Chapter 3
"Hey, are you okay?" The first mysterious guy asks, his voice sounding familiar.
I managed to shake my head no before bursting out into tears again.
"Can we take you home?" The other guy asks also a familiarance of his voice which was much higher in pitch than the first guy's.
"No. I can't go back. I don't want to go back." I say sounding like a child.
"Can we at least take you to our place so you're out of this rain?"
I hesitated. I knew this was risky but I didn't care at that point so I just simply nodded.
They help me up and into their car and that's when it struck me. Sitting in front of me was none other than Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi. From Pentatonix. From Superfruit. I didn't scream. I calmed myself down as much as I possibly could.
Their just celebrities. I thought to myself. No big deal, right?
Ten minutes had passed and Scott pulled into a driveway. I looked out the window and I saw a huge house. I was confused because I knew they lived in an apartment. Did they move? I haven't been on YouTube in a while, maybe I had missed something.
Mitch opens the car door for me and helps me out and into their house. O......M.....G....... I am in their house I thought. Mitch directs me to the bathroom.
"Wait here." He said.
He came back shortly with a big shirt.
"Take off your wet clothes and put this on."
I grab the shirt murmuring a thank you and closed the door. This was one of Mitch's shirts. I recognized it from one of thier videos. It said vetements across the front. I internally freak out.
I did as instructed and gather my wet clothes and slip on the oversized shirt. I take a look in the mirror and see my mascara all smeared.
I look like a mess.
I wipe off as much of the smeared makeup as I can making sure I still look decent. I step out of the bathroom and Mitch is standing there. He takes my wet clothes from me and heads off somewhere. Not knowing whether to follow him or not I just walk back to where I entered and sat on one of the couches. Scott came out and sat next to me.
"Are you ok?" He asked with a hint of concern in his voice.
I looked at him wide eyed like a five year old in a candy store. He grinned and gave a soft chuckle.
"You know who we are I guess."
"How did you know?"
"By your face."
I quickly look away realizing that I still had that stupid look on my face.
"Sorry." I muttered still looking away. My cheeks burning from embarrassment.
"No it's ok. You didn't freak out when you saw us. You seem pretty cool."
I turn back to him. "Thanks." I say
Mitch returned and sat down across from me.
"Your clothes are drying as we speak, but it may take a while because I just hanged them outside because we moved two days ago and we don't have a dryer yet."
"That's fine. Thanks for helping me." I reply
"No problem girl. I'm gunna make you some tea and a sandwich. Hope you don't mind gluten free bread." Mitch said heading to the kitchen.
I smile. Forgetting the situation I'm in. Forgetting the events that had just taken place a couple hours ago.
