Hey, it's me, Holly. It's been a long time since the day that we last wrote in this old diary. Anyway, Gene and I are graduating this year, then we're going to college. We saved up enough to go so we finally made it. Since we were little, we knew this was our dream, and now we're living it. I'm getting ready right now, I see my cap and gown. Burgundy and gold, I still can't believe it. Gene wants to go be a chef, she's going to start her own restaurant! As for me, I'm going to be a writer/illustrator, maybe even work on some music. Gene and I have always wanted to sing, no we aren't good, but who cares, it's only for fun. But I've finally decided, I'll write/illustrate, and maybe even start a small business to watch pets. Now I'm probably going to hand this over to Gene

Hello! Remember me? We've been so busy theirs been no time to write. Anywho..... THE SHIPS ARE REAL!!!!! Esmerelda and Everest are dating, I think! YES, YES, YES, YES. DE SHIPS ARE REAL!!!!!!!! Okay I don't mean to sound weird but, I've been wanting it to happen since I was born! Hehehe..... XD. Well, it might be about time to go...... But the sad thing is, Holly and I aren't going to the same college. I haven't even told my parents that we plan on keeping some of our things here. Everest will have to stay; and so will Essie (Esmerelda). They are only 3-5 years old I believe. I even got Valedictorian! I'm even making Holly say a speech! YESSSSSSSS! Well, anyway, I think we should go..... BYE!

<third person view>
"Hey Holly, ready to go?" Gene asked. "Yeah, I guess. Hehe, Gavin is starting his third year at college. We are going from the biggest people in the school, to the lowest once again. Being a senior was fun while it lasted" Holly responded. "After today, it's college" She told her, "I know" Holly said. They left the house with their family and got in the car. They were driving and Gene was shaking. Holly was biting her lip as well. When they got their, Holly & Gene jumped out of the car and ran up to the place they were supposed to go. All the sudden, Mathew got down on one knee in front of Holly. "Holly" He said, Holly looked happy. "Will you move out of the way so Callie can see me?" He asked. Holly was upset but Gene was just freaking angry. "Callie, will you marry me?" He asked her. Callie was new to the school and she was really nice, but she responded with a "Yes!". Look who's getting married, those two. As upset as Holly and Gene were, they were happy he found love. "Gene Scott!" The principal called out. Gene walked up and got her diploma. "I've been at this school for what seems like forever now. Almost all my life, I've been here. Theirs some great memories here, and I'm glad I got to graduate with all of my friends. I couldn't ask for more" She said. It was one of the best speeches ever. "Holly Scott!" The vice principal called out. She walked up, while Gene was heading down. She grabbed her diploma and said "Thank you, for all the great memories I've had here. It's a great school and I couldn't be happier. But the thing we have to remember is that, being here, is preparing us for our lives ahead. None of us know what's going to happen next. For all we know, all of us could be broke someday. But we have to think about hope; it's always their, in your heart. So thank you, for giving me hope". She starTed to tear up, as she walked down.

Holly's POV:
I sat next to Gene, my sister, best friend, she meant everything to me. We watched until the end, and finally we walked out of the school grounds like heroes. Then we realized, we only had this summer, only summer for a couple of years. As we walked out onto the parking lot, we saw two cars with ribbon around it. One was purple, the other was teal, we looked at eachother and went up to it. Then our parents walked up to us and handed us the keys. "It's yours" He said to us. We both went to the two cars, when we climbed into the different ones, we honked out horns. I then looked behind me to see Esme/Essie. I also saw Everest in the car next to me. Just them I got an email, it was from my college, and one from Gene.

The one from college just said the basic information. But the one from Gene said:
Dear Holls,

You are my sister, never forget that. I may be going to Florida, but only for four years, we will meet again. After that, I don't know what will happen. Love you Holls!
-Genie!

I cried softly, looking over at Gene, she was too. I waved, and gave a honk. I pulled out of the parking lot and started having more, I broke down. Esmeralda sat up front with me, and meowed. I slowly began driving to my college, three hours away.

Gene's POV:
I've matured over the last 2-3 years, but that doesn't mean I don't have fun. But now was one of those times where I can't seem to focus. I miss Holly and when she pulled out of the parking lot. I didn't know what to do with my life. College hasn't even begun yet but we need to sign some things. She's going to Pennsylvania, and I'm going to Florida. I took one last look before I drive to the airport.

<3 hours and 6 minutes later>
   I arrive and they pull my car up to the back of the plane. I was taking one of the planes where you could take your car in the back and sit in the front of the plane. But I don't have first class..... Sadly. I get in the front and take Everest with me, at least I had him.... Now I just have to wait.....

Holly's POV:
     Theirs so much traffic! I needed to pick up some paperwork down in North Carolina, plus I needed an extension in my car that connected to the end of my car.... Like a truck would. I have all my furniture in their.

<Another 3 hours later>

I've been stuck in traffic for 1 full hour! Now it's just started going again, I'm not even in PA. I get their in roughly four hours and look around, not many people are here. I'm not strong, but looks like I'll have to wheel this all up. I take the extension to my car and start, not wheeling it up.

     "Need any help?" Two people ask coming up towards me.
     "That would be nice" I responded.
    "I'm Maddy, and this is Tom. He's my big brother" The girl says.
     "I'm Holly" I tell them.
  
     "Nice name. I hope you like it here. It's Maddy's first year" Tom says, helping the extension up the front stairs and inside. Maddy pushes the back and gets the wheels to go. We finally make it up to the third floor and we all fall, but at least we made it.
 
    "Wait, this is your room?" Maddy asks.
    "Yeah" I respond.
  "Hello, my roommate!" She said, hugging me. I walked into the big room, and look around. She had already decorated her side. I got the first few things, like my bed sheets, that were 'The Hunger Games' themed. I but on my covers which was Harry Potter. My pillows looked like little cats. I even had lights shaped like cats. I put my two stuffed animals on my bed and set Esmerelda down. I put up some picture frames of Gene and I up as well. I put some of my merchandise from my fandom on them. Tom helped set up bookshelves to put all 47 books on it.
    "Thank you guys" I say.
    "Your welcome; now bye Tom. I want to spend time with my new BHPFF (Best Harry Potter Friend Forever)!" Maddy said, hugging my tightly.
     "Yay" I said.

Meanwhile, with Gene....
<Gene's POV>
    I get off the plane after sleeping, and I take my morning coffee, which makes me super energetic. All of my stuff is in my car, except Everest who is on a leash while I get in the car. It only took 7 hours, and it will take 30 minutes to go to College. I get in the car and drive off of the plain and onto the main rode. I already sent most of my things up, so I only have my other things left. When I arrive, I park and put Everest on a leash, then I bolt out of the car and run towards the school, only to find out that when I trip. I look up to see nobody else, rather than Brendan.

     "Hey Gene" He said, helping me up.
     "Hey!" I responded.
    "I didn't know you go here? I thought Kevin might of told me" He said.
    "Why Kevin?" I ask.
   "Well Kevin stayed back home for a while but got excepted to work at a school to learn how to be a comedian. His brother, Nikev, became a billionaire, and now he's one of the richest people on earth,"
 
     "Wow. Hey can you help me take the rest of my stuff up?" I ask.
    "Sure" He responds, fixing his glasses a bit, and going to my trunk. Everest parked and rolled around, happy to see him. We managed to take everything up within thirty minutes. I place my Harry Potter sheets on and my Hunger Games covers. I had little pillows that looked like cookies and cake. I put up paintings Holly gave to me, and the half of the necklace that was shaped like a Harry Potter cat holding a bow. Holly and I was had half. I put up my teal bookshelf, and filled it up. I looked on my phone and looked up Holly's phone number.

<Third Person>
As Gene was about to click the call button, Holly was too. They both pressed call at the same time.
They both answered
They talked
They laughed
They cried
They ended the conversation knowing they were okay. You see, they decided to stay at college and do some activities before the year started. They missed each other deeply, and looked at their necklaces that would connect if they wanted.

    This is not the last chapter but I want to inform you!!!!!! Abbi is making the college one too! We originally did this together and now we have 3 stories that are collaborations! Also something tragic happened: my old best friends, sister, went missing in the middle of the night..... It's really sad but I don't want to say who she is so that I won't give out privacy. She ran away and Abbi, Cloe, and I are all scared! I think I should wrap it up right about now....I hope oh enjoyed it, Bye!
