CHAPTER TWO
⚠️POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNING⚠️
Olivia wakes up the next day an hour earlier than Bella so that she could shower in peace knowing her sister was a shower hog. Charlie seemed to be gone at work already so she didn't need to worry about running into him at this time either.
She slowly takes off her baggy clothes staring into the mirror as she looks at the scars riddened along her body that she knows will never go away.
She slowly brings her finger to trace the long scar along her collar bone and lets out a shaky breath. She moves towards her wrists that were still pink instead of the fading white color the others were. Her arms were covered in pink scars that no one knew about. She wears baggy sweatshirts and hoodies to keep the questions away.
Other little white scars litter her whole body as a never ending reminder of the worst day of her life.
She shakes herself out of her thoughts knowing it's a black hole and continues to get ready for the long day ahead.
Standing in the kitchen she pours fresh coffee from the pot into a travel mug with a cover. She knew she'd be needing it to stay awake through out the day. Coffee had become her savior in the past year, the lack of sleep caught up to her quickly.
Slowly sipping on her cup she hears feet stumbling down the stairs and already knows it's Bella trotting down the stairs like Bambi.
"Ready?" Bella questions her sister as she swings her back pack over her shoulder.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Olivia mumbles into her cup.
As they ride into the school parking lot Olivia and Bella notice all of the stares from the whole student body solely on their orange rusty truck. Olivia exits the car and faintly hears someone tease the girls. "Nice ride."
Ignoring them she walks with Bella up to the footsteps of the school when they're interrupted by a small asian boy. "Hey my name is Eric! You must be the new girls Isabella and Olivia Swan. If you ever need a tour Guide, shoulder to cry on I'm your guy!" He exclaims enthusiastically, Olivia blankly stares at the boy.
Bella stutters as she uncomfortably tries to find a way to respond. Olivia seeing this sighs silently and comments. "Just call her Bella she doesn't like being called Isabella. We're more of the suffer in silence type."
"Bella, got it." Eric nods. "So I was wondering if I could ask a few questions for the feature of you guys in the school news paper?"
"I-uh. No." Bella begins stuttering again at the thought of a whole article written about her.
"No article? Don't worry about it, I got your back." Eric winks.
Olivia rolls her eyes seeing how shallow the boy is already and grabs her sisters hand, walking away and ignoring the boy calling their names.
The two get to the main office solely from following the signs in the halls, she quietly asks the lady for their schedules.
"Isabella and Olivia Swan? Chief Swans daughters?" The lady questions with a friendly smile.
Bella lets out a small smile and a nod when she notices Olivia lack of response.
"I have Art first period and we don't have any classes together until after lunch so I'll see you then." She simply tells her sister before walking away to find her way to the art classroom.
Walking into the classroom she hands the teacher her slip. "Alright you can have a seat near Ms. Cullen right in the back there."
She turns her head and follows the small isle towards the girl with a pixie hair cut that was waving her hand in the air crazily. She sets her bag down on the side of the desk and takes a seat.
"Hello I'm Alice Cullen." Alice introduces herself with a bright smile and a knowing twinkle in her eyes.
Olivia merely nods her head and returns her cold stare towards the teacher.
Alice furrows her eyebrows in confusion. She had seen this vision a couple of years ago, meeting her brothers mate. But the Olivia in that vision had a large smile as she and Alice talked the whole class period getting to know each other. She hadn't gotten any visions of the girl since then but she only figured that the future was set in stone and that was why.
The rest of class Olivia didn't mumble a single word to Alice which only confused the vampire even more. The only thing that turned out to be true about her vision was Olivia attending Forks High school.
Through out the day she boredly went through all of her classes until lunch came around. Bella had desperately begged her to join her newfound friends so she took a seat at the round table and spaced out until she heard her sisters voice again.
"Who are they?" Her sister asked in awe.
"Those are the Cullens. They moved here from Alaska a couple years ago. The blonde is Rosalie and the big muscular one is Emmett. The weird one is Alice." Jessica gushes to the twins. The door opens once again to reveal a bronze haired tall boy with a perfectly chiveled face and a blonde haired man with a sharp jawline following in afterwards.
"That is Edward Cullen and Jasper Hale. The most gorgeous boys in the school but they act like nobody here is good enough for them. So don't even try it." Jessica exclaims with a frown and yet it sounded like a warning.
"I wasn't planning on it." Bella mumbles.
Olivia makes eye contact with Jasper and she feels a sudden pull at her heart. She blinks and pushes it all away, her eyes remaining dead.
Jasper cocks his head in confusion while staring at her. Sitting down at his families table he notices Edward doing the same but towards both the girl and who he assumed was her sister.
"I can't feel her feelings." Jasper whispers frustrated and confused. This had never in his long life happened.
They all turn their heads toward Edward when he winces and grabs his head, his stare switching back and forth between Bella and Olivia.
"What happened?" Rosalie questions in concern.
"I tried reading her thoughts, at first I didn't hear anything. I tried harder and then my head started pounding like a human headache." Edward says with a cautious stare towards the tall brunette. Yet for some odd reason he felt slightly protective over her. It was slowly starting to bother him.
"You didn't tell me my mate was a human, Alice." Jasper grits out as he smells her from the table. Her blood singing to him.
Innocently shrugging her shoulders Alice replies. "I had a vision years ago about meeting her, and nothing in the vision happened besides her showing up to class."
"Stay away from them. They're already nothing but trouble. The older one has managed to mess with all your abilities within the first day." Rosalie lowly snarls.
Both boys ignore the blonde, staring at their mates in confusion with conflicting thoughts running wild in their heads.
Olivia sighs as she sits at the table not listening to any of the irrelevant ramblings of the table. Suddenly, Tyler, a boy who had been in her maths class, comes up to the table putting his whole arm around Olivia's neck from behind with a smile. "So, you guys have met my girl Olivia?"
Olivias breathing automatically begins to pick up and the Cullens watch with curious eyes as they hear her heart nearly racing out of her chest. One Cullen is more tense than the others.
"Let go of me." Olivia harshly whispers, Bella's eyes widen at her sisters hostility.
"Oh c'mon-" Tyler begins, not seeing how serious she was.
Grabbing his forearm Olivia twists it behind his back as she quickly stands up and slams his whole body against the table.
Now everyone in the cafeteria was staring at her. "I said to let go of me." Olivia grits out in severe annoyance.
Knowing she's now caused a scene she grabs her bag and emotionlessly leaves the cafeteria ignoring her sisters calls for her to come back.
