So I just ordered the Hamilton Revolution book off amazon and I went downstairs to ask my dad when it would come and he said

"It says that Hamilton wasn't gay"

Me: "yeah he wasn't he was bisexual"

Dad: "cuz that's a thing1!!1!1"

Me: well he had a sorta boyfriend pretty much boyfriend anyways when is the boo-

Brother: it was 200 years ago he did not have a boyfriend

Me: people could be gay 200 years ago wtf

Brother: do you have proof

Me: idk ask the historians who spend like years researching this shizz but obviously they're wrong!1!11 yes there are letters

Brother: they could've just been really good friends

Me: well they were best friends but then they went all gay on each other so

Dad: they're not gay that's stupid

Me: ooOooOh my dad and brother are scared that a founding father of America was a bisexual??? We're Australian why so homophobic?

Dad: it's disgusting

Me: well one of the founding fathers was a rapist and had a 14 year old sex slave and owned thousands of slaves. Which is more disgusting?

Dad: he wasn't gay

Me: *walks out* HE WAS BISEXUAL

Brother: I'll only believe it if there are dick pics

Me: wtf that sounded wrong but A) it was the 1700's I don't think the term "dick pic" was around. But he did send a letter to John Laurens saying "mind you do justice to the length of my nose and don't forget that I never spared you of pictures" so Laurens saw his dick and if that's not gay enough for you I've memorized like a ton more of their letters"

And I just walked out. Some of that is probably not exactly what I said bc I couldn't remember every bit of it but it was along the lines of what I said. Anyway I found it funny how stupid my family is lol
