? Why do to look upset?" North asks.

I frown again, "She is my enemy! My opposite! I am ice. She is fire. I am cold. She is warm. We fight over control over spring and fall! I can't work with her!" I rant

Their mouths drop.

Then North says," Well you have to now. You two have to work together."

I glare at them, " You don't understand"

And I fly out.

Why her?
