P.O.V of Robin. 

I did walk into school on Monday, though I was on crutches. I went into the courtyard where Artemis was waiting for me.
"How'd you do that?" She asked.
"Fell down the stairs." I lied, I was thrown down the stairs, multiple times.
"I swear I have never met anyone so clumsy." She laughed.
I tensed up when I saw Jim but he just walked past.
"I may have had a few words with him." She smirked at my expression, "And those words may have come from my fist and the rest of my super friends."
"Thank you." I said, genuinely happy about that.
"But I do have to ask," She said, "Have you ever heard of Deathsong before?"
I had told her to do this, dang my half asleep mind coming up with easy excuses that would kill me later on, "No."
"Well that's a shame, Robin told me you did." She said.
"Robin? As in Batman's sidekick?" I asked, hating the fast I was seen as a sidekick.
"Yeah." Artemis replied, "But we have science now and if you don't know anything we should get going."I agreed and we walked to Science together, today felt like it was going to be good.

At the end of the day I dressed up in my Robin outfit and headed to MT. Justice. My crutches meaning I had to leave my cape to stop them tangling together. When I arrived I was instantly picked up by KF and ran into the cell with Deathstroke, where the rest of the team where waiting with him chained to the wall.
"Here's the deal Dick." Artemis said, "Answer our questions and we won't blame his injuries on you."
"Why did you call me Dick," I asked, "That's offensive you know."
"Because it's your name Richard." She replied, "Now no more questions or Deathstroke gets hurt."
I shut my mouth, if they told Batman, I don't think even the crutches would be able to keep me standing.
"Is Batman Bruce Wayne?" Artemis asked.
"And if he is?" I replied.
Artemis delivered two blows to Slade, "Yes, he is." I answered quickly before she could get in a third hit.
"When we found with sleeping with Deathstroke were you really under the control of some serum?" Artemis asked.
"No."
"What's in the bag?" She asked, indicating the duffel I had brought with me.
"My stuff." I answered and she hit Slade again.
"Here have it." I said and gently passed it to her, "Be careful with it."
"Tie him next to Deathstroke." Artemis ordered and KF did.
I didn't fight back. I looked over at Slade, "I managed to get everyone on your list but Jerry. He said Joker was telling the Bat who I was."
"That's fine Dickie." Slade replied, "We'll find a way to work around that."
I hoped he was right, if Bruce adopted me I don't know what I would do. Probably kill myself.
"Why didn't you tell us about this?" KF asked and I looked away from Slade to him.
"Because I didn't know if I could trust you with that information." I replied as they started to tip the bag over, "No! Don't do that." They all looked up at me, "Gently, some of it could explode"
They unloaded it gently until my suit, mask, guns, katana's and ammo lay on the floor along with a ton of bandages and gauze wrapping.
"Why did you start working with him." SB asked.
"He has a name you know." I growled back
"And he doesn't deserve the respect for him to have it used." SB bit back.
"Yet you call Batman by his name." I smirked, not feeling it.
"Why should we call him anything else?" Megan asked, "He saved us multiple times."
I ignored her, "I started hanging around with him two years ago to avoid Bruce."
"Why?" Artemis asked, "Isn't Bruce Batman?"
"So?" I chuckled, "Doesn't mean I don't need a break from him."
"And I'm sure that break will be deserved one day." Batman said as he stood in the doorway, "Everyone out, leave these two tied up.
I tried to hide my fear as the door closed, leaving Slade and I alone with Batman.

P.O.V of Megan.

When Batman spoke Rob instantly started to give off strong waves of fear, though his face showed none of it.
Guys, I'm going to camo and stay in here. I said through the mind link as the others left, Something feels wrong and Rob is giving off so much fear.
Probably because Batman found him. Wally bit.
Just stay near the door in case something happens. I said and relayed what I was seeing and hearing to them.
"So, this is where you've been disappearing to." Batman sneered at Rob, "Playing with your weapons."
"I-I didn't mean you a-a-any offence." Rob stammered out.
"I don't care if you meant to offend me." Batman roared as he struck Rob around the face, "You have been with the enemy for two years." He punched into his arm, "And helped Slade to evade me." Punch in the gut.
"Leave the boy be." Slade growled from where he was also chained to the wall.
"Getting protective over my ward now." Batman growled getting up in Deathstroke's face, "Well say goodbye because a Joker just brought me the adoption papers. He's mine now."
"No, I won't let you have him." Deathstroke growled back.
"And how do you plan to stop me?" Batman said as he picked up one of Robin's katana's. Instantly Robin started struggling to protect Slade, "By doing this." And he lunged at Slade.
I instantly went into action and knocked the Katana from Batman's hand as he went flying.
Get in here. I yelled down the mind link and the door crashed down as the team entered the room and I abandoned camo mode.
Batman stood back up as we untied Slade and Robin, both of which immediately went for the weapons, Robin his katana's and Slade the pistols.
"I'm sure Dick wouldn't mind if you were wiped from the face of the Earth." Slade said as we all advanced on Batman.
"Don't kill him." Rob said from next to Slade, "No-one deserves to die."
"Are you sure?" Slade turned to Rob.
"Positive." He nodded.
Aqualad attacked first and was instantly sent flying into the wall, the same went with KF and neither of them stood back up. SB, Artemis and I all attacked next. I tried to go into his mind to disable his body but was instantly shoved back out and into a wall where I barley gripped onto consciousness. The same kind of thing happened to Artemis and SB. We didn't stand a chance of saving Rob. Then the boy and his protector were knocked down and everything finally went black.
