Jay and Nya think about his last wish as they approach the lighthouse where Zane's father was imprisoned many years ago.

"Okay, here's a crazy one: what if you wish to resurrect the Devourer? Then we sic it on Nadakhan?" Nya suggests

Jay shakes his head "No, uh-uh. Can't do that either. Can't wish to do harm, can't wish for more wishes. And you can't wish for...hehe, love. Which is how I got us into this mess. All due to just one little glimpse into the future showing us together." He sighs "Our friends, gone. Our world, torn apart. Look at us. This is all my fault."

"Jay..." Nya looks up and gasps

"I guess we really do end up together, just not how I'd envisioned it." Jay says

"Stop." Nya tells him

"I know, I know." Jay sighs "You don't want to hear it.

"No, I mean stop talking." Nya points up "Look!"

Jay looks up into the sky to see a black dragon. The dragon looks down and roars at them.

"Ahh!" Jay freaks out and starts rowing faster "Why is there a dragon?!"

"Hurry!" Nya panics

The two make it to the lighthouse and quickly rush to the doors. They try to open it but they seem stuck. The dragon lands on the island as they turn to face it.

Jay hides behind Nya as the dragon transforms back into Aria.

"Hiding behind Nya, how cowardly." Aria comments

"I see titties again!" Jay freaks out

"Aria!" Nya shouts, running towards her, Jay soon following following after.

"Man are we glad to see you," Jay says as he and Nya hug her.

"Where are the others?" Aria asks

"They all used their 3 wishes and got trapped by Nadakhan," Nya tells her

"Reika must've gotten trapped too," Aria says "she disappeared from the monastery."

"So their's only 3 of us left," Jay says

"Nadakhan's after the power to grant infinite wishes," Nya tells her "We've hidden here to come up with a plan."

"Infinite wishes?" Aria questions, before thinking and muttering "Infinite wishes to have the power to create a new world.."

"Do you know something Aria?" Jay asks

"Uh, no," Aria shakes her head before looking around  "Did you hear that? I don't think we're alone."

The group looks around the island to see Tai-D talking to someone, but they soon leave.

"We're not the only ones here." Nya says

"Ugh. You mean I've been exposing my innermost feelings in front of a complete stranger?" Jay questions annoyed "Ugh! I feel so violated."

"They won't be a stranger after we get to know them." Nya points to the doors "Hurry, let's get inside."

"We've been locked up so long, I think you're starting to see things." Jay tells her

"Like how I'm seeing there's a hidden basement in the lighthouse?" Nya says as she pulls a switch.

The group turns as a trap door opens. They head down into the secret lab where different inventions sat.

 "Looks like a bunch of stuff from Zane's father's old lab." Aria says

They hear something clang to the floor and Jay jumps.

"You're right, we're not alone." Jay hides behind her.

"I thought you were supposed to protect me." Nya says looking at him annoyed

"I thought you were over that!" Jay defends

Nya looks out "Whoever you are, come out."

A rusted prototype of Zane comes out from hiding. The 3 ninja look surprised.

"I am Zane." It says "Built to protect those who cannot protect themselves."

"Zane?" Jay looks confused before coming to a conclusion "Oh! When Zane's father was trapped here, he must've built a replacement Zane."

"That would explain his model," Aria says as she examined the Echo Zane.

"Great, another knight in rusted armor." Nya says

"Rusted, maybe. But can he still protect?" Jay asks.

Echo Zane demonstrates, but falls.

"Built to protect what? Itself?" Nya questions turning to Aria who shrugs

"Who knows? But if the two of us can't figure out my wish, maybe a new perspective might help." Jay says

"Well, what do you think Aria?" Nya asks

"About Jay's last wish?" Aria questions turning to Jay "What were your first two?"

"I uh-" Jay shakes his head "Are they relevant?"

"If you used them to try to help," Aria replies

"Then they're not," Jay tells her "They were.. curiosity wishes."

"Who's that?" Echo Zane suddenly asks

The group turns to see Nadakha's reflection in the mirror.

Jay gasps "Break the mirror, before they know where we are."

Aria quickly shatters the mirror, the group looks at each other.

"Do you think.." Jay says

"I don't think it was long enough," Nya shakes her head

"I hope not," Aria says, staring at the shattered mirror.

Jay touches the teapot.

"Don't even think about it." Nya tells him "The Traveler's Tea should only be used as a last resort."

"You have traveler's tea?" Aria questions as she picks up the teapot

"But we know they're coming." Jay argues

"And we're just going to abandon them?" Aria questions "He has our brothers, my wife, my boyfriend, in case you've forgotten, he has our family!"

"You said you saw us old together in the future, right? Then doesn't that mean you do protect me? That we do get through this? You know as well as I do, we can't keep running." Nya tells him "No matter where we go, Nadakhan won't stop coming. But that doesn't mean we can't stop him here, together. All of us."

"Nya's right Jay," Aria agrees "if we don't end this now, everything will be lost."

"You're right." Jay sighs "We have the poison, and I may not know what to wish for now, but the future is inevitable."

"Let's prepare then," Aria says "We make a stand right here, right now. There's no going back."

Jay and Nya nod. The group quickly prepare to fight off the Djinn and his pirate crew. They set up traps around the lighthouse and finally stand ready to face the Nadakhan.

"Keep this close." Nya approaches Aria and Jay "I transferred the poison into the dart. You may only have one shot at him, so use it wisely."

"Thanks," Jay takes the dart from her

"Is that wise?" Aria questions "Jay hasn't always been the best shot."

"I trust him," Nya smiles

Jay smiles to her before facing Aria, he hands her the teapot "If anything happens to me, use the Traveler's Tea to get yourself and Nya out of here." he looks at Nya "He's convinced he's going to marry you. If that happens, nothing can stop him." Nya looked upset "Uh...uh...you're upset. What did I say?"

"It's nothing you said. It's just...both of you seem to convinced you see a future with me. What voice do I have in all this?" Nya asks "All my life, my identity has been defined by someone else. First I was Kai's sister, then I was your horrible girlfriend. Even when I tried to be Samurai X, Sensei told me no, I had to be the Water Ninja."

"Nya, I-I never knew you felt this way." Jay says

"All I wanted is to be able to choose my own destiny." Nya replies

"Well, then, what do you want to be?" Jay asks

" I don't know." Nya shakes her head but smiles "But just having the power to choose for myself is enough. I believe you when you say we'll end up together, but it's my future too. I just wish I had a say in it. And I wish we didn't have a lovestruck Djinn chasing us to the ends of Ninjago."

"That's it! What if I wished he wasn't a Djinn? What if he was like us?" Jay questions

"What?" Aria looks confused

"Then it wouldn't matter if he married me." Nya says "He'd never get his wishes."

"Better yet, he won't be able to use his magic to get away, so we could trap him here forever." Jay smiles

"Is that truly how it can work though?" Aria asks "Can you just simply wish for him to no longer be a Djinn?"

"I don't know," Jay replies confidently "But it's worth a shot! It's not in the rules."

"Hmm." Echo Zane gets their attention "I sense they are here."

"Remember, Jay, when you wish it, he has to hear it." Nya tells him

"Get the girl!"

"Let's move!" Aria pushes Jay

"All right, everyone take your positions." Nya says

The tower's defenses hold out for a time until its walls are breached, and Jay and Nya end up fighting together both on the offensive. Aria holds off Clancee as Jay and Nya fight Doubloon and Dogshank. They soon disappear into the portal as Aria and Clancee are at each other's throats.

"You always do what your captain tells you to?" Aria questions, pinning him down "Here I thought Snakes were loyal to their kind."

"That's rich coming from someone who plotted to kill their father!" Clancee wrapped his tail around her and threw her into the sand. "You're fighting the very being you created!"

"Perhaps he should look into new employment!" Aria shouts, throwing sand into his eyes

"Ah!" Clancee rubs his eyes

Aria's eyes glow purple before chains wrap around her.

"Ah!" Aria struggles to break the chains

"You should never get distracted master," Nadakhan laughs

Aria growls "Fuck."
