Gene's intermission, you know when you take a break for a year and then go to college. I call Gene and she picks up by saying, "Hey Holls! Are you coming to take an intermission?".
"No, Should I come with you?"
"If you want! Come to the airport in 30 minutes, I made sure to get you a ticket, I'm already home, but take the plane home!"
"Okay! I'll come!"
I take my suitcase that I had pre packed, and walk out the door. I ran downstairs and outside to my car.
It took an hour to get to our house and when I walked in, Gene wasn't hugging me. I set down my stuff and walked into the Living Room to see her sitting down on the floor packing.
"You okay?" I ask, kneeling down next to her.

"I'm perfectly fine...." Gene responds lying hiding how sad she really was

"Do you need any help?" I ask, once again trying to make her feel better.

"No, I'm fine, thanks for asking" She said again.

"Gene, this isn't you. Where is the real Gene? The one who wants to talk to me?"

"Holly, this is me. The new me. I'm not that little kid anymore" Gene tells me

"What happened to being yourself?" I ask, she looks down and stays silent, "What happened to make us far apart?"

"Growing up happened, Holly" She responds to me.

"Gene, this isn't the case. We swore we would be best friends forever" I tell her, picturing the day we said that.

"Well sometimes best friends have to part for a while, that's our case" She said to me, her own sister!

"Why did I even come?" I ask her. If all she even wanted me here, why would she say that.

She stays silent, her eyebrows getting down, almost like she would yell. Her eyes squint.

"Because I thought we were friends" She says gritting her teeth.

I heard a knock on the door, Alisha comes in and Gene perks up. She runs up and hugs her, "Bestie!!!" Gene shouts.

I start getting an angered feeling inside, jealousy.

"How's packing, G?" Alisha asked.
"Okay I guess.... I'm just glad my Beastie is here!" Gene declared, hugging her again.

"Gene, I'm sorry. I guess we are too far apart, but we have to make a deal that we spend more time together. Gene I have some news..... I'm taking an intermission!" I blurt out. She runs up and hugs me

"I missed you Holls, thanks for taking my seriously this time! Yay! INTERMISSION!" Gene shouted.

Alisha's Point of View:

"Holly? I'm working on something for Gene, follow me. I need to tell you something too....." I say.

"Okay, how about our room?" Holly responds, we walk back into their room and I see the photo frame.

I close the door and whisper, "Can you keep a secret?".

"Probably, but if you steal one of Gene's cookies, you'll be in big trouble" She says.

I take the photo frame, "Can you keep this one?" I ask dropping the frame to the floor. It shatters and then I rip the picture, stomp on it.

Holly drops to the floor and starts crying, holding the pieces in her hand. The glass touches her skin and she gets a bloody scar. She doesn't pay attention into I yell, "Gene!".

Gene's POV:
I come running in from hearing Alisha's scream. I see Holly on the floor, with the broken frame.

"Hol-Holly, how could you?" I say, crying, "You betrayed me!".

"Gene! It's not what it looks like! Alisha-" Holly began to say.

"I caught her in the act, I was just going to plan a party. But she went crazy!" Alisha informs me.

"That's it, we're no longer friends! No, never! You hurt me! You really did! I-I, I hate you!" I say running out of the room and to the closet. I lock the door.

{Differant version}
"Holly! You never even cared! You were too 'cool' for me!" I say,  grabbing her shoulders. Looking into her glassy eyes

"It wasn't me!" She pleaded.

I ran out of the room, and outside; to the busy streets.

Holly's POV:

I get up and and runs towards the front door, but Gavin slams it in my face.

Third Person View:

Gene runs, and Holly lays on the ground. While Gavin is laughing, a car comes towards Gene as she's running through the street. Before Gene could notice, she's being pushed over into the sidewalk, and a man is on top of her.

"Brendan, thank you" Gene greets

"I'm Brandon. Brendan is my twin" He says, helping her off the ground.

"Thank you, oh and I'm-" She starts to say.

"-Gene! Brendan told me about you" He says. Then it's starts to drizzle, quickly turning into  pure thick rain. It began to pour, she looks up and shivers.

You see, Brandon always liked Gene, he knew her way longer than she knew Brendan. He was always jealous that his twin brother, and Gene were friends. Then they dated, he would never forgive Brendan. But now, it's his chance!
