After the assembly we are sent to our home rooms to meet

our home room teachers. I walked into room seven. I sat down in

a seat close to the door because I like being early to everything

and I can't stand being late. Even to things I don't want to go to at

all. So I sat in a seat close to the door. I watched observantly as

people flooded into the room. There are four of the new kids in

my homeroom. Kelly,  Maddie, Monica, and Toby. Kelly sits

behind me and Maddie sits next to me. Monica and Toby sat a

row over. Maddie was looking at me nervously and I gave her a

warm, comforting smile and said "Hi, my name is Lillian Hunt.

What's yours?" Even though I knew what it was. I was just being

polite.

       She gave my a small smile and said "Maddie West. And that

behind you is Kelly Hall." She replied gesturing behind us.

      I turned to look and gave her a warm, comforting smile too.

      She smiled back and said "Hi."
     
      "Kelly and I came from Lononian High. As did Brenda Jones,

Josh Ughson, Vinnie Porter, Samantha Murray, Sadie Thomas,

and Elliot Parker." Maddie tells me and I turn back to look at her.

       "Really? All of you? Why?" I asked confused.
 
       "Our school had to be evacuated and torn down for some

reason. Some say it's because there was a poisonous gas bomb in

the school and that the toxic chemicals obsorbed into the walls

and stuff." She replied.

       "Wow." I said shocked. After that the teacher quieted us to do

attendance and stuff and introduced herself as Mrs. Kinder as in

kin der not kind er. Then we went around the room and had us

say our names, something about ourselves, and something

interesting we did over the summer. And that's basically all we

did until lunch which wasn't too long.
