I remain silent on the drive to the doctors, contemplating on each thought in my head, very dizzy too, the world doesn't stop spinning around me even when I clench my eyes shut.

'Spinning and spinning-'

"Are you alright Cas? How're you feeling? Are you feeling faint at all?" Jack questioned, looking through the mirror at the back seat with a look of concern plastered on his features. My head slowly moves to glance into the mirror, being met with a look of worry and a slight increase in speed.

"I-I'm fine, sir" I responded, forcing my smile. I can't do anything more, I am starting to feel faint. He stopped the car as we arrived just outside the doctors surgery.

"You seem deep in thought, is something concerning you?" He asked, smiling reassuringly, turning in his drivers seat to face me.

"It's just-" I paused, mulling it over.

Do I trust this man with my personal concerns?

"Yeah?"

"I'm worried about Lucia and Jess" I spoke after a moment, glancing out the window, trying to stop the tears threatening to fall.

"Why is that, darl?" He pried cautiously, taking a right hand turn into the brand new Doctor's surgery.

"I had defended Jess as long as I had been there, and so did Lucia. Lucia is being moved to an orphanage in LA and I am now with you, which has left no one to protect Jess" I replied, the tears welling up in my eyes that I didn't realise I had been fighting.

In silence we both got out of the car, however, he came to my side and hugged me tightly, reassuringly. I sniffled into his shoulder and relaxed into his hug while he rubbed my back, reminding me it is going to be alright, everything is going to be alright.

He finally got me to calm myself before we entered into the doctor's surgery. Jack explained to them what happened, and they told me to come through after a few minutes in the waiting room.

"I will be here when you come out, okay?"Jack told me,  smiling reassuringly and patting my back gently. I nodded as I walked into the doctors office, sitting down on the pristine clean bed. They injected me with a few needles to make sure it didn't become infected and wrapped it with fresh bandages, finishing with anti-infection cream, which I chose to call anti-septic cream as a joke. I walked out with the bandage wound around my hand tightly. Jack looked at it and titled his head, giving me a look of reassurance and a thumbs up.

"Hey Jack" I asked suddenly.

"Yes Hannah?" He replied.

"What should I call you?" I asked him on the car drive.

"Whatever you like, I don't mind...you can call me Jack or Sean or Dad, I don't mind" He whispered, a little nervous. I considered this for a moment.

"Okay...Ill start with Jack, if that's alright" I smiled happily. I could see a big smile spread across his face.

"Of course! Whatever is comfortable" He grinned. "Do you want to go to the shops to get you some things? I couldn't help but notice, your bag was quite light" Jack suggested.

"Yes please!"

"What happened to your things? If you don't mind me asking" He asked. I remained silent for a moment, filtering my thoughts. If he is my adoptive Father now, I should tell him. "I lost them...in a bus accident. I lost everything..."

"I am so sorry Cas, I had no idea" He breathed, watching me carefully.

"It's alright, you deserve the truth."

"Here we are" Jack announced suddenly, attempting to steer the conversation. Exiting the car, we both made our way  towards the entrance of the shopping centre. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a young child, who is obviously not being watched, run across a busy road. Just as she is about to be hit by a car, I darted and picked her up, jumping out of the way, and fall backwards onto the path. Her parents came running out of no where, and grabbed her.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!" Her Mother cried, hugging her daughter very tightly and repeating her thanks. I smiled, reassured her it was alright, and casually strolled back towards Jack, who was standing with his mouth agape at me.

"Are you coming?" I asked with a grin, walking towards the shop doors. He caught up to me, still shocked.

"You just saved that kids life! Incredible!" Jack laughed, finally.

"I couldn't just let a young child be hit by a car now could I?" I responded calmly.

"That's not exactly a little thing around here, you're a local hero" He smiled proudly, patting my back gently.

"Okay, you look at clothes, and I will be right back" Jack said, walking off. I went into the clothes store. I picked out 2 pairs of high waisted jeans, 1 black trench coat, 1 light brown trench coat, some t-shirts and crop tops, some boots, some converse, a pair of sneakers and a dress for special occasions. Jack walked in.

"I thought you weren't girly?" Jack joked, smirking kiddingly.

"I got the dress for special occasions....just being realistic" I laughed. I went to pay with the little money I had, but he took my wallet away and paid for the items himself. "Thank you so much for paying for all this, it means a lot to me"

"That's alright! I'm more than happy to" He then handed me a bag.

"What is this?" I asked inquisitively.

"Just open it" Jack giggled excitedly. I looked in the bag slowly. A Rose Gold iPhone 6s!

"Is this for me?" I asked him in shock.

"Of course!" Jack responded, smiling excitedly. I hugged him tightly.

"Thank you so so so much for this Jack, it truly is amazing"

"It's alright Cas....you're my daughter, I have to spoil you a little bit!" He laughed. He them handed me some money. "This is for your...uh...personal girl things that you may need" He smiles, blushing very slightly. I went off to buy said things while Jack scrolled through his phone. I finally came out with my ladies things in a bag. "Ready to go?" He asked me

"Yes I am" I replied, grinning.

"Do you like shopping?' He asked me out of curiosity as we walked out

"Not in the slightest" I replied laughing. He put his arm on my shoulder

"We're going to get on very well" He laughed smiling brightly.

"I certainly think we will!" I replied, hugging him tightly.
