(Sleipnir's POV)

It just happened so fast. In an instant all hell broke loose. Runa, Fenrir, the entire student body and I were looking out the windows and see an apocalyptic scene.

Fire everywhere, massive spaceship things the size of a kingdom speared the ground, buildings crumbling, screams could be heard for miles. Fighter jet type aircraft a launched from the massive alien constructs like bullets shooting out of a minigun. Explosions dotted the landscape. A massive airship fleet flew overhead.

For the first time in my life, I felt true fear.

(Fenrir's POV)

"Evacuate the school. Even if this place looks like a safe zone, it won't be if they decide to carpet bomb the entire district." I say.

"I'll go with you." Sleipnir replies.

"You'll need to go with the evacuees." I say.

"No way in hell will I let you disappear again." He says.

"Whatever you want to do. I won't be responsible for your death." I say.

"You won't need to worry." He replies.

I then place my pistol in my holster, my katana in my hand with the chain wrapped around my arm, and my crossbow on my back.

I notice Sleipnir having a pistol in his holster, his Broadsword in its sheath, and his beam rifle in his hands that was equipped with a scope.

"Ready?" He asks.

"More than ready." I reply.

"I'll come along as well."

"Runa... You DO know it's dangerous out there, right?" Sleipnir says.

"Of course! But I can provide support since I'm a Light Elf!" She says.

"Hey Fenrir, help me out here!"

I then turn my back and face the battlefield.

"It's up to her own decision." I reply, running to the battlefront.

"Fine, lets go." He says, running by my left and Runa behind in the middle.

In no time at all, we were on the top floor of an office complex on the battlefront.

"Keep formation. Runa, stay with Sleipnir." I say.
