Forty- seven.
"What are we going to tell the family?" Anna asked Scott while he helped her dry her hair with a towel as she is seated on a chair.
"We're going public with our relationship." Scott dabbed her long hair with the towel.
"What about your father? Do you think he'll accept me?" Anna knew Rhonda would open up whole heartedly but... Ethan? She doubted.
"Sweetheart my dad's opinion is not needed. It's you, me and our baby girl." He said, placing a kiss on her head.
"You don't think we're rushing into this, do you?" She asked him.
He faced her directly, squatting on his toes. Scott took her hand in his and kissed it. "Say the word and we would get married. We've already lost so many years and I can't afford to lose more. I want to spend the rest of my life with you Anna." He said to her with all honesty.
She stared at him and soon tears began to swell up in her eyes. "I can't believe it." Anna let the tears fall down her eyes.
"Oh sweetheart." He got up and hugged her. "What's wrong?"
"I-I grew up hating you so much that I forgot everything about us. I just wish I could take everything back so that Isla could have met you sooner, I'm so sorry." She cried uncontrollably.
"It's okay. Baby it's okay." He hugged her like he didn't want to let her go. "It was all my fault. What happened back then had nothing to do with you. It was all me. I should be the one saying sorry to you sweetheart." Scott felt so sad for making her cry. He didn't want to be the reason she'd cry again. She did go through a lot because of him but now he wanted to make everything right.
"Scott I love our daughter so much yet I couldn't give her the one thing she wanted. You. She wanted you. I was just scared that you'd hurt her, or maybe not want her, I thought I was only protecting her. I didn't mean to keep her away from you." She cried in his embrace.
"Baby you did good raising her. I would never trade both of you for anybody else. I'm sure, Isla is going to grow to be as strong as you are."

Anna was finally dressed in a sequin tiered long sleeve tulle black dress. She looked stunning and gorgeous in it even though it was brought in at the dying minute.
Scott held Isla's hand, preparing to walk down the grand stairs with her.
"Will there be cameras too?" Isla asked him.
"Yeah." He noticed her discomfort. "Hey," He bent to her level. "What is it sweetie?" Scott stroked his daughter's hair.
"I don't know, maybe I want mommy to come up here and walk down with me." Isla frowned sadly.
"Your mom is gonna be right down at the foot of the stairs waiting for you or do you want me to carry you?" Scott suggested, caressing her cute face.
"No I'm good." She shook her head.
"I promise I'd hold your hand, and stay by your side for the rest of the night." He assured his little girl. "How about that?"
"Okay." Isla smiled at her father.
"I've got you." He pecked her forehead before helping her adjust the pure diamond tiara he had customized for her. It wasn't an ordinary tiara as it spelt out her name— ISLA. The tiara was about 2 million dollars to craft, not to mention the 26 million dollars Yacht he had gotten for her as a present. Scott intended to spoil her for the rest of his life and didn't care what anyone thought.
"I feel better." She nodded.
"Okay, but if you change your mind about going out there, I'll gladly take you to your room and snuggle close to you." He said, grinning at her.
"And then mommy would join us, right?" Isla liked the idea.
"Of course, sounds even better!" Scott laughed. "Are you ready?"
"Yes." Isla smiled at him.
"Come here." He pulled her into his warm embrace. "You know I love you Isabelle, so much. More than you can ever imagine."
"And I love you too daddy." Isla felt the comfort and she knew she was loved dearly.
They both walked down the stairs while everyone sang the traditional birthday song for them. Scott was dressed in a navy blue three piece tuxedo with his italian shoes that sparkled. There were reporters covering the grand event which was mostly dedicated to Isla as she was being introduced to the world, officially part of the Ontarios and Scott's daughter.
The night was perfect as there were fireworks display in the open sky, a gigantic cake of almost 20fts. All guests were dressed formal but stunning and expensive. Everyone was surprised that Scott had a daughter. People were more curious about Isla than Anna.
"My feet are killing." Anna complained as squirmed in her shoes while walking.
Scott had been so busy talking to fellow business partners that he had little time for Anna but when he saw her pass, he couldn't help but politely excuse himself to meet her.
"Not so fast baby." He swiftly grabbed her hand, making her bump into him.
"Oh!" Anna collided with his body. "What are you doing? Everyone's staring at us." She noted when she scanned the room and noticed a lot of eyes looking at them.
"Let them stare." Scott smiled down at her. "So, where were you heading?" He encircled his arms around her body.
Anna stiffened, looking shocked by his gesture. "Scott..." She whispered. "Everyone is looking at us." She sing sang to him nervously in a hush tone.
Scott looked around him and noticed, but he shrugged, pulling her closer. "Yeah, so?"
"So we shouldn't be doing... This?" She was uncomfortable with the eyes on her.
"We are a public item already. They are staring at us because we're the most beautiful couple in the whole room, you should be honored." Scott said to her.
"My shoes are killing me." Anna felt discomfort in her toes. "Ow."
Scott looked down at her shoes. "It is pretty." He said. The next second, he swooped her up in bridal style, taking her by surprise.
"Jesus Scott!" Anna's arms flew to his neck. "What is wrong with you?!" She said, raising her voice higher than normal.
"Relax." He chuckled.
"You want me to relax?! Everyone is staring at us! Not to mention your dad who is staring daggers at us!" She said the last part quietly. "I have never been so embarrassed in my life." Anna turned her face from the audience, burying it in his chest.
"You have nothing to worry about sweetheart." Scott assured her while walking away.
He carried her into a private sitting room, placing her carefully on a chair. "Let's get them off your feet." He sat beside her propping her legs unto his laps before removing the shoes off her feet. "Look how cute your toes are." Scott kissed her toes.
"No, don't do that. It's dirty." Anna tried to pulled her feet from his touch but he held it firmly.
"Not to me love." Scott chuckled lightly as he masaged Anna's feet. "Where hurts?" He asked sweetly.
"Here. And here. Here too." She pointed at all the aching spots on her feet.
While he massaged her feet, he gave it slight kisses....
Anna stared at the man in front of her massaging her feet. Her staring made her get emotional! Her best friend... It was obvious that he was still the same person, he didn't change, he grew... But he didn't change. And she loved him even more.
"I love you." She whispered to herself but Scott looked up at her.
"I love you too." He whispered back to her.
Anna crawled up to him, planting a small kiss on his forehead. "I love you."
He caressed her face. "I know. And I love you more than I can ever imagine." Scott kissed her, pulling her closer.
"This is crazy." She said, smiling against his lips. "I never thought this would happen."
"I never stopped loving you Anna Yolanda Windsor." Scott inched away from her lips. "I love that you made me a father."
"She looks just like you. I'm jealous." Anna kept smiling at him.
"Don't you think she deserves a sibling?" He grinned, placing a kiss on her cheek.
Anna laughed. "You think so?"
"Yup! The best present you can give Isabelle and I."
"You want another baby?" Anna pouted.
"A baby with you." Scott kissed her nose.
"Why?" She gave him a happy but questioning look.
"Because I don't want to miss out on parenting again. I want to watch our baby take his first step, say his first word, throw his first tantrum, say daddy, ." He answered as sincere as he could.
Scott stared at the woman he loved, he was mesmerized by everything about her. Months ago, he wasn't even sure he wanted to be a father! He had double minds on what would happen if Isla turned out to be his. But... Here he was with the love of his life beside him and his amazing daughter who he loved more than his life. How did he get here? He was even thinking of having another kid?! If his future self had revealed to him everything, he would never had believed and might have called it insane and stupid.
She stayed silent for almost a minute. "Can I think about it?" Anna didn't want to make a hasty decision just because she was presently over the moon. "We don't wanna rush into it."
"Take your time." He nodded, flashing a smile at her.
Just then, Scott's phone rang. "One second." He kissed her before picking his call. "Hello?" Scott couldn't wait to end the call so that he could ravish Anna. But then, his mood suddenly changed as he went pale instantly.
"Sc-Scott? Hey Scott what's wrong?" Anna frowned when she notice the color drain from his face.
Scott frowned back at her without saying anything. It was the way too familiar voice he knew well. Then, the words that sunk into his brain were....
“I am pregnant Scott. And it's yours.”
