"I see," Layla sets her glass down "so Harumi has yet to find a suitable match."

The royal family was once again gathered together to speak about the posing topic at hand, Layla's successor.

"I'm afraid not mother," Harumi replies "but I would like to be promoted as well. My sister has had many intriguing articles written about her lately. I feel that the people should get to know me as well, seeing as the royal family is so private."

"Aria is being promoted as a ninja," Layla replies turning to her daughter "it's not unknown knowledge that she is a princess. She receives no more promotion then you are allowed."

"The people simply adore my dear sister," Zero smiles "she has helped save the city on many accounts. Are you feeling left out because the world did not bless you with elemental power as well?"

Harumi looks at him annoyed "That's not what I-"

"You misunderstand Harumi," Aria cuts her off "what Zero means to say, is that you are confined to the walls of the palace because the world is much too dangerous for you. If anything were to happen to me, you would be needed to take my place as crown princess."

"You're not the crown princess!" Harumi erupts as she stood up.

"Harumi!" Layla glares at her "Control yourself child."

"My apologies, mother," Harumi responds, sitting back down in her seat.

"The crown princess shall be one of you, but I will also postpone this decision till your coming of age ceremony Aria," Layla says turning to her "You act like a child still."

"Even so," Aria looks at her mother "As a child I saved the city. I deserve some respect from my sister, should she continue being so rude."

"That is true," Layla agrees turning to Harumi "watch how you speak to your sister from now on Harumi. You are a princess of this Empire, act like it."

"Yes mother," Harumi answers, glaring at Aria.

Zero and Aria simply smirk and turn their attention back to the meal.

"In other news," Layla speaks "The temple of time has been destroyed."

The royal family all seemed to freeze at those words.

"That can't be," Zero says in shock "That place has been heavily guarded since the beginning of your rein."

"What is the temple of time?" Harumi asks confused

"It's where the essences of time are kept." Layla responds, glancing at Aria who to her surprise didn't look confused.

"What happened to the essences of time?" Aria asks

"They're gone," Layla states turning her full attention to Aria, she folds her hands together "I expect you and the Ninja to find them, Aria."

"You can count on me mother," Aria bows her head

Zero and Aria exit the room together as Harumi and Richard stay with Layla.

"It seems our past is starting to catch up with us brother," Aria says

"How long have you remembered?" Zero questions turning to her "How long, sister?"

"That's for me to know Zero," Aria responds before turning to him "this time, I'll keep you safe."

Zero smiles as Aria walks away from him. Aria heads to the museum first, where Kai and Reika were already walking towards the entrance.

"Oh wifey~" Aria calls out

Reika perked up and turned her head to see Aria.

"Wifey!" Reika runs over to her and tackles her

"Hello dear," Aria pats her head

"Hey sis," Kai runs up to the two "Where have you been? Something's happened."

"Sorry, had a family meeting," Aria responds "What's going on?"

"Sensei's not good," Kai shakes his head "Worse is, there's snakes again."

"Man, snakes really love Ninjago," Aria jokes before turning serious "What happened to Sensei Wu?"

"We arrived as Sensei was fighting with this weird guy who was messing with time!" Reika explains "He disappeared but Wu hasn't been good ever since."

"Then that's the guy I'm after," Aria tells them "really important fragments disappeared from our armory. Our guards taken out and the place destroyed."

"This isn't a coincidence then," Kai says

"Not in the slightest," Aria shakes her head "Any leads?"

"Only one.." Kai tells her reluctantly "But, I need you to confirm something."

"What?" Aria asks

"I need you to tell me if the people in this picture are who I think they are," Kai replies

"Of course," Aria agrees

The three head inside. Krux, disguised as Dr. Saunders, approaches them.

"Dr. Saunders" Aria addresses him

"In the very flesh-flesh. You were expecting different doctor?" He says

Kai turns to him "I was looking for you."

"Were you now?" He asks

"Do you recognize this?" Kai shows him the helmet.

"Hm. It slightly resembles a post-Serpentine War Samurai battle helmet, but is probably just a knock-off. Cheapy-cheap-cheap." He replies "Perhaps costume from Ninjago Con?"

"Uh, I don't think so." Kai says "We got it off a snakey Samurai Warrior we defeated."

"Snake Warrior?" He questions

"Actually, a bunch of snakes, all, like, twisted into one, attacked the Borg Store. It was on the news. Don't you watch TV?" Kai asks

"I despise TV" His voice slowly goes back to normal "A vile, bilious contraption" He fixes his voice. "I-I-I mean, interesting. Heh! If you leave it with me, perhaps I can look into its origin. Heh! Goodbye" he walks away with the helmet.

"Master Wu always says "Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today." So I would like to look around now. Maybe I'll stumble on something useful. Is that okay?" Kai asks

"Of course." He agrees "We are open to the public for seven days of the week. Late on Thursdays."

"Thanks" Kai gestors for Aria and Reika to follow him.

Kai walks to the mural.

"Is this a mural of the old battle?" Aria asks "Against the Hands of Time?"

"Yeah," Kai reaches up and moves the folded part of the picture, revealing a young Zero holding the hand of older Aria in her past life "This is what I need you to confirm.. that's you and your brother right?"

"Yes," Aria confirms, turning to him "In my past life Zero and I aided the hands of time."

"Why?" Kai questions before shaking his head "Never mind, you wouldn't know.. heh.. I forgot you don't remember your past life."

"To create my own world," Aria mutters

"Huh?" Reika looks surprised "Did you say to create your own world?"

"Huh?" Aria jumped back, shocked that she heard her "I- I mean- yeah.. I mean sorta. You know.. change one thing you change everything.. their was something I wanted to change."

"Aria," Kai looked concerned "you need to tell us what's going on. I thought you couldn't remember.."

"It's a hard story," Aria shook her head "Zero informed me a little bit of what happened. In the end the Hands of Time betrayed us."

"Acronix is gone and Master Wu said Krux was lost in time forever." Kai looks at her "So that means Krux must still be around somewhere!"

"Don't be ridiculous. I have told you, they are myth." Dr. Saunders says approaching them, as his fake mustache falls off.

"What is the-" Kai turns to him "Dr. Saunders! You. You're Krux! Which means Master Wu was wrong! You weren't lost in time!"

"No surprised there." Aria says

"Wow," Reika comments "lot's of shit happening today."

"No, no, no, no, no, no. That is positively..." Krux's voice goes back to normal "correct. I've been hiding here, right under his nose for decades."

"I knew I'd seen that helmet before!" Kai shouts

"Well, aren't you clever? Such a smart little ninja." Krux smirks

Kai attacks Krux with Spinjitzu "Ninja, go!"

"I almost forgot that Wu taught you Spinjitzu." Krux rolls his eyes

"Yeah, but I came up with this one all on my own." Kai jumps on the statue Acronix was spying on with while Reika tackles the old man.

Aria notices the other brother and blocks him from entering the fight. The sarcophagus falls over revealing Cyrus.

"Cyrus Borg! So you kidnapped him!" Kai growls

Krux laughs "I prefer the term "acquired.""

"That means you took out Zane too." Kai says

"Nothing is getting by you. Today is your day. Too bad it's your last. You and I are nearly an equal match, but let's see how you do against both Hands of Time! Brother! Brother?" Krux looks around "Where are you?!"

On the other side of the museum Aria and Acronix were fighting. Aria's eyes glow purple as she kicks him through the walls and he lands in the room where Krux and Kai were.

"She's the Overlord's brat!" Acronix says to Krux

"I thought she was dead?!" Krux asks

"If you don't remember boys," Aria smirks "It's a little hard to get rid of me."

"It's a shame your brother shared a different fate," Acronix chuckles

"I hate to break it to you, but your little plan didn't work." Aria tells him "My little brother is still alive and well."

The hands of time growl at her statement. The twins charge at her, she grabs Krux and throws him into Acronix.

"A little off your fight aren't you?" Aria taunts.

Acronix smirks and he's behind her.

"He can speed up time watch out!" Kai shouts

Aria laughs and then suddenly Acronix is on the ground.

"Or- what?" Kai looks surprised

"Let's make this a bit more fair shall we: Krux attempt to turn time back but time stood still and soon it broke where they were standing in the place "What?!" He glares at her "You little brat, you have an essence of time on you!"

"Hm do I?" Aria asks looking innocent.

"You won't get in our way again!" Acronix punches her in the back, Aria's eyes went from glowing purple to solid purple.

Aria turned to look at him as purple static appeared around her, she laughs and glares at the brothers.

"Now now boys," Aria says in a dark voice "I remember telling you to play nice."

"I think that backfired!" Krux shouts at his brother

"How was I supposed to know it would do that!" Acronix shouts "She's a monster!"

"Yo.." Reika stared at Aria "I think her mommy voice just kicked in."

"Reika please," Kai hides his face

Reika, Kai, and Aria continue to fight the time brother's before Krux tells Kai and Reika about their parents "Oh, they were heroes, heroes for our side!"

"But it's time out—" Acronix was cut off by getting splashed with Water.

"Aw, gee. What a mess." Nya says "And to think we just cleaned up the museum."

"Nya!" Kai and Reika shout

"Good to see you, sis." Reika says happily

"Back at you, sis. Now let's teach these two a lesson in sibling rivalry." Nya replies turning to Aria "Care to join us, sis?"

Aria smirks before the four began to fight and over power Acronix and Krux. Until Acronix sees Borg trying to reach the other Time Blade.

"Until next time," Acronix smirks as he and Krux jump to it

"Get back here!" Aria shouts throwing an energy ball at them

"Woah!" Kai shouts

"Overkill!" Nya agrees

The Time Twins and Borg disappear before the dark energy ball hits, creating a mild explosion in the museum.

"They got away!" Aria growls

"Forget that," Kai says rushing up to her "If that hit you could've hurt Borg."

"One casualty is small compared to the whole empire!" Aria growls before holding her head in pain "Ah!"

"Aria," Nya approaches her looking worried "Are you ok?"

"That time blade did something to her," Reika tells them, concerned, "Aria?"

Aria shakes her head and looks at them, her eyes solid green.

"Just a headache," Aria replies "I'm sorry.. that was overkill."

The three siblings look at each other with a worried expression.

"Aria," Reika puts her hand on Aria's shoulder "I think you need to tell us what's going on. Your brother didn't tell you anything did he.."

"No," Aria looks at the three "Cause I remember." she looks at Nya "it was Nadakhan."

"Who?" Kai looks confused as Nya gasps

"What is she talking about?" Reika asks

"Nothing," Nya takes Aria's hand with a smile "Why don't we have a talk? You can tell me everything."

"Yeah," Aria nods "And Jay too."

Nya nods "The three of us will sit down and talk."

Kai and Reika look at each other confused as Aria and Nya began to head back to the cave.
