Irrelevant but ok
I know this is really irrelevant but I feel a need to talk about it. Probably just cause I'm really bored rn.
So I do film studies, and we watched a short film today called over (strongly recommend, go watch before I spoil it all here. I warned you. Ok.) and I'm genuinely like quite scarred from it. We watch quite a lot of scarring films in film. 😂
This is your final warning before I spoil it for you. If you are going to watch it do it now. Please don't spoil yourself the film is best without being spoiled.
Ok. Read ahead at your own risk.
So basically it's based of the true story of a guy who fell from the sky after hiding on a plane. It was an immigrant who was trying to get to the uk so hid out in the wheel well or something, but died and fell out of the plane. The whole film is made backwards, so it starts that evening and works it's way backwards to the morning, where the guy falls from the sky. So the whole time you are led to believe that there was some sort of murder or road accident or something. So when a guy suddenly falls from the sky, it's quite shocking. Literally everyone in my class jumped when it happened. It sent chills through me. Can you imagine just seeing a guy fall from the sky? How terrifying that would be? Luckily the actual guy irl landed on a rooftop, not in the middle of the road or anything, but it would still be terrifying. Even watching it a second time, it still scared me. I just can't get over it. And in the film when the guy lands on the car and sets of the alarm, the owner just comes out, turns it off and walks back in. Before that, several people just went past it without even realising it was there. It's just so chilling. I can't comprehend it.
Update: it literally happened again a few days ago. This time it genuinely landed in some guys backyard. How scarring that must be.
