I do request some comments this chapter, everyone has been quiet lately.. and this was a lot to write. SO I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.. and please don't tear up like I did.

"That flower is half dead why is it in the display!"

"I'll fix it right away!"

"And you, what is that?!"

"Uh- I-"

"Fix it! What kind of wedding do you think this is?!"

Reika and Aria stood off to the side with Kaname as Hanabusa barked at the servants.

"This is your crown princess's wedding people! Get your acts together!"

"He's at it again," Reika says

"Shouldn't we say something?" Aria questions

"Best to stay away when he's like this," Kaname suggests "he's acting like he's your mother."

"Yes," Aria giggles "but it's sweet."

 Layla walks out to the courtyard and stared at Hanabusa as he continued to shout at the servants. Kaname, Reika, and Aria immediately straightened out as Layla approached them.

"Hanabusa," Layla says calmly

"I- Ah," Hanabusa jumps when he turns around to see Layla "Your majesty, what brings you here?"

"Checking on the preparations for my daughter's wedding," Layla responds "Everything must be perfect. I assume you are making sure things are done properly?"

"Yes ma'am," Hanabusa solutes

Aria looks down at her hands nervously, Reika turns to look at her curiously.

"Everything alright princess?" Reika asks

"I.. haven't seen Lloyd in a week since preparations began," Aria fidgets "what if he's having second thoughts. We haven't really discussed it since so much has been happening."

"That's precisely the reason we are holding the wedding now," Layla states "so much is happening it's best to have it before it's too late.

"Yes mother," Aria nods

"Look happy on your wedding day at least dear," Layla says as she walked back towards the castle "a wedding between the crown princess and the green ninja will certainly go down in the history books. It must be perfect for all to see."

"Yes," Aria bows "as you say mother."

Reika and Kaname look annoyed as Layla returns back into the castle.

"Princess we're going to be late for your dress fitting," Hanabusa calls out "the alterations are done."

"I'm coming," Aria smiles as she rushes up to Hanabusa

"Aria can't even enjoy her own wedding because of her mother," Reika turns to Kaname looking irritated "she makes me so mad!"

"Hold your tongue Reika," Kaname closes his eyes "though I understand your frustrations."

"She's putting so much pressure on Aria for this to be perfect," Reika says almost shouting "this isn't supposed to be about her or the royal family, it's about Aria and Lloyd becoming husband and wife."

"I completely agree," Kaname nods "but unfortunately there is nothing we can do or say about it. "

"Hm," Reika thinks to herself "or maybe we can."

Aria sat in front of her mirror as her mother brushed her hair. She turned to look out the window as the sun began to rise.

"Smile Aria," Layla tells her "It's your wedding day."

"It doesn't feel like it," Aria mutters

"knock knock"

The two turn to see Zero at the door with a smile on his face.

"Zero!" Aria rushed out of her chair to hug her brother "You came!"

"Well, you called." Zero wrapped his arms around her "I would never miss your wedding."

"I just fixed her hair," Layla looks annoyed

Zero turns to his mother "Sorry- oh I'm not the only one that came.

"Ello!" Vanya peeked her head into the room "I'm here too!"

"Vanya," Aria smiles seeing the familiar face "What are you doing here?"

"Well.." Zero blushes slightly as he rubs his neck "You said I could bring a date."

"Hm," Aria nods as she looks at her brother once again "I see."

Layla marches to the group and pushes her son out.

"Yes yes very nice," Layla put a hand on her hip "The maids and I need to get Aria ready. Why don't you make yourself useful and help Hanabusa and Kaname get the wedding ready."

"Sure thing Mother," Zero waves to them before walking away

"Honestly," Layla sighs "you two are as inseparable as ever. Just when I thought I got rid of him."

A maid came into the room and bowed "The bath is ready ma'am,"

"Shoo shoo," Layla pushes Aria towards the bathroom "We have a lot to do."

Aria sighs as she follows the maids into the bathroom. After a long day of preparing it was almost time for the wedding. Layla left Aria in her room alone to check on the wedding hall and alter. Aria stood at her balcony in her robe, staring down in front of the palace where the people of Ninjago were starting to gather.

"A fine show you're putting on Mother," Aria sighs "a public display of the ever strengthening crown.. with the green ninja.. the savior of Ninjago.. added to your roster."

"You make it sound like a bad thing,"

Aria turns around to see Lloyd sitting on the railing of the balcony, smiling at her.

"L-Lloyd what are you doing here?" Aria blushes "It's bad luck to see each other before the wedding."

"I know, but I needed to see you," Lloyd tells her as he jumps down from the railing "As for how I got up here.. well.. you can thank them."

Lloyd tilts his head to the side of the balcony, Aria walked over to him curiously and looked down to see the Ninja in their tux's, waving up at her.

"You guys.." Aria laughs with slight tears in her eyes "are as crazy as ever."

Lloyd took her hand and kisses it "Are you scared?"

"Not really.." Aria shakes her head "It just doesn't really feel like our wedding. Just a big show my mother is putting on."

"I know what you mean," Lloyd says "but it's still our wedding." he smiles to her "no matter how many people are here. All I will see is you."

Aria tears up as she hugs him "thank you.."

"I love you Aria," Lloyd says "today will be the day you become my wife, and I couldn't be happier. Trust me."

"I do," Aria replies

"As long as you say that again," Lloyd chuckles "I'll be happy."

With that, Lloyd jumped from the balcony and the ninja catch him. The group sneaks back to their quarters as Aria walks back into her room where Reika stood. Aria approached her wedding dress as Reika smiles to her.

"I bet it looks beautiful on you," Reika says "and I know Lloyd will think so too."

"Yes," Aria replies

Soon enough, Reika leaves the room as the maids enter to prepare Aria for her wedding. With her makeup done and her dress on, it was finally time to start. The citizens of Ninjago gathered near the royal alter where Layla and the royal council sat.

Everyone became quiet once Lloyd and the ninja walked down towards the alter. Layla stood up and everyone else followed suit. Lloyd stood on his side as the ninja stood farther off to the side then they wished. Zero stood next to Nya, Wu and Vania in the front row.

Soon enough Aria's guards stood at attention and everyone gasped once Aria appeared at the end of the isle. Lloyd smiled seeing his beautiful fiancé, who was about to become his wife. Aria looked seemingly down before making a smile.

Aria walked down the isle alone towards the alter before taking her spot in front of Lloyd. Layla began the wedding, but Aria seemed to drown out most of the words as she stared down at her flowers. She looked towards the ninja who were standing so far away, everything wasn't as she imagined.

Aria looked up at Lloyd who smiled to her and nodded, reassuring her everything was fine. Soon enough Lloyd took her hand and she held his. Aria smiled seeing his happy face. They repeated the words Layla had them say as their vows to each other before placing their rings on each other.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," Layla announces

The citizens of Ninjago, as well as the ninja, cheered as the couple kissed. Aria's knights walked in front of the couple as they made their way back down the isle and out of the public eye.

"See," Lloyd puts his arm around her waste "it wasn't so bad."

"Yeah," Aria agrees

Lloyd pulls her closer and kisses her forehead. Later that night, Aria and Lloyd sat on thrones as a ball convened celebrating their wedding. Aria's wedding dress was altered a bit for the party.

"Isn't this fun?" Lloyd asks her with a smile

"Mhm," Aria nods

Lloyd looks down, he knew she was disappointed, but he didn't know how to cheer her up right now.

"Pst," Zero peeked around the corner, waving to Lloyd

Lloyd nodded to him as he turned to Aria and held out his hand "Come with me."

"Huh?" Aria looks confused "Mother will be angry if we leave, this is our wedding party."

"I know, just for a little bit though." Lloyd stood up "Remember I said to trust me."

Aria looks towards Layla who was chatting happily with some of her friends and the council. Aria turned back towards Lloyd and took his hand. Lloyd led her to the hall where Zero and Vania stood waiting for them.

"Zero?" Aria questions "What's going on?"

"You'll see," Zero replies

Aria looks at her husband and the other two confused as they led her down the hall. They exited the castle and went into the garden that was lit with lanterns.

"Really guys, we're going to get in trouble," Aria says

"It's fine," Lloyd tells her

"It-"

"Sis," Zero interrupts her "you deserve the day that was meant to be yours."

Aria seemed puzzled as they walked further into the garden before coming to a stop. Aria immediately teared up at the scene in front of her. The ninja all stood in a line with Wu in their attire for the wedding. Nya, Vania, Reika, Hanabusa, and Kaname stood off to the side.

"I don't understand," Aria says

"Don't get me wrong, the wedding was grand and beautiful," Lloyd turns to her "but it didn't feel like our wedding right? Well, here's our wedding."

Wu walks up and held his arm to her "I believed the honor to walk to bride down the isle goes to me."

Aria began to cry as the ninja and Reika smiled.

"Hey, us too," Kai says walking up "We raised her after all."

Lloyd walked to the end of the isle and stood there as the ninja all stood in line down the isle. Aria wiped her eyes and took Wu's arm. Wu walked Aria a bit down the isle before handing her off to Jay. 

Jay then walked her a bit down the isle before handing her off to Zane, Zane then walked a bit down the isle before handing her off to Cole, Cole then walked a bit down the isle before handing her off to Kai, Kai then walked down the rest of the isle before handing her off to Lloyd finally.

Lloyd took her hand as Wu, Kai, Zane, Jay, and Cole stood right beside Lloyd. Vania stood right on Aria's side with Reika, Hanabusa and Kaname. Zero stood in front of the couple.

"Well," Zero smiles "make your vows."

"Aria," Lloyd began "I love you, so much. Whether you're a princess, a ninja, the daughter of the Overlord.. I don't care.. as long as your mine. No matter what happens, no matters where life takes us, I want to do it with you and only you." Aria tears up again and Lloyd wipes the tears from her eyes "You are my wife, now and forever."

"I couldn't agree more," Aria wipes her eyes "Lloyd I will always love you, much longer then forever. I'll be by your side, even if the world stops turning. Life is a road and I wanna keep going. I will always stand at the beginning at it all with you, and we'll see the end. Together."

"Well, Green Ninja, Crown Princess Aria," Zero looks between the two with a smile "Lloyd Garmadon and Aria Lord. You are now and forever, husband and wife. I guess you may now kiss the bride, my sister, again."

The ninja laugh at Zero before Lloyd and Aria kiss once again. The group cheer and the couple break to look at each other, both happier then they were before. Reika whistles and the ninja began to as well. Lloyd blushes embarrassed and Aria laughs as they hold hands and face the ninja.

"You guys are the best," Aria says with a beaming smile.

"It was thanks to Reika," Nya tells her

"Yes," Wu nods "when we got the letter from Reika expressing your unhappiness, we knew as your family we needed to step in. I hope this was adequate."

"It was more then adequate," Aria smiles as a tear goes down her face "this is the best wedding ever."

The ninja all huddle together to hug the newlyweds. Eventually the group made their way back into the ball where Layla was standing with her arms crossed.

"Well, where did you all run off to?" Layla raised her eyebrow

"Mother.." Aria looks down

"Sorry," Lloyd apologized "It was my fault."

"You two do realize this is your wedding right?" Layla questions "And you ran off?!"

Wu walked up to the family "Parden the intrusion."

"What do you want Wu?" Layla asks

"I believe it is customary for the bride to dance with her father," Wu replies with a smile before turning to Aria "Would you do this old man an honor and share a dance with me before I hand you to your husband?"

"Of course," Aria smiles as she tears up again

"But you're not her father Wu," Layla sighs

"Well, I don't see anyone else that fits that description," Wu replies as he leads Aria to the ballroom floor.

Wu and Aria began dancing.

"I hope those are happy tears," Wu says

"They are," Aria replies

"I may not be your real father," Wu tells her "but I've seen you grow from a small child to the woman you are today, and I couldn't be prouder."

"Thank you," Aria quickly wipes her eyes "that means so much, sensei."

Wu smiles before spinning her and handing her hand to Jay.

"Your husband can have you after your brothers," Jay laughs

"I suppose so," Aria giggles

"Thanks for being my sister Aria," Jay tells her "I hope the next time we're stuck in a video game you have my back again."

"Oh Jay, I'll always have your back," Aria says "but let's not let that happen again."

"Hehe," Jay laughs as he spins her.

Jay hands her hand to Zane, who follows the dance steps exactly.

"Did you download how to dance on your hard drive?" Aria asks jokingly

"Yes, I did in fact." Zane replies with a smile "I wanted to be able to dance with you like the others."

"You're sweet Zane," Aria tells him "Never change brother."

"I shall not," Zane says "as long as you don't. Keep being yourself, dear sister."

Zane spins her around before handing her hand to Cole.

"Oh look, your dance skills are getting better," Aria teases

"Hey, I can waltz." Cole argues with a smile "We use to practice together as kids, remember?"

"Of course I do," Aria says "You compared yourself to me too much."

"That is true, but if it wasn't for you I never would've believed in myself." Cole tells her "So thank you, cuz. It's all thanks to you I found my true strength."

"Well, It's all thanks to you I found mine." Aria responds "So thank you Cole, for always having my back."

"If you got me, I got you." Cole tells her

Cole spins her around before handing her to Kai.

"Guess it's my turn," Kai says "I've.. never really danced before."

"You've never exactly been mr perfect Kai," Aria giggles "but you never had to be."

"I know," Kai smiles "but I had some amazing little sisters to look after."

"I hope you'll continue looking out for me Kai," Aria says "I may be married, but I'll still need my big brother."

"Hey, you call, I'll be there." Kai smiles "You can count on me."

Kai spins her before handing her hand to Zero.

"Well now it's me," Zero says as he glides across the room with her "your actual brother."

"Blood is blood my dear brother," Aria replies "and it counts for something."

"I wasn't around when you needed me the most," Zero sighs before smiling "but I knew you had a good family looking after you."

Aria looks at the ninja who were gathering together at the side, watching, "You're right, they're amazing."

"I'll still be your best knight though," Zero tells her "I'll protect you with my life."

"I know you would," Aria looks at her brother with a smile "but it's your turn to live your life, little brother."

"Then I guess I lost," Zero smiles "thanks for saving me back then, big sis. I hope in this life, you live it to the fullest."

Zero stops and kisses her hand before handing her to Lloyd.

"Take care of my sister," Zero tells him

"I will," Lloyd replies

Zero bows to the two before walking over to Vania who stood next to the ninja. Everyone else had disappeared from the ballroom floor, it was just Lloyd and Aria standing in the middle. Lloyd and Aria looked at each other in the eyes and smiled happily.

Lloyd began leading her across the dance floor. Everyone else seemed so distant, it was like they were the only ones in the room. Nya laid her head on Jays shoulder as Zero wrapped his arm around Vania's waste.

"Well, my wife," Lloyd says with a smile "how was it?"

"Well, my husband," Aria kisses him before responding "It was certainly a wedding to remember.. and I loved it.. I love you."

Lloyd put his forehead against hers "I love you too."
