Chapter 4

What is up my peoples!? Here is another chapter for you, by the one and only: Sick Me. Yup, I did the skipping of the school today. So yeah, enjoy the benefits of my sickness. and for the pic, this is why John is our favorite XD

You stood there for awhile, dazed by the beautiful song the men had just sung. You  immediately snap back into reality when you hear footsteps coming towards you. You walk fast to the door and step outside of the bar. But before the door closes, you catch a glimpse of hazel eyes looking in your direction. It's John again. He flashes you a bright smile, and the door completely shuts.

Time skip brought to you by THE OTHER FIFTY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

You open the door to your house as quietly as you can and sneak up to your room. The house is warm compared to the freezing winter snow storm that's taking place outside. You flop down on your bed, recalling the events that occurred earlier that day.

You keep thinking about that one man, he looked too familiar. You know you had seen those intelligent eyes before, but where? In the end, you just decide that you had gone crazy at the bar. Another person still lingers in the back of your mind though. (SQUIP XD)

John Laurens.

The song he and his friend sang is on repeat in your head. You hum the tune of the song, until you are rudely interrupted by a conversation downstairs. You creep out of your room to hear what these people are talking about, and who they are. (I got the idea for this part from MK4292003. Go read her story, it's really good)

It's your mother. Talking to a man with a thick British accent.

"She tells me everyday how much she supports the Revolution." Your mother says. "She will help the Patriots if a war breaks out."

Your heart beats faster and faster.

"So you should take her away, and give her what she deserves."

'What she deserves.' The words ring in your ears as your brain tries to sort out what's going in here. 'What she deserves.'

That meant hanging.
