Ok this is gonna be told in 1st person I've just started writing so I'm trying to get into the hang of not accidentally moving between them.
Alex's POV

I wake up on John's chest inside our pillow fort from last night, looking up to see he is already up and on his phone. Probably scrolling through Instagram.

"Hey baby girl" John ruffles my hair.

"Hey! I have to fix that now " I groan getting up to check my phone.

HamandCheese: ayeee I'm up what's new

AlexanderLaurens: y'all are ahead of yourselves

JohnHamilton: idk about you Alex but this one suits me, I could work with this.

AlexanderLaurens: ok I do agree, I like mine as well

pegGAY: so what's the colour scheme for the wedding?

Before I could answer with a comeback joke, I hear a knock on our dorm room door, I shake my head at Laurens and slightly and kiss him on the forehead, telling him that I'll get it.

I see a woman with dark brown curls and wearing red almost everywhere, accompanied by bright red lips.

"Hi I'm Alexander you are?-" I get cut off from my introduction by the girl throwing me on the bed and kissing me vigorously.

John screams in surprise, scrambling to pull me off her her and I push her off as hard as I can with our harming the woman.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" I shriek, hastily wiping the lipstick off my face as John protectively hugs me.

"I'm so sorry I- I-" the woman in the red dress bursted into tears falling on the floor.

Surprised by the sudden burst of sobs John and I look at each other questioning what to do.

Laurens hesitantly goes to her side. "Are you ok?" He asks, being wary of the distance.

"No" she sobs.

"I know who can help" I text the Schuyler sisters and seconds later they're all at the door arguing who should go in first. Peggy is eventually pushed through, nearly tripping before she stops and stares straight at the girl.

"Why do you have lipstick in your face?" Angelica questions.

"Let her explain" John motions to the girl.

Peggy kneels beside her and hesitantly wraps her arms around her shoulders.

"What's up, you can talk to us"

The woman takes a gulp of air and breathes out heavily.

"I'm Maria. My boyfriend, h-he abuses me and treats me like s-shit but I I don't know what to do and I heard someone talking about how Alex was really cute and nice an caring an-and I don't know, something took over me and I instantly came and made a move on him. I'm so sorry I wasn't thinking, I can never. I deserve to be hit by my boyfriend, I should go back for punish-"

"Stay, it's not your fault, I'm sure Alex isn't mad at you and neither is John "

John and I nod in approval, we can't exactly understand her situation but we understand she's not in a good state or thinking straight.

"Is John your boyfriend? You two are very cute together. I'm glad you didn't kiss back. Just from looking at you, you somehow just seem perfect for each other. Treasure it, it doesn't come round often." She weakly smiles.

I blush at being called John's boyfriend. Have we even sorted that out yet? I push away the thought when John embraces my waist in his arms and kisses me in the side of my head, which I reply to with a quick kiss.

"Who is your boyfriend?" Eliza and Angelica spend a bit trying to help while John and I notice Peggy stares and blushes whenever Maria looks at her.

"I think Peg leg has a crush" I giggle

"It's about damn time" John replies laughing.

"Would you like to stay with us until you're given a new dorm, we're not letting you stay with him" Peggy smiles, quivering a bit.

"I really don't want to be any trouble."

"It's our pleasure" Peggy rubs Maria's back in comfort.

"I'm eternally grateful" Maria hugs Peggy tightly and blushes.

As soon as the girls leave the dorm we text Peggy.

AlexanderLaurens: U LIKE MARIA

JohnHamilton: you really like Maria

Peg Leg: ok mAYBE

JohnLaurens: ASK HER OUT TMRW

Peg Leg: I'll sort it out when you guys sort out YOUR situation.

AlexanderLaurens: fine

"So..." I mumble

"So"

"Would you? Like to be? My boyfriend-"

I'm once again cut off by a kiss but this time, it's from the only person I love.

"YES" John smiles and we turn on Netflix and cuddle up to each other watching A Series of Unfortunate Events.

"HELP" Peggy practically knocks down the door and starts pacing so fast she's almost a blur. I think about Barry Allen from the flash who is highkey cute as frick.

"Hey ahem I'm your boyfriend" John chuckles, almost reading my mind, we're both huge superhero geeks if I'm being honest.

"MARIA IS SO CUTE WHAT DO I DO!?" Peggy shouts.

Lafayette and Hercules instantly barge through the door throwing $10 bills.

"Why do we always lose these, how you say? Bets?" Lafayette grumbles sitting down on Alex's bed.

"I'm going to be poor by the end of this" Hercules retorts.

"And I'll be swimming in $10 bills, sounds good to me" John jokes.

"GUYS UM STOP YOUR BETTING I HAVE A CRUSH AND I DON'T LIKE IT"

"I relate" Lafayette rummages through our tv cabinets looking for a Disney movie to calm Peggy down.

"WHAT DO I DO!?"

"Well you do what I did, Watch Aladdin, kiss em, confess your love by talking like a guy who died over two hundred years ago, have a make out session and eat ice cream" I say, stalking Anthony Ramos' Instagram "also you look so much like Anthony ramos it's crazy John, damn he cute"

"Ok but him and his girlfriend are goals!"

"that's the relationship I aspire to be" I stare at a cute picture of them from New Years in awe.

"We'll be better"John smiles.

"GUYS" Peggy waves her hands in front of our faces. We continue to stalk his page, unresponsive.

"GAYS" she snatches our phones from our hands.

"You called?" Lafayette, John, Hercules and I say in unison. (A/N btw Alex is bi, John is gay, herc is pansexual and Lafayette is gay)

"Ok, tell her, nothing happens if you do nothing." I say waving my hands around frantically.

"Jut be like What The Heck I gotta do to be with you?" John sings, he has a really beautiful voice.

"Shouldn't you guys know that it's more complicated than that?"

"We weren't that complicated we just acted gay a lot and were like 'ooooh he's cute and gay. OOOH his personality's somehow even cuter. Damn I should date this hottie' and then it happened" I inserted the disc laf had given me into the DVD player.

"Why is stuff so easy for you guys" Peggy whined crossing her arms.

"Because they have tragic back stories that affect them later in life. They knock on their doors like 'BITCH I'M BACK' and ruin their lives at random times" Hercules says shoving ice cream in his mouth.

"Basically" John and I say. Nervous, I pull my sleeve down lower. Out of the side of my eye, I see John take see a quick glance and quickly look away.

Crap, he knows. Just pretend nothing happened.

"Ok look, we'll invite Maria over right now to hang out with all of us and maybe we'll learn how gay she is on a scale of ruler to Anthony Ramos" John chuckles. (A/N I know Anthony isn't gay but I mean it musical wise)

"Fine, thanks guys" Peggy sits down next to me and pulls her phone out of her jeans to text Maria.

pegGAY: hey Maria, you wanna come over to Alex and John's dorm? Lafayette, Hercules, John, Alex and I are watching a Disney movie and maybe you can get to know us a little better.

Maria (a/n I can't think of a name help pls lol): i'd love to, be there in a moment.

Peggy smiles and John and I quickly go to get the popcorn ready.
