(Chihiro's PoV)

I stood nearby Mondo while the principal was doing his announcements. There were so many people here!

"Ahem, thank you. To new students here, welcome to Hope's Peak Academy! And to old students, welcome back! I hope all of you enjoy your time here! When your name gets called out, please head to the stage right here to get your dorm number and your home room class," Principal Kirigiri explained.

He started to call out the names of students whose family names started with 'A's.'

My family name starts with F so it may take a while depending on how many people have the same first letter of their family name.

(After a while)

"Fujisaki, Chihiro!"

My name was called up and I jogged towards the stage.

Once I arrived, I was handed a piece of paper that had my name and talent on it.

Fujisaki, Chihiro. Ultimate Programmer.
Class-78
Dorm floor one.
Dorm # 8

(I just picked a random number for his dorm)

I went back to where Mondo was after receiving my paper.

He was talking to a red haired guy and another guy who looked like he had a babyish face.

"And then I said to the guy, "Ice to meet you." Get it? Because it was freezing at the time?" The red haired guy said.

"Yeah your puns are not funny," said the baby face guy.

"Oh hello there. You're kind of cute," the red haired guy said, finally noticing me.

"Hey back off. He-she! She's like my little sister," Mondo said.

"Yeah, don't flirt with every girl you see," Baby face guy said.

"Yeah sorry about that. I'm Leon Kuwata, nice to meet you," Leon introduced himself.

"Oh I'm Chihiro Fujisaki. Nice to meet you too," I said.

"Hey, I'm Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu," Fuyuhiko introduced himself as well.

"Nice names. Umm, hate to ask but what are your talents?" I asked, shyly.

Leon let out a sigh before saying, "I'm the Ultimate Baseball Star but one day I'll change it to Ultimate Musician."

"That's a nice goal. Although baseball isn't a bad talent to be good at," I said.

"I know that but it's not my passion. Many people here have talents that they are passionate about and that's not me with baseball. It's a nice sport but not my passion. No, what my passion is music. I will be the Ultimate Musician," he explained.

"Oh do you know how to play any instruments then?" Fuyuhiko asked.

Leon stayed quiet about this.

"That's what I thought," Fuyuhiko folded his arms at this.

"Ah wait! I can sing though. I'll start with that and build from the ground up. Say there's a musician in your class right? Maybe I can talk to her to get a few tips," Leon said.

Fuyuhiko sighed. "I'll let her know if you're really that desperate," he said.

"Awesome!" Leon cheered.

"What about you two? What are your talents?" Leon asked.

"I'm the Ultimate Bike Gang Leader," Mondo explained.

"And I'm the Ultimate Programmer. And you Kuzuryu-san?" I asked.

"Just call me Fuyuhiko and I'm the Ultimate Yakuza," he explained.

"Oh that's a very interesting talent," I said.

"Thanks," he said.

(Time skip)

"Looks like we need to go to class now. The opening ceremony is done," Fuyuhiko said.

"Alright see you around Fuyuhiko," Leon said.

Fuyuhiko waved goodbye and went over to a grey haired girl and walked away.

"Let's go then. Thank goodness all three of us are in the same class," I said.

Leon and Mondo nodded.

We went to class.

As we arrived, there were others gathered there.

Some were sitting down, others were up and chatting and one seemed to be drawing something.

There was this loud, raven haired boy who came up to us and said, "You are the last ones here! Now we can start!"

I tilted my head to one side, confused.

"We need to introduce ourselves so we can all get to know each other as classmates. I'll go first if you all want!" The ravenette said.

"I'd rather not to," a blond haired boy muttered but no one paid much attention to him minus a girl with glasses and braided hair.

"I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru. I'm the Ultimate Moral Compass. It's all nice to meet you!" He explained.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Swimmer Pro. You may call me Hina if you like," a girl with a swirly ponytail said.

She looks nice, I thought.

A blue haired girl stood up from where she was.

"Hi, I'm Sayaka Maizono. I'm known as the Ultimate Pop Star Sensation," she said.

"Wait. The Sayaka Maizono? The super popular J-pop artist?" Leon asked.

She nodded and that left Leon to think about something. I was quite sure what though.

"Yo, I'm Yasuhiro Hagakure. I'm the Ultimate Clairvoyant. Nice to meet you all," a tall guy with brown palm tree hair like explained.

"Clairvoyant? Like psychic?" A lavender haired girl asked.

"We'll sort of. I'm only like 30% right but apparently Hope's Peak thought it was good enough for them," Yasuhiro explained.

"Ahem. If I may,"a girl wearing a black lolita dress spoke up.

She looks really pretty but also cold and stern. At least to me, I thought.

"I am Celestia Ludenburg, the Ultimate Gambler. Celeste is fine though," she introduced herself.

"That doesn't sound like a Japanese name. Are you foreign?" Sayaka asked but Celeste only responded with a giggle.

"Guess I'll go next. I'm Mukuro Ikusaba. Ultimate Soldier," a girl with black hair and freckles said.

"Guess it's my turn now. Upupupu~. Hi there! I'm Junko Enoshima. I am the Ultimate Fashionista!" A strawberry blonde pigtailed girl cheered.

(Yes the sisters are here. Don't worry, Junko is not plotting on destroying the world in this Au. I see her as one of those stereotypical popular girls)

"I'll go next. Sakura Ogami, the Ultimate Martial Artist," a large, white haired girl wearing a sailor's outfit spoke up.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am called The Ultimate Dojin Artist, Hifumi Yamada," a rather large boy wearing an orange backpack said. He seemed rather dramatic but it worked.

"Sup, I'm Leon Kuwata. My official title is The Ultimate Baseball Star but one day I'll be the Ultimate Musician," Leon said.

"I'm Mondo Owada, the Ultimate Bike Gang Leader. Nice to fu*king meetcha," Mondo introduced himself.

"Such vulgar language is not appropriate in a school environment," Kiyotaka scolded.

"Eh, whatever," Mondo shrugged.

"Hello. I'm Chihiro Fujisaki. I'm the Ultimate Programmer," I introduced myself.

"Hmmph, I guess I can introduce myself. The names Byakuya Togami. Ultimate Affluent Progeny. Don't forget my name because I'm not repeating it," the blond haired boy said.

"I-I guess I'll introduce m-m-myself although I doubt any of y-you will remember m-my name," the braided girl said.

"I'm T-Toko Fukawa. My Ultimate T-Talent is the Ultimate W-Writing Prodigy."

"Well I suppose I should get my introduction out of the way. I'm Kyoko Kirigiri, the Ultimate Detective," the lavender girl haired girl said.

Finally it was the brown haired boy who was previously talking to Aoi and Kyoko.

"Oh is it my turn now? I'm Makoto Naegi. I'm the Ultimate Lucky Student," he explained.

"Alright now that we all introduce ourselves, I believe it's time for cl-,"Kiyotaka said but got interrupted by a BOOM from outside.

"What the?" Leo asked.

Hifumi, who was the closest to the window, peeked outside and exclaimed, "There's a group of people setting up fireworks!"

"Wait what!" Kiyotaka shouted in shocked.

"I don't remember any talk of fireworks being set up," Kyoko said.

"Looks like it's another class," Aoi looked through the window.

I went over to the window as well and saw that it probably was another class.

The group of people all looked around our age and seemed to be talking happily among themselves.

Pink hair, yellow hair, grayish white hair, black hair, two identical looking twins, small girl wearing a smock, red hair, floofy hair, someone wearing a top hat of sorts, tired looking girl, tall girl with blue hair.

Those were the descriptions that I could explain.

"They don't seem like they care if they get in trouble or not," Sayaka noted.

"Well a lot of the staff here is pretty lax other if our lives are in danger so they might not get in trouble," Makoto pointed out.

I almost flinched because he was right next to me.

"That is a serious fire code violation that they are doing. I will put a stop to it!" Kiyotaka said and ran out of the classroom as the other class set off another firework.

"Well they do seem really beautiful but I suppose that it would be hard to concentrate with all that noise," Celeste said.

"Agreed," Kyoko said, folding her arms.

She looked serious but I swore that I saw her flash a smile when another firework was set off.

Being at Hope's Peak sure will be interesting, I thought.

They are a part of a really popular fan game.

The firework scene was inspired by a book on here called A Farewell to All Futures so go ahead and give it a read.

Just no spoilers. I haven't finished it yet.
