Maki woke up in her room. She smiled and got dressed into the uniform. Maki checked the time.

"6:30 am.." She said to herself. Maki looked over at Alicia who was snoring quietly, sleeping. Maki sighed and shook Alicia.

"Wake up, we are going to be late for breakfast!" Maki shook and poked Alicia, trying to wake her up. Alicia just swatted Maki away.

"5 more minutes..."

"Don't you want to go have breakfast with Xander and the others?" Maki said, giggling.

Alicia blushed a lot and sat up.

"I hate you.." Alicia said tiredly

"I love you too" Maki laughed and gave Alicia's uniform to her.

After 10 minutes, they left and went to the cafeteria for breakfast.

Maki ran up to Major and hugged him.

"Goodmorning!" Maki smiled happily.

"Yes, yes. Good morning Maki." Major said.

"I would like to formally introduce you to Andrew and Alex. As you heard from your first day, Andrew is fourteen and Alex is eight." Andrew looked down on Maki and Alex waved.

"Why are there so many youngins here??" Andrew scoffed.

"C-Calm down Andy!" Alex stuttered. Andrew just looked away

"Hello! My name is Maki!" Maki said.

"N-Nice to meet y-you Maki." Alex smiled and held his hand out for Make to shake.

Maki took Alex's hand and shook it.

"Likewise! Where are you from?" Maki asked.

"I c-came from a city t-that burned down two y-years ago." Alex said quietly and sadly.

"Oh im sorry Alex!" Maki hugged Alex.

"My village was attacked. I'm not sure by whom but Im going to find them and take them down!" Maki said, tearing up.

Major looked a little worried but the look quickly disappeared.

"Okay Maki, let's get you some breakfast, would you like a small bowl of cereal?"

"Can I have a smoothie?" Maki asked.

Major nodded and went to make it. Maki playfully ruffled up Alex's hair and went to sit at the table. Andrew smirked and bent down to Alex's ear.

"Lovebirds~"

Alex jumped away from Andrew.

"Shut up!, I'm going to my room..." Alex started to stomp away.

"You might not wanna do that, Major might get mad unless you ask him." Andrew added.

Alex pouted and nodded slowly.

"Fine..just leave me alone!"

Andrew shook his head as Alex went to the kitchen to ask to go to his own room.

Maki ran up to Major and hugged his arm while he was making th smoothie.

"Major!"

"Yes Maki?"

Maki giggled and looked up at him.

"Can I call you dad?" Maki asked.

Major stared at Maki for a moment, a confused look was written upon his face.

"Why would you want to call me that?" He asked.

"Well, you remind me of my father like... alot! He was the one who taught me to use a gun and bow and arrow. So you are very much like my Papa." Maki explained.

Major nodded.

"I see.. Well, sure, I don't have a problem with it." Major replied an Maki smiled wide.

"Yay! Thank you!" Maki walked out of the kitchen and saw Alex walking toward the kitchen.

"Hi Alex!" Maki smiled but Alex ignored her and stomped to the kitchen.

"Sir Major." Alex stood next to Major and Major looked at Alex.

"Yes?"

"May I go to my room?"

"Did you eat?"

"No Sir."

Major sighed.

"Before you go to your room, you have to eat."

Alex groaned and grabbed an apple, stomping to go to the tables. He spotted Maki and walked to sit across from her.

"I'm sorry Maki, I am just a little frustrated."

Maki smiled.

"No it is quite alright. I understand."

Major walked out and gave Maki a smoothie.

"Oh thank you Dad!" Maki giggled.

"Wait... he is your Father?" Alex looked back and forth at Maki and Major. Major sighed.

"No, she is not my daughter but since I resemble her previous father, she wanted to call me dad."

Maki laughed and smiled, causing Alex to blush lightly. He shook it off and looked at his half eaten apple and took another bite. Maki finished her smoothie and stood up.

"I'm going to the archery area. Then to the shooting range." Maki stated and she started to walk away. Alex ran up to Maki and walked with her.

"May I join you?" Alex asked.

"Um, sure!" Maki flashed a smile and grabbed a bow and a pack of arrows, walking up to the station and aiming. Maki shot the arrow and barely missed the bullseye.

"Aw man, I almost hit it!"

Alex shakily picked up a bow and one arrow, trying to aim the arrow, he kept dropping it. Maki walked over to Alex and set her bow and arrow, she grabbed Alex's hands and positioned them correctly.

"That's how you hold them, then you pull the arrow back and then aim and as soon as you're sure..." Maki made Alex let go and it hit the bullseye perfectly.

"You let go!" Maki giggled.

Alex stared and jumped up happily.

Maki smiled and walked over to the guns and lifted a rifle, taking aim and shot, hitting the dummy in the head.

"Much better."

Alex looked back at Major and Andrew, who were standing by the window, watching Maki.
