Healing
Scott's Perspective-
I'm so sorry all of these are in Scott's perspective, but the next chapter will be Jimmy's! (also sorry, this chapter's really short)

Time Skip Through the Months-
It felt...weird.
Going home and being loved.
Not getting shouted at.
Going home and...knowing that I'm okay with being me.
Knowing that my mother would still love me.
It took some getting used to, but I'm happy it happened.
I'm happy she kicked my father out.
Stephan's been helping me out and it's been getting better.
I apologized to Katherine for getting so mad at her and invited her to sit with Jimmy and his friends.
We all started to hang out and play video games together.
Normally Mario Kart or the board game Clue.
Mumbo, Pix, or Grian normally won Clue.
Jimmy calls it 'the game for smart people', and I like that title.
It's been fun hanging out with them and inviting them over to my house.
Having them be able to hang out with me and not get shouted at.
My mother's actually been redecorating the house.
She's put up an ally flag in her office and she took down the photos that had my father in it.
I think she was a bit upset about him leaving, but she seems a lot happier.
I know it'll take time for her to heal though, I mean, they were married for a long time.
And I know she loved him.
"But he wasn't a good person, and I don't love anyone who would abuse their child." She told me one night at dinner.
And I know we're in this together.
And she really likes my new friends.
Jimmy, Mumbo, Grian, Oli, Pix, she likes all of them.
"They seem like good people." She told me before kissing me goodnight, "And I'm sure they're all helping you through this."
"So are you." I smiled at her.
She smiled back, "And you're helping me."
"When's your friend coming down?"
"Nora? She should be here tomorrow."
"That's great! I'm sure she'll help you."
My mother smiled, "I'm sure she will."
She then turned off the lights and walked downstairs.
I smiled, looking out the window.
As December approached, so did new adventures.
But I was sure that whatever they brought, I would be just fine.
I had all my friends.
And of course,
I had my supportive, loving mother.
Who would never leave me for anything.
