(Foxy)
I beamed as my best friend Freddy and his twin brother Gold ran over to me. Gold had his blonde hair in his face and his blue eyes shone. He wore a black hoodie and jeans. Freddy looked the total opposite. He had his brown hair neatly groomed back and wore a black t-shirt with a grizzly bear on it and black jeans. They both stopped in front of me. "Hi Fox!" Freddy squeaked. Gold tipped his top hat and sneered. "Heya Foxy." I grinned and punched him softly on his arm. "Hiya Goldie." I teased. I adjusted my eye patch, making sure to cover my left eye. When I was just 3, my cousin picked up a knife and 'accidentally' gouged my flipping eye out. My father had smacked my cousin's behind so hard he screamed bloody murder. Gold eyed my clothes. "Still don't have enough money to afford new clothes?" Gold jeered. I frowned. Sure enough, I was a complete mess. My black t-shirt had holes exposing my stomach and my brown shorts were ripped apart. "Yeah, it's hard without my mom..." I sighed, remembering when she died of cancer. My father spent almost all our money on tissues and chocolates. I shook the thoughts away as our new teacher walked up to us. "Hiya kids, my name's Mrs. Kane! Nice to meet you all." She exclaimed. Freddy held in his laugh. She was extremely perky. She bounced away, fizzing with excitement. As she was out of range, we all burst out laughing. Man, this school year was going to be fun.
