Chapter 2
(Bonnie)
I glanced around the store, taking in everything with my sharp eyes. I watched as a man snatched a bottle of beer and fled from the building. Mother reached down and squeezed my hand tightly, both of us cringing at the alarm and red flashing lights. "Please leave the building. The man has a gun. Evacuate." A male voice was heard over the loud speaker. "Lets go." My mother whispered, picking up the pace toward the doors. On the way out I saw a large red guitar. I smiled slightly. Someday I would fulfill my dreams of becoming a rockstar. I fidgeted with my chocolate brown hair as we exited the store.
A day later, my mother brought me to the dreaded place called 'school'. I scoffed. I was an outstanding student. I didn't need to go to school. I also knew things I shouldn't really know about. I don't want to mention them though. I yawned and rolled my eyes as my new teacher Ms. Johnson blabbed on about how excited she was to have us as a class. Out of the corner of my eye I analyzed the girl sitting next to me. She had shoulder length blonde hair and wore a childish ruffled yellow dress. On her feet were fuzzy orange boots. She looked a bit chubby. I scoffed. She looked like a chicken. Whatever. I was interested in finding out more about her. Possibly we could be friends.
