Alex's POV

John and I laid back on the slightly damp grass outside where the reception was being held while we looked at the stars.

"Alex?" John asked, sounding a little concerned.

"Mhm?"

"What do you think the situation about children is? When do you want to adopt or maybe surrogate or you know, that stuff?" my husband played with his fingers nervously as he stared into my dark brown eyes.

"I'm ready for children whenever you are"

"Hey! Watchu doing?" A small voice asked from behind.

John and I instantly sat up from surprise to see the little flower girl from before, Hercules' sister.

"Hi Sharanya why are you out here?" John asked the smiling four year old.

"I like seeing you! You remind me of my papa. Mama says that he is up in the sky but I told her that papa couldn't fly" Sharanya explained, still beaming. It might not be a concern for her now but she would struggle with her father dying later on in life, sort of like what happened when I realised my father left.

"Wait. Hercules' father is dead?" John asked.

"Papa flew up to the sky 2 weeks ago" Sharanya giddily jumped up and down, her curly hair following along.

"Fuuuuuuuuuu-" I started before John elbowed me in the chest.

I opened my arms and Sharanya waddled over and hugged me tightly before doing the same with John.

"I like you two a lot. Mama drinks a lot so can I stay with you when she does? She scary when she drinks. Especially when she hits" John immediately pulled her in for an even tightet hug and kissed her on the head, tears starting to grow in his own eyes.

"Yes. Yes of course you can, your brother lives next door to us so you can see him too. All the time" John's voice started to shake and he started to hyperventilate. He was remembering the memories of his father.

"John, you're doing it again. Stay calm" John wiped away his tears and smiled,
Still hugging the girl. I lifted Sharanya up and kissed her forehead before Hercules came outside.

"Sharanya! There you are, don't disturb the grooms!" He chuckled, ruffling the small girls' hair.

"It's ok Hercules, we like her " I smiled and waved back at Sharanya before she skipped back to the door.

"Herc? Why didn't you tell us?" John asked pleadingly as Hercules sat in front of John and I.

Hercules eyes suddenly widened and his smile faded.

"We could've helped you" I added.

"You mean, about my father?" His voice cracked as he talked. "You were all so stressed about wedding planning and Alex nearly committed fucking suicide and I didn't want to ruin your wedding with my problems" he confessed, scratching the back of his head.

John and I immediately embraced Hercules' large figure in a warm hug.

"You're one of our best friends! It's important you talk to us, no matter what else is happening in our lives" I smiled and Hercules nodded his head before hugging back.

"Also about Sharanya, she asked to come over to ours a lot because your mother has been drinking and hurting her, could we possibly get her to live at yours?" John asked with puppy dog eyes. "Pleaseeeeee she's so cute! We can babysit! It'll be like baby training 101 for the Hamilton's" John begged making Hercules chuckle a bit.

"I'll try and persuade my mother to let you use my four year old sister as a training program, I'm glad you guys like her, she's adorable. Now I thought we were going to get drunk tonight!!"

"It's my wedding night and I'd like to remember it so I'll pass for a purple Fanta" I admitted.

"Yeah same dude, sorry, I'll just get myself a Pepsi" John giggled at how Hercules' frowned and rolled his eyes back.

"You guys are so lame, you've been married for a few hours not a few decades."

"We're settling into the old married couple lives!" Laurens whined.

"You're twenty two and Alex is twenty one, you're far from an old married couple but cmon let's go" Hercules proceeded to walk back inside.

"Hey, John, thanks for marrying me" I smiled ear to ear, as I twirled his chocolate brown locks that had escaped from the hair elastic that held his hair at the bottom of his head.

"My pleasure Mr Hamilton"

"Ok fine, your pleasure Mr Hamilton- hey, turn around!" I moved his body so his back was facing the amazing view of the stars and he was smiling at me. "Your freckles look exactly like the star constellations" I whispered, cocking my head. They really did.

John laughed and hid his face in his hands.

"Hey! Don't hide a priceless, stunning artwork from me!" I pulled his hands off his face and snaked my hands around his neck as I kissed him.

"Now let's go get drunk on purple Fanta and Pepsi" he laced our fingers together and we walked back into the reception room, everybody cheered as we came in.

"WHAT TIME IS IT!? CAKE TIME" Eliza, Peggy and Angelica screamed as they salivated at the sight of the sponge cake.

"Ok, ok let's do this" I said before Eliza could jump at the cake and swallow it whole.

"If you touch the bottom you both must kiss the nearest male and female!" James screamed.

"Ew" John mumbled which earned him glares from every female in the room.

"Ok, 3, 2, 1" we sliced the knife straight down the cake until it touched the bottom. I pulled Peggy in and kissed her on the check, John did the same with Sally and then he picked me up. A surprised squeal escaped my lips and he kissed me passionately before setting me back down and smiling while people cheered.

"SCHUYLER'S ASSEMBLE. TASK. GIVE OUT THE CAKE. MOVE! MOVE!" Eliza screamed as they sliced the cake into pieces. She practically threw John and I our plastic plates and cake at us like a boomerang. I took a forkful and fed it to John who immediately did the same to me.

"Holy crap this is good" I mumbled, my mouth full of white icing and sponge cake.

"Are the flowers edible?" John asked, staring at the roses on the top of the large, towering white cake.

I pulled a flower off and inspected it.

"Yeah it's hard icing" I popped it in my mouth and smiled at my husband who's cheeks were stuffed with cake.

"You look like a chipmunk" I giggled, poking his cheeks.

We turned around wen we heard the sound of glass being tapped.

John's POV

"SPEECH TIME" Peggy screamed from the wide table the maids of honor, bridesmaids, Hercules, Lafayette, Alex and I sat at. I led him back to our table and everyone else sat at their circular tables.

"John. I've been best friends with you since pre school" Peggy started as she stood up. Alex and I were in the middle of the table, Peggy next to Alex on his left, along with the rest of the Schuyler's and Theo. On my right, sat Hercules who was next to Lafayette, Sally and Vanessa. "You have never failed to make me smile. You also have never failed at being annoying. You're really good at that. I honestly love you like my brother and together, our conjoint gayness is just too much for anyone to handle. I'm blessed to be your best friend" Peggy poked her tongue out at her girlfriend, Sally, and Sally folded her arms and leaned back in her chair, grumbling. "And Alex. I met you almost 4 years ago now. Not as long as I've known John but we have grown so close. You're the closest friend I've got if I'm entirely honest. Sorry John" the room filled with laughter and I threw my arms up in the air. "MY WEDDING BRO"

"Our wedding bro" Alex corrected.

"I love you so much Alex, you're basically my platonic husband" Peggy continued.

"And he's my not-so-platonic husband" I laughed before Peggy hit the back of my head softly.

"Stop interrupting my speech dude, continuing, my favourite memory with Alex is when we climbed up the top of a tree and we talked for hours and Alex fell off onto Jefferson and broke Thomas' arm. It was AMAZING"

"That's a bit sadistic" I mumbled.

"After we took Jefferson to the hospital and wrote funny things on his cast, we went back to my dorm and played Mario kart. Which I beat him at"

"Yeah right Peggy fIGHT ME" Alex retaliated.

"Tomorrow! Your house! I dibs baby peach"

Our whole table gasped.
"Oh no you didn't Peggy" Eliza mumbled.

"I challenge you" Peggy started.

"Peggy, he's the master!" Lafayette whisper shouted at her.

"To a Mario kart....." she continued.

"someone start digging her grave" I face palmed.

"TO A MARIO KART DUEL" she screamed.

Everyone gasped and then the room went silent. "OH NO SHE DIDN'T" Angelica screamed. "OH SHIT SHE JUST DID" Theodosia exclaimed.
"This is the end of our beloved Peggy" Hercules had his face in his palms..

Alex cracked his knuckles and a stood up out of his chair.

"Alright Peggy. Tomorrow. 10am. My house. Better of memorized Ten Mario Duel Commandments by then" my husband smirked before I pulled him back down to sit.

"Ahem so the story continues. I beat Alex at Mario kart and we went to the cafe where I met Sally again and where we planned our first date and I awkwardly asked her out. We also met Alessia Cara which was awesome"

"YOU MET ALESSIA CARA WITHOUT ME!?" I groaned.

"Hey, woulda told ya if we could've" Peggy shrugged.

"And so Alex was writing a-"

"PEGGY" Alex practically jumped out of his chair and covered Peggy's mouth before she said anything else. "Hehe it's um a surprise" he laughed awkwardly.

"Alex was writing a... thing when Thomas came back up to us and started talking shit about Alex and Sally 'accidentally' spilled some hot coffee on him, anyway, that's when Alessia Cara comes in and she started singing Alex's s-" Alex once again covered Peggy's mouth, only this time he actually tackled her to the ground before picking her up and smoothing out his suit.

"Enough with the stories otherwise Peggy might talk some more and say some stuff that would ruin something. Thank you for stopping" Alex clenched his teeth before hugging Peggy and then both bursting out into laughter.

"Well, what can I say? you're welcome" Peggy winked and Alex tried to jump on her again but I pulled him back.

"That's enough stories but to sum it up. I love Johnny boy here with my whole heart and soul and I love Alex more than I can express through words. I am so happy for you two. It's been 4 years, now let's make it another 4 decades." She raised her glass, signaling for everyone else to.

"Raise a glass to freedom!" I shouted.

"Well now you're married so basically your freedom just got taken away" Peggy smiled and Alex playfully elbowed her.

"Tomorrow there'll be more of us" Alex pulled me into a deep kiss and everyone cheered.

I stared into his chocolate brown eyes and tucked away a piece of his dark hair behind his ear.

"What did I do to deserve you Hamilton?" I muttered as I rested my forehead on his.

"You're John Laurens. You deserve a billion of me and the whole universe" he kissed me on the nose and his lips formed a small smile.

"Wrong. It's John Hamilton, forever and always"

"Forever and always"

It was only then I remembered the camera people because there were so many flashes Alex stumbled back a bit.
"That reminds me! We get to see our wedding photos tomorrow!" I giggled.

"I'm going to look so hot"

"Aha right try me Hamilton" I laughed.

"Ok, Hamilton, you try me" Alex giggled poking me in the chest.

"You're so annoying"

"Yeah, you do rub off on me"

John's POV

"RAISE A GLASS TO ZE FREEDOM"

"SOMETHING YOU WILL NEVER SEE AGAIN" Hercules and Lafayette were drunkenly singing and dancing on the top of the bar while Alex and I sang harmonies from the chairs we were sitting on. It was just the 4 of us, in a bar at 2am drinking and singing.

"I MAY NOT LIVE TO SEE OUR GLORY" I ferociously screamed. "BUT I'VE SEEN WONDERS GREAT AND SMALL" I took a glance at an intoxicated Alex's pants and wiggled my eyebrows, winking, to which he floppily flipped me off at in response.

"I've seen wonders great and small!" Hercules and Lafayette repeated.

"CAUSE IF US TOM CATS CAN GET MARRIED"

"If the gay men can get married" Lafayette slurred.

"THERE'S HOPE FOR ANYONE'S ASS AFTER ALL"

"RAISE A GLASS TO FREEDOM AYEEEEEE. SOMETHING WE WILL NEVER SEE AGAIN. NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU"

"Lets have another round tonight."

"RAISE A GLASS TO THE FOUR OF US. TO THE NEWLY MARRIED OF US. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

"THEY'LL TELL THE STORY OF-"

"Well if it isn't Aaron Burr!" Alexander shrieked, interrupting our song.

"Sir!"

"I didn't think that you'd make it"

"To be sure?"

"BURRR" Herc, Laf and I grumbled loudly.

"I came to say congratulations"

"Fuck you burr" Hercules coughed.

"I see the whole gang is here" he rolled his eyes.

"You are the worst burr" Lafayette mumbled, flipping him off.

"I should go" Aaron shook my hand. "Congratulations" and proceeded to walked out.

"tHE STORY OF TONIGHT" We shouted.

"Reprise, workshop version" Alex winked at some wall and shot it finger guns while we cocked our heads as we stared at the wall as well.

"Hey look it's a broken wall" I said observing the crap.

"It doesn't matter it's only like the 4th wall in this room" Hercules inhaled his drink.

"LET'S BREAK IT SOME MORE" Alex screamed
