Old Friend's Return

Pheonix woke up with a shiver. She no longer felt Lefty's warm presence on her cold body. She sat up and saw a note on the door. She got up from the bed and went to read it.

Dear Fifi,

I've gone to meet Springtrap and Bonnie to fix my voice box. I'm sorry if I sound different and I'm sorry if you don't like my new voice. I will be back near midnight.

see you later,

Lefty

Pheonix took down the note and tossed it into the trash. She looked around the room and went to her bookshelves. She grabbed her diary and sat down with it.

Dear Diary,

Yesterday was scary. Lefty almost died! I almost died... The 'nice' Rockstar animatronics are evil. Now I have 7 people to watch out for. Rockstar Freddy, Rockstar Chica, Rockstar Bonnie, Rockstar Foxy, Glitchtrap, and Vanny. I have not seen Vanny yet, so I guess that's good. I feel so bad for Lefty, his best friend turned on him. And his best friend told lies and he got others to tell lies, and I'm guessing that's why he doesn't have any friends. He is all beaten now because of Rockstar Freddy. I feel so dull, I wasn't able to help free Lefty. Thank goodness Freddy was there. It seems like Lefty's memories haven't been erased, but he looks so different now. I hope he will be ok, and I pray that no one else will get hurt, but if someone has to get hurt, I want it to be me.

Sincerely,

Pheonix

Pheonix sighed. She felt less stressed now. She closed her diary and put it back onto the shelf. She decided to go see if Sundrop was awake. When she exited her room, she saw Gold. Pheonix walked up to the Golden Bear. He seemed to be thinking and stressing about something.

"You ok?" Pheonix asked as she sat down beside him on the bench.

"O-oh, Y-yeah. I'm f-ine." Gold said. He did not make eye contact with her.

"Something's bothering you." Pheonix said. Gold sighed.

"Well, there is this girl, her name is Cassidy, and well, she's a ghost now, but I think she is after me." Gold said.

"What do you mean?" Pheonix asked.

"I haven't been able to control certain parts of my body." He said.

"Wait. You have two ghosts?" Pheonix asked in shock and confusion.

"Including me, yes. Me and Cassidy. She has been entering my dreams more and more." He said.

"Sounds similar to Springtrap's crisis. But one ghost. Maybe try asking him after he finishes with Lefty?" Pheonix suggested. Gold looked at her and smiled.

'Sure, I'll try that. But when will he be done?" Gold asked.

"Lefty left a note saying he'd be done around midnight." Pheonix answered.

"Oh good! That's in about a minute or two!" Gold sat up straight with a more lively smile. Pheonix straightened up and smiled back.

"I must have slept in then." Pheonix giggled. Gold hugged her and Pheonix hugged him back.

"Thank you for suggesting that to me, and thank you for listening to me." Gold told her. Pheonix smiled and hugged him more tightly.

"Any time Chris." She said. Gold pulled away and stood up.

"I'll tell Lefty that you are going... where are you going again?" Gold giggled.

"Well, originally to the Playroom, but I think I'll go to the Lobby." Pheonix sat up as well.

"Alright then. Goodbye Lyna." Gold said as he started to walk away. Pheonix waved and turned to go down the hallway to the Lobby.

It took hardly any time for the familiar sight of Lefty to come into view. Pheonix was relieved to see him moving well even with all his bandages.

"Pheonix!" Lefty smiled as he sat beside her. His voice was it's usual deep and calming tone, but the only difference was that he was talking faster.

"Hey Lefty." Pheonix smiled. Lefty sighed.

"That was intense." Lefty said. Pheonix nodded in response.

"I do not want to ever see you in danger again. Ok?" Lefty said.

"I can't make any promises, but I do try to stay out of harm's way." She replied. Lefty nodded and stared forward. A small smile crept along his face.

"Remember when we first met?" Lefty said. He look at the window that he had been staring out of when Pheonix fist saw him.

"Yeah. I remember being so scared because of how tall you are." Pheonix giggled.

"You were and are so small." Lefty joked. Pheonix rolled her eyes and laughed to herself.

"Yeah right." She said.

"I mean, you are like a small fluffy ball compared to me." Lefty laughed. Pheonix crossed her arms and had a smile on her face.

"By the way. The person who took me to the room, her name is Security Puppet. She is protective over me. She calls me her 'baby'. I don't know why. We are not friends and she is annoying." Lefty huffed.

"Ok. I was wondering that. And then that clown girl who was inside the Parts n' Service, is that Scrap Baby?" Pheonix asked.

"Yes. How did you know?" Lefty asked.

"Wild guess." Pheonix shrugged. Lefty nodded and laid down on the stage.

"It's good to have a voice again." Lefty said.

"I bet." Pheonix said.

"It took Springtrap at least an hour and a half to fix my voice box. I woke up before you. I didn't want to wake you so that's why I put a note on the door." Lefty said.

"Ok. I had a decent guess to that. Also, about last night... What where you trying to tell me?" Pheonix asked, but Lefty all of a sudden tensed up and got nervous.

"J-just... The Damain thing s-said something t-to me the n-night before... D-Don't worry about i-it..." Lefty said with a sigh at the end. Pheonix sighed and got up.

"Let's go and hang out with Sundrop." Pheonix suggested. Lefty sat up and nodded. They went over to the Playroom and found Sundrop and Plushtrap coloring.

"Want to color with us!?" Plushtrap asked with his creepy smile.

"Sure!" Pheonix said. Sundrop handed her some crayons and Lefty some markers. Plushtrap handed them some paper and they began to color.

After a hour of coloring and talking, Lefty and Pheonix left the Playroom.

"Hey Lefty, I know it's early, but I'm going to bed. See you in the morning." Phoenix said.

"If you wake up during the day, keep quiet, don't wake me please, and make sure no children come into the room." Lefty said. Pheonix nodded and patted with him.

When Pheonix got into the room, she immediately laid down on her bed. When she settled in, she realized just how tired she was and fell asleep in no time.

"Not this again." Pheonix said. She looked around in the dark blue mist until she saw Damain sitting in a chair.

"Damain. What did you tell Lefty?" Pheonix said. Damain closed his book and disappear, when he faded back into sight, he was standing and looking directly at Pheonix.

"Oh, I told him to confess to you. I showed him how. If it weren't for Security Puppet, he would've been able to tell you sooner." Damain said.

"Stop talking to Lefty! He is perfect the way he is and I do not need him to do anything to make me like him!" Pheonix yelled. Damain stayed silent for a few minutes. The echo of Pheonix's voice was bouncing aimlessly through the thick mist.

"As you wish." It said at last. Pheonix growled then took a deep breathe in and let it out.

"Goodbye for now. It has been hours that you have been in here. And now I must go with my wonderful bride." Once Damain finished, it disappeared and Pheonix woke up. The lights to her room where out and Lefty was sleeping beside her. She quietly and gently got out of bed. Pheonix sat down with her plushies and stared at the door. She could hear all of th children laughing and talking. She sighed in defeat. She knew she would never be able to be a child again. She remembered how Vixie had tried to stop her from getting near Pheonix, but she wouldn't listen. It wasn't fair for Vixie to still be trapped.

A familiar accent snapped Pheonix back into reality. The voice was murmuring to itself. Pheonix gasped when she remembered who owned that voice, it was Katie! She sounded older than she was the last time Pheonix heard her speak. She got up and walked over to the door. 'make sure no children come into the room.' Lefty's voice said in her head. Katie isn't a child. He'll understand. She told herself. But Pheonix couldn't open the door, instead, she would try to talk to Katie from inside.

"Katie." Pheonix whispered from behind the door. The voice stopped talking and she hard few footsteps stop in front of the door. It took a few minutes for her to respond.

"How do you know my name? Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm Lyna, you're friend!" Pheonix whispered happily. She heard a small gasp sneak out of Katie.

"It's been 13 years since then. And Lyna is dead." Katie said.

"No, no, no. You've got it all wrong. When I died, I possessed Pheonix's body. I'm an animatronic now." Pheonix whispered back to her.

"You're kidding." Katie said.

"I'm not with a cherry on top!" Pheonix smiled. That was her and Katie's secret messag saying 'I promise I'm not lying'. Katie gasped again.

"Y-you are the real Lyna! C-can I come i-in? I want to see you again." There was a little bit of voice crack in her voice when she said that.

"Well, you'd have to be quiet, I don't want Lefty to wake up." Pheonix said.

"Who?" Katie asked.

"He's my friend. He told me to be quiet and not let a kid come in, but I thought, you weren't a kid plus you are my best friend." Pheonix said.

"Ok then Lyna. I'll be quiet." Katie agreed.

"Oh, and if Lefty wakes up and tries to either kill you or intimidate you, just get behind me and I'll explain." Pheonix said. She opened the door and saw Katie standing there. She had short hair now. How hair used to be long brown, now it is short black. Her eyes where the same sky blue and she was wearing a blue uniform.

"Y-you are tall." Katie shuddered.

"Compared to Lefty and Springtrap, and Golden Freddy, I am very short." Pheonix said. Katie stepped inside and Pheonix shut the door.

"Lyna! I can't see!" Pheonix told her to be quiet and she turned on the lights, but they where very dim so Lefty would be able to sleep.

"Wait, I thought they scrapped Pheonix." Katie said.

"No, they auctioned me. And please, call me Pheonix." She said. Katie nodded and looked toward the sleeping black bear.

"I-is that L-Lefty? Y-you never s-said he was t-that b-big." Katie trembled.

"Shh. I told you he was tall. But he is really nice when you get to know him, he almost died yesterday actually." Pheonix said. Katie's mouth dropped.

"How?" Katie asked.

"It's a long story. Anyways, that's why he is wrapped in bandages." Pheonix said. Katie nodded. She tried walking into the middle of the floor, but the dark oak wood made a CREAK sound and Lefty jumped up.

"PHEONIX!" Lefty yelled when he saw Katie. He jumped out of the bed and walked over to Katie. He towered over the 6ft 5in person.

"Lefty! Stop! It's Katie!" Pheonix said. She rushed over to Katie's side and pushed her easy in-between the 7ft 8in black bear and the 6ft 5in Katie.

"Who?" Lefty asked.

"My friend from childhood per say." Pheonix said in response. Lefty sighed.

"By 'don't let children it', I meant, don't let anyone in. They could see you and or me and report us to the police. What happens next? We're scrap!" Lefty said.

"I know, I know. I just want to see her again. Is that too much to ask for?" Pheonix said.

"Y-yeah. It's been at least 13 years since I last say Lyn- Pheonix." Katie corrected herself.

"Fine. But do not let-" Before he could finish Katie stood on the side of them and looked from Lefty, to Pheonix.

"By the way, I have a new job! I'm going to be the new night guard!" Katie exclaimed.

"WHAT!?" Lefty and Pheonix said at the same time.

"There are too many robots here that will try to kill you." Lefty shook her head. Pheonix felt uneasy about it.

"We will just have to introduce you to the ones who would kill you if you don't have a guardian first. The rest will be easy." Pheonix said.

"Glamrock Freddy especially." Lefty said. Katie gulped.

"So, you're telling me that every robot here, is alive and can talk and move like you two!?" Katie said in shock.

"Yes." Pheonix said.

"The majority of them are lost souls like Pheonix here. Others have no soul and learned to act like how they act simply by a malfunction in the system, like me and Mangle." Lefty explained.

"Ok then. I'm up for that risk!" Katie said. Then, the chime that tells the animatronics that the guests are gone and they are allowed to go, went off and all the light came on.

"Too late to turn around." Pheonix said.
