The name of the chapter is Endings, but no the book isn't actually ending so don't worry. Also sorry for the early morning updates. I update before I open at work.

After unfortunately losing Cole to the Oni, the ninja return to the Monastery to form a plan with Wu while Aria runs to check on Firstborne.

"How are you feeling grandmother?" Aria asks

"I'm perfectly fine child.." Firstborne replies as she stood up, turning to face Aria "Did you see your mother?"

"No," Aria replies "I saw the Omega though.. my other grandmother."

"You told her didn't you?" Firstborne states "That look of dissapointment on your face tells me everything. Do not take her words to heart. The Oni despise your parents after what they did. Do not let that evil women tell you who you are."

"I'm not," Aria shakes her head "but I can't help but feel that they are the ones who are wrong. My parents may not have truly loved each other.. but I was born into this world as I am for a reason."

"And do you believe you know that reason?" Firstborne asks

"I do," Aria replies

Aria meets with the Ninja as Kai finishes the golden weapons. After distributing them, the monks warn of the Oni's arrival at the monastery. The Ninja, Reika, Wu, Faith, and Lord Garmadon unite to hold off The Omega's Oni legions.

"No matter what happens Ninja," Lloyd says "We fight to protect this realm and each other."

The ninja nod in agreement as they head down the steps to face the Oni. The Omega and Aria glare at each other.

With that, a battle begins outside the monastery, with the Oni steadily overwhelming the Ninja and their allies until Cole returns in the Earth Driller. Overjoyed by his return, the Ninja gain a second wind and continue the battle.

To fight The Omega, Garmadon embraces his full Oni side and takes him on, though he's still overpowered

"You are Oni" the Omega whacks Garmadon away "But only in form. In your heart, I sense uncertainty and doubt" she strikes the staff at him, flying him back up the steps. "Part of you longs to understand these pitiful beings" Garmadon is down. The Oni walks up to Garmadon "To be one of them. Your hopes weaken you" she whacks Garmadon again. Garmadon loses his Oni form, and lies on the steps, weakened.

"Father!" Lloyd runs up to Garmadon. The Omega throws her power at him. It hits him against the monastery doors. A dark blast is thrown at the Omega, and she yells in pain. Aria jumped down in front of Garmadon.

"Aria," Lloyd looks at her

"Leave this one to me," Aria says "We have unfinished business."

"Aria.." Garmadon calls hesitantly "only an Oni can defeat an Oni.."

"I know.." Aria replies

Lloyd helps Garmadon up as the Oni push the ninja back towards the monastery.

"Fall back! Everyone, fall back now!" Lloyd shouts

The Ninja, Faith, and Master Wu run back to the monastery.

Nya kicks an Oni before leaving "Copy that!"

"Aria," Lloyd looks at her

"Go" Aria commands, not taking her eyes off the Omega.

"I can't leave you here" Lloyd says worriedly

"I promised you we'll never be apart," Aria tells him "and I intend to keep that promise."

Lloyd nods hesitantly and drags Garmadon into the monastery. The Oni chase after the Ninja who close the doors behind them. Aria and the Omega stand in place as the Oni rush around them.

"You're a fool," The Omega tells her "no better then your mother."

"Well," Aria says "I see she got her parenting skills from you."

"I won't take back what I said," The Omega hits her staff on the ground angrily "you do not belong in the realm anymore then the first Spinjitzu Master did."

"You don't seem to understand," Aria says as her eyes glow purple "the best thing about being an Oni and a Dragon.."

Clouds form around Aria as she embraces her Oni side as Garmadon did and transforms.

"Is that I can be both," Aria smiles "I don't have to choose a side."

"You're foolish," the Omega says "Even as an Oni, you're nothing like one!"

"That's just it," Aria shakes her head "I'm not just an Oni.. I'm me."

The Omega growls before lunging at Aria. Aria effortlessly grabs ahold of the Omega's staff. The Omega shouts as she tries to pull her staff from Aria's grip.

"Even if you destroy me you'd have lost everything!" The Omega shouts "You're fellow protectors have fallen!"

"I doubt that," Aria says with a smile "one thing you should know about us ninja, we never know when to give up."

"You're as worthless as your mother," the Omega tells her spitefully

"Such a pity," Aria says as the Omega's weapon began to overload with Aria's power and began to shake "..obliteration."

Aria released the staff as it exploded, sending the Omega and Aria into black. At the same time, the ninja's Spinjitzu tornadoes merge into one, forming the largest Tornado of Creation. It creates a light and explodes.

Lloyd wakes up and gasps, he finds himself in spacious grasslands.

"Lloyd"

He looks over to see Aria, he helps her up "Are you ok?"

"Yeah" she replies "where are we? Are we dead?!"

They hear a roar, they look over to see the First Spinjitzu Master's dragon.

"Hello, Lloyd and Aria" they turn to see who is calling them, it was an old man that resembled the first spinjitzu master "Do you like my dragon?"

"You" Lloyd kneels "You're the First Spinjitzu Master" Aria kneels as well

"No, no, please—no kneeling" the First Spinjitzu Master holds his hands out and pulls the two up "You both have done so much for Ninjago. If anyone should kneel, it should be I."

"What is this place? What happened?" Lloyd asks

"You two have faced destruction with dignity and courage, and you responded with creation and love" the First Spinjitzu Master pets his dragon "There is no greater response"

"But.. why are we here?" Aria questions

"I brought you here to say thank you for all you have done" the First Spinjitzu Master replies "Life is balance, you two are balace. Endings are never really endings, only new beginnings. And you have given us all a new beginning. The future is what we make of it, and you refused to let our future end in darkness" Petals surround them "Well done, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon and Aria Celestial Lord. Well done."

The First Spinjitzu Master takes of his hat, kneels, and bows to Lloyd and Aria.

"Thanks, but—well, I don't really understand any of this" Lloyd says

"Neither do I" Aria agrees

The First Spinjitzu Master smiles "You might not understand now but you will soon.. if you choose to come with me" the First Spinjitzu Master climbs onto his dragon.

"Come with you.. where?" Lloyd and Aria ask

"That is a secret. But you will be happy there. Or you can return to your friends and take up your duties as ninja again" the First Spinjitzu Master

"And if I go home, will I remember this?" Lloyd asks as he picks up a petal and lets the wind carry it.

"You will think it was a dream. In time, you will forget all about it" the First Spinjitzu Master holds out his hand

Aria and Lloyd look at each other.

"Well," Lloyd says "we promised to never leave each other's side.."

"Yeah," Aria replies grabbing Lloyd's hand "What do you wanna do?"

The darkness clears up in Ninjago City and The First Realm. The citizens of Ninjago wake up from their trance and move around. The Golden Weapons' lights die out, de-powering them. The Ninja groans.

"Ow" Nya runs up to Jay and hugs him "We're alive" Jay laughs "We're alive!"

Cole picks himself up, grunting he looks and sees Kai under a piece of the door "Kai!" He throws it off of him and helps him up.

"Where's Lloyd and Aria?" Kai asks

They see Lloyd lying on the ground, with several parts of the doors on him.

They throw the door off Lloyd and carry him out.

"Lloyd!" they shout

"Lloyd wake up" Kai shakes them

"He's- He's not moving!" Nya shouts

Wu runs over and lifts Lloyd's arms.

"You can do something, right?" Jay asks "Right?!"

"There is nothing to be done" Wu replies sadly

Nya sobs. Everyone stares at Lloyd, saddened. Kai puts his hand on Wu's shoulder. Garmadon stares at Lloyd and starts to back away. Lloyd then starts to breathe, and cough. Everyone cheers and hugs each other.

Lloyd sat up "Where am I? Where's Aria?"

"Don't you remember?" Nya questions

"Yeah. You had us worried there for a sec." Kai says

Lloyd looked around "But... the First Spinjitzu Master.. he was..."

"You must have hit your head pretty hard," Cole says helping him stand

Aria stumbles through the gates holding an injured arm. Lloyd smiles at her as Kai and Reika run to help her.

"What happened to the leader?" Kai asks her

"Gone," Aria replies

Lloyd attempts to go to Aria but almost falls over, Cole quickly catches him and leans him against his shoulder.

"Easy there Lloyd," Cole tells him "she's ok.."

Lloyd stood leaning against Cole as Kai and Reika helped Aria over. Lloyd immediately used whatever strength he had to wrap his arms around her. Kai and Reika help support the two so they can be together.

"Don't knock her over tater tot," Reika scolds

"We're here," Lloyd says to Aria

"Yes," Aria smiles "Together..'

"Let's get you two inside, huh?" Jay smiles at them

The Ninja walks away, chattering happily, relieved. Wu looks at Garmadon and smiles. Garmadon looks back at him and walks away.

Wu sighs sadly "Goodbye, Brother"

Later on, the doors of the monastery open up to Master Wu, Reika, Misako, Dareth, P.I.X.A.L., Faith, Skylor, Karlof, Cyrus Borg, Gayle Gossip, The Postman, and the monks waiting. Master Wu bows.

The male Ninjas each dip a hand into a paint and line up to press their hand onto the wall, creating a new painting—the symbol of destiny—for the mural. They moved aside as Aria used her hands to create a purple and gold symbol, for balance. Reika, P.I.X.A.L., Skylor, and Misako join up with the Ninja to look at the mural. Skylor winks at Kai and everyone cheers.

"Thank you for keeping your promise," Lloyd says as he lays his head against Aria's head.

Aria smiles, closing her eyes in peace "Thank you for choosing me."
