Mia's POV

Camelot Six Weeks Ago...

"Wow," I sighed as I walked into Camelot with everybody. "Wow is right," Charming said. "Mia, it's like a prince castle!" Matt exclaimed as he got happy. "I'm so not dressed for this," Snow sighed. I looked around in amazement and saw Henry staring at me. He reached for my hand and our hands intertwined as we continued walking.

A man rushed up and said, "His Royal Highness, King Arthur." Arthur smiled and the man rushed away. "And now allow me to introduce the loveliest creature in all of Camelot... my Queen, Guinevere," Arthur told us as a lady walked up. "Your Majesty," Snow said.

"The pleasure is ours. We have been awaiting your arrival from the moment we heard Merlin's prophecy," Guinevere smiled. "Well, we hope you haven't been waiting too long," I said. "Only a decade or so," Arthur replied. "Ah, sorry," Charming chuckled. "I'll wager it's been worth the wait. And as a bonus, it's given us more than enough time to prepare a ball in your honor tonight," Arthur told us.

"We don't have time to waste on a bloody dance!" Hook exclaimed. Emma whispered something but Hook didn't calm down. "I'm not willing to take that chance. Your Majesty... When are we gonna start our quest to find Merlin?" Hook asked. "Wh... find him? We don't need to find him. We know exactly where he is," Arthur told us.

We followed Arthur to a garden with a giant tree standing in the middle. "So, the most powerful sorcerer in all the realms is stuck inside a bloody tree?" Hook asked. "I said the same exact thing the first time I stood there," Arthur chuckled. "And you think we can get him out?" Emma asked.

"Oh, we don't think... we know. Merlin's prophecies are never wrong," Arthur told us. "Why are you so eager to free him?" one of Arthur's Knights asked. "Our home is being threatened by... It's called the Dark One," Charming answered.

"The Dark One. Yes, we're well aware of that demon. That is bad. Well, I pray Merlin can help. But, first, we must free him from his prison. It is said one of you is the Savior. So which of you is it?" Arthur asked.

"I..." Emma started but was cut off by Regina. "I am the Savior. I'm the one who's going to free Merlin from that tree, and then we can take care of the Dark One. And all go home," Regina said. What is she doing?

"Did Merlin have place that he worked? Like a room or place?" Snow asked. "He had a tower. I will show you it," Guinevere told us. We followed her to a castle filled with tons of books, she then left and we started looking around.

"Merlin's tower. There must be something in here to help get him out of the tree," Regina said. "Never do that to me again," Emma spat at her. "Clearly you two need to work some stuff out so we are all just gonna give you some space," Snow said.

We all agreed and walked out. "The ball is soon, so I need to go put the baby down for a nap and get ready. I'll see you all tonight," Snow told us. We nodded and her and Charming walked off.

"Matt, come on. Let's go get ready," I said. "Okay," Matt smiled. I grabbed his hand and kissed Henry on the cheek before walking off. That's how two and a half hours later I was all dressed up and ready for the ball.

I was wearing a big gold dress with silver trimmings. I had even curled my hair. Matt came running in yelling, "Let's go to the ball!" I chuckled and went over to him. I grabbed his hand and we opened the door. We made our way to the ball and they announced us.

"Miss Mia Sanchez and Sir Matt Sanchez," the announcer said. Matt and I walked down the huge stairs and into the crowd of people. I looked around until I saw Snow and Charming. I walked over to them and they smiled at me.

"Mia, you look gorgeous," Snow told me. "Thank you. You look amazing!" I exclaimed. I looked down at Matt and saw him not paying attention. I followed his gaze and saw that he was looking at a girl around his age. "Go talk to her," I told Matt.

He looked up at me and asked, "But what if she has the L word and gives it to me? I don't want lice!" I chuckled and said, "I don't think she has lice." He looked at me and then at the girl. "Okay," Matt said. He let go of my hand and walked up to the girl.

I turned back to Snow and Charming and asked, "Have you seen Henry?" They shook their heads. I sighed and went to go find him.

It was half way through the ball and I still couldn't find him. Where was he? I then saw him and my smile grew. I started to walk up to him when I noticed someone with him. My heart started to break. It was a girl. They were listening to music together really close. They were talking and laughing and I've got to say, that girl was beautiful.

I felt tears start to form, but I pushed them away. I turned around and found Snow. "Hey, can you bring Matt back to my room later?" I asked. "Yes, sure. Are you okay?" Snow asked me. "No..." I whispered as I wiped away a tear that had escaped. Snow looked at Charming and they came to a silent agreement.

Charming walked away and Snow took my hand. "Let's go somewhere private," Snow told me. She guided me out of the castle and into the garden. We sat in front of the tree that was Merlin.

"What's wrong?" Snow asked. "It's Henry... I saw him with another girl," I told her. "What were they doing?" Snow asked. "They were really close and listening to music. They were talking and laughing and they looked like they were having the time of their lives," I explained.

Snow frowned. "That could mean anything. Maybe they're just friends," Snow suggested. "Didn't look like it," I whispered. I felt more tears and closed my eyes. Memories flashed before my eyes and I felt awful. "Why does this always happen to me?" I asked as I shoved my face into my hands. "What do you mean?" Snow asked me.

I wiped away my tears and said, "It started out a couple of months before I came to Storybrooke. I had met this guy, Zach, and we really liked each other. We hung out all the time, kissed a couple of times, and he even told me that he loved me. I thought he meant it, but he didn't. I found him one day talking to my best friend, Sarah. They talked and laughed for a while. I left thinking that it was nothing. I was wrong. They didn't talk to me for days. The next thing I knew they were dating and Zach acted like he never even knew me. He left me and Sarah became my ex best friend. Zach was my first love... I trusted him... And he left me... I can't loose Henry too. He means everything to me. I love him way more than I ever loved Zach. I lost everything. My family, my life, and my friends. The only things I have in my life are Matt and Henry. I've lost so much.. I can't loose Henry too."

I looked over at Snow and her eyes glistened. She stayed quiet and all of a sudden I was caught in her embrace. I was shocked but then held on to her tight. I started crying and I let everything out. I let out all the tears I had from my parents death, to loosing my life, to loosing my life, and the tears I had when I saw Henry with that girl. I held on to Snow and she held on to me as long as I needed.

Storybrooke Present

"Emma Swan, Emma Swan, Emma Swan," Henry chanted. I squeezed his hand in reassurance. "Henry, Mia," I heard. We turned around and saw Emma. "Mom?" Henry asked. She reached toward us, but we pulled away. "You don't have to be scared of me," Emma told us.

"What happened? Why are you like this now?" I asked. "It's complicated," Emma sighed. "I'm sorry, Mom. Whatever happened in Camelot, I'm sorry we failed you," Henry sighed. "I know what I said last night, but, Henry, Mia, you didn't fail me. Everyone else did," Emma explained. What? What does she mean?

"Get away from Henry and Mia," I heard Regina spat as she walked up. "What's the matter, Regina? Are you afraid Henry and Mia will learn the truth about what happened in Camelot?" Emma asked. "If the truth is so important to you, why did you erase our memories?" Regina asked.

"It's a curse, Regina," Emma said in a 'duh' tone. "I know, but what I can't figure out is why," Regina stated. "If I wanted you to know, I wouldn't have erased your memories," Emma said. "You know we won't stop until we get them back," Regina told her. "It's not going to happen, Regina, because I did learn from you, and I built this curse without the one thing you need to break it... A savior," Emma said.

"Hmm. Well, we'll find a way. We always have," Regina told her as she smiled at us. "Yes, with me. Now you're on your own," Emma pointed out. "You can do it, Mom. You can be the Savior," Henry smiled at Regina. "It's not going to happen," Emma stated. "You don't think I have it in me?" Regina asked.

"I know you don't," Emma answered. "Well, you're wrong. I can protect this town," Regina said as we started to walk away. "We'll see about that, because there's a problem headed to Storybrooke that only a savior can solve. It's too bad there isn't one," Emma called out.

We walked away as I looked back and saw that Emma was gone. I wonder what se was talking about before? What did everyone else do?

Later that night, we all went to Granny's. Henry, Matt, and I sat in one booth. Henry kissed my forehead and I smiled. "Matt, what do you want to eat?" I asked Matt. "I want a burger with fries!" Matt exclaimed.

I chuckled and sighed when I started to get up. "You sit down, I'll go get Matt's food. You want anything?" Henry asked me. "Grilled cheese please," I said. "With fries?" Henry asked. "With fries," I smiled. He kissed me and then went to go order our food.

"Ew, you and Henry still got the L word!" Matt exclaimed. I chuckled. "Can you give the L word to more than one person?" Matt asked. "No, why?" I asked. "Cause I thought Henry and that girl had the L word too," Matt explained. He pointed behind me and I saw Henry talking to this girl.

They laughed and turned on the jukebox. Flashbacks of Zach flashed through my mind. I remembered how Matt was in front of me. I had to stay strong. "Do they?" Matt asked. "Um.. I... Don't worry about it," I told Matt. He stared at me confused for a minute.

He then looked away and saw Roland. "Rolo!" He yelled. That was his nickname for Roland. He got up and ran over to Roland. I looked down at my hands and went tears. I felt someone staring at me, so I looked up. I saw Red staring at me, almost as if sensing I was sad.

I gave her a weak smile and nodded towards Henry and the girl's direction. Red looked over and then back at me. She looked at me with sympathy. I sighed. A couple minutes later, Henry came over. "Something wrong?" Henry asked.

I gave him a weak smile and lied, "It's nothing. Everything's fine."
