My laughter was filled with happiness and joy as I ran around in my front yard chasing my puppy, it was a nice golden retriever and was almost 2 years old and her name was Nina, my whole family was outside my mom,dad, my brother Joey, my brother Casper, and the my sister Ella Today has started off great, the sun shining and the birds singing nothing could make this a bad day. I was on joey's shoulders as he ran around the lawn this day seemed perfect....maybe to perfect... I know what your thinking why would a 4 year old be thinking that a day might be to perfect? Well the answer to that is....I'm a very weird kid.... I always think something bad is going to happen, my parents say it's just anxiety but I don't even know what that is. I shook my head getting out of my thoughts to see Casper throwing the dog a ball.... Nina she's like my best friend, she just makes me so happy. I smiled a bit thinking about the past year with Nina , all the memories we have together....that's when it happened, I saw the ball roll into the road... my heart stopped, Nina went to go get the ball... and, and a car was coming and it hit her.... I began to scream at the top of my lungs as tears spilled down my face. This couldn't be happening, I looked at the road to see her lifeless body on the ground.My brother put me down and I ran to the the person who hit Nina and used my tiny little fists  to pound on there chest "monster! Your a monster!" I yelled at the person, my mom picked me up and took me into the house "I'm so sorry sweetie.... I know Nina meant a lot to you" my mom said softly trying to comfort me "stay away from me!"
I yelled at her and ran to my room. Why? Why did Nina have to die.... she's was the only thing that understood me. I hoped onto my bed and cried into my pillow until I fell asleep...
