Commentary I made before this part:
Okay part ten might actually be one of my favorite chapters! Y'all ain't gonna expect what I have in store for part 11 🤭

You remain like that for a while before you both drift asleep. Thankfully, you don't dream the rest of the night, your brain giving your body a break from the horrors.

The morning sun rays barely peek from the window and you slowly wake up to your friend rocking you in their arms. You grip tight to them and hold on as they comfort you. Eventually, you pull away, but they can tell something is wrong.

"Y/n, if it's not too much to ask... what happened last night?" Your friend gazes at you, concerned sympathy on their face. You freeze up, the vivid image from last night replaying in your mind. You shudder, but manage to get the words out.

"I was in an empty void. All I could see was a wooden desk with a lamp illuminating a book on it. I opened the book and..." You squeeze your eyes shut, hyperventilating as tears crowd your eyes

"Hey, hey, hey, you don't have to tell me if it's too much." They pull you back into them and wipe your tears, calming you down.

"I-I opened the book and... it was text, written in bl-blood." You take a deep breath. "I-it said 'I will get you no matter what I have to do.'" Your voice falters and the tears return. Your friend stares in shock for a moment before comforting you.

"I don't know what to say, but I promise I am here for you. You can cry all you need. Why don't you try to fall asleep and I'll order us some food. We can just stay in for the day, okay?" You nod and snuggle into their chest, falling asleep to the sound of their heartbeat. Just before you pass out, you hear them murmur something just barely legible.

"I'm so sorry, y/n..."
