CHAPTER FIFTEEN

Olivia sits up against the headboard fumbling with the necklace that now lays around her neck. Alice had given it to her when they arrived at the hotel in Phoenix and it warmed her heart that he had realized she had always felt safest when she was in his arms and fiddled with his necklace. She also knew the necklace was incredibly special to him because the rock was from his time and where he was from.

She didn't mean to come across as cold to him before they left, but she couldn't help it. Just when she had begun to feel safe and relaxed for the first time in over a year it was all being torn away from her.

"The tracker, he's just changed course." Alice breaks her out of her thoughts. Both Bella and Olivia look at her in confusion. "Mirrors." She mumbles.

Olivia scrambles off of the bed and snatches the complimentary notepad and pen from the nightstand shoving it into the woman's hand.

"W-what's happening?" Bella looks between the two in confusion.

"Jasper told me that when this happens she can draw it out most of the time, it might help us figure out where she is talking about." Olivia blankly responds, not even giving her sister a glance and instead staring at Alice.

"A room full of mirrors." She continues to speak as she starts unconsciously drawing on the paper.

"Edward said the visions weren't always certain." Bella voices in uncertainty.

"He said if the person changed their minds, the vision changes." Olivia quietly explains, not wanting to interrupt Alice.

"Okay, so the course that the trackers on now is gonna lead him to a ballet studio?" Bella questions with a tilt of her head.

Olivia's eyes snap down to the paper to see that Bella is indeed correct. It was quite familiar actually.

Alice finally lifts her eyes to the two and looks between them with slight panic. "You've been here?"

"We took lessons as kids." Olivia confirms.

"The school we went to had an arch just like that." Bella points out.

"Was your school here in Phoenix?" Alice questions again.

"Yeah." Bella nods, and right on que both of the girls phones begin ringing at the same time.

Bella is much faster to answer hers and Olivia slowly does the same seeing it's Jasper.

"Jasper." She monotonously greets.

"Olivia." He sighs in relief. He knew she was safe with his sister but the sound of her monotone voice had never sounded so nice. "We've lost the tracker, Edward is calling Bella to tell her the same thing."

"Ok..." Olivia responds, not sure what else there is to say.

"You and I are going to go somewhere alone after I come and get you. The others aside from Edward will keep hunting. We'll do whatever it takes to make you and Bella safe again." He mumbles.

Olivia grasps onto the necklace and silently nods her head. "Okay."

After hanging up the phone she turns to see her sister silently holding out her own phone for her. "Edward wants to speak to you." She kindly whispers.

"Edward." She slightly narrows her eyes in confusion.

"Don't die Swan." He says with no amusement in his voice.

"I couldn't follow in your footsteps quite yet now could I?" She dryly muses.

"Pretty big shoes to fill." He chuckles.

"Almost as big as your head." She deadpans, hanging up as she hears his chuckle.

Alice had gone down stairs to the main lobby to check out as the girls packed all of their stuff up again, preparing to leave.

Bella's phone starts ringing and she answers. "Hey mom, I'm glad you got my message. What're you doing home?"

Olivia lifts her head towards her sister in suspicion. "Calm down everything's fine."

"Mom are you there?" Bella's face contorts from one of confusion into complete terror. "Don't touch her! Don't!"

"Bella." Olivia takes a few steps towards her but her little sister holds her hand up to stop her.

"Where should I meet you?" She says into the phone.

After she hangs up she tries to run out of the room but Olivia slams her hand down on the door. "What just happened, Bella?"

"J-James. It was him, he has mom." She frantically tries to open the door again but Olivia slams it shut again.

"You can't go and meet him!" Olivia grits her teeth in anger. "Where did he tell you to meet him?"

"O-our old ballet studio." Bella's lower lip quivers and Olivia pulls her into a tight hug. "I'm scared, Liv."

Olivia's eyes burn and a single tear falls down her cheek. She pushes down on the pressure point near her neck and holds her sister before she could fall to the ground. "Don't worry bells. I'm gonna take care of it." She whispers into her hair and gently lays her onto the ground.

Sneaking out of the lobby was easy enough, Alice didn't seem to be paying too much attention to her surroundings, not suspecting in the least that either of the Swan twins would be heading straight for their predator.

Olivia immediately jumps into a taxi in-front of the hotel and gives them the name of the ballet studio.

The driver doesn't seem to notice her inner struggle as she clenched her fist around the necklace. A few weeks ago all she wanted to do was to die. She was ready to let everything go.

Yet here she was hoping that someone could save her before it was too late. She had grown to care for the Cullen's. Not to mention she now realized how much she'd be hurting them all and Bella after she was gone. She couldn't imagine how Jasper would feel learning of her death.

Now she was the one not ready to let go.

It's dark outside and the roads are empty as she pays the driver and exits the cab. It's eerie, knowing that she could very much be walking towards her death. But if it was to save her little sister than she would do it a hundred times in a heartbeat.

Only a few steps into the dark ballet studio does she hear her moms voice. "Bella? Bella? Where are you?"

"Mom?" Olivia mumbles to herself before she slightly picks up her pace towards the noise.

"Olivia?" Renees voice is heard again.

"Mom?!" Olivia shouts as she starts running towards the noise.

"Everyone makes fun of me."

Olivia's steps halt to a stop as soon as she hears that. She could remember that moment perfectly.

They'd been tricked.

Olivia reaches towards the storage doors with a shaky hand and slams it open. She slowly closes her eyes with an overwhelmed sigh when she realizes exactly what this was.

"Mom I suck." A young Bella pouts.

"Don't worry Bells! I'll beat them all up if they make fun of you." A young Olivia beams with a fist held in the air. A prominent missing tooth as she smiles at her shy little twin sister.

Hearing a deep chuckle from behind her Olivia spins around with narrowed eyes. Instead of finding just James she sees multiple of him through out the mirrors placed everywhere. He was taunting her. Little did he know, she wasn't afraid of much.

"I was expecting the other one." He chuckles. "But I gotta admit, that's my favorite part."

He slowly starts walking towards the tall brunette with a smirk. "Your sister was a stubborn child wasn't she? And you were always there to save her."

James places his arm against her collarbone and pushes her against the wall.

"She's not even here." Olivia grits in annoyance.

"No." He tuts. "Sorry, your sister made it too easy. So, to make things more entertaining... I'm gonna make a little film of our time together."

Olivia growls in anger as he pulls out a familiar cam recorder and turns it on, facing directly on her. "Action."

"This is gonna break Jasper's little heart." His grin widens. "And apparently Edward's too."

"They have nothing to do with this." She calmly responds.

She notices his anger continuously growing with her lack of reaction.

"But they do. Their rage will make for more interesting sport than their feeble attempt to protect you and your sister." He whispers.

Before Olivia can even speak he grabs ahold of her shoulder and throws her into one of the columns. She slightly winces as her skull smashes directly into one of the sharp corners. Lifting her fingers from her head she notices her palm was dripping red.

"I chose my stage well." He muses.

"You're a psychopath." She groans. "Why do all of this?"

He crouches in front of her and grasps her wrists when she tries to push his face away. "It's too bad he didn't have the strength to turn you. Instead they kept you as this fragile little human. And it's because I can."

Olivia opens her mouth to give him a sassy retort but before she could do so a loud crunch elicits a burning fire through her abdomen. The sound of her ribs cracking enough to finally make her scream. "Tell them how much it hurts!" He yells.

When she doesn't reply he screams in anger and throws her body into the wall full of mirrors.

Olivia's vision goes in and out and she slightly tilts her very sore neck down and notices a large piece of the mirror is lodged straight into her stomach. The sight of the blood coming from her stomach is almost enough to make her heave.

"What do we have here?" James voice, sounding much happier says.

She lifts her head and her eyes widen when she notices it's Bella holding a can of pepper spray in-front of her shaking like a wet dog.

"B-Bella go!" She coughs out, ignoring the taste of metallic blood coming from her mouth.

"O-Olivia!" Bella shouts in panic, seeing the state of her sister.

Olivia eyes roll back and her head thumps to the floor.

The next time Olivia opens her eyes she feels her head being propped up on something and her eyes flutter open.

The first thing she sees is Jasper speaking above her but she couldn't hear him. She opens her mouth to speak but gags as blood continues to fill her mouth. Her head is forcefully tilted to the side where she sees Edwards mouth latched around Bella's wrist and Carlisle crouched closely to the man tightly holding onto his shoulder.

Unbeknownst to her, as soon as she and Edward made eye contact she had snapped him out of his bloodlust enough to save Bella's life.

Her hearing crashes into her like a wave with Jasper shouting to her. "Olivia! Olivia, breathe!"

She clutches onto his bicep with as much strength as she could. "J-jazz!" She gasps out, only a second later coughing out more gulps of blood.

He hurriedly moves in front of her face blocking her view of Edward and Bella and grasps onto both sides of her pale cheeks. "It's going to be ok, you're going to be fine." His eyes are crazed as her blood completely coats his hands and arms. Her hand that was clutching to his bicep slips to his jaw, creating a bloody hand print.

"The blood..." she gurgles as her glazed eyes sluggishly roam his form with worry.

"I don't care, I don't care about the blood." He rasps out desperately. "Only you, darling. I need you to keep your eyes open, Carlisle's gonna help you."

"I- I don't think I can." She replies as her eyes start drooping again.

"Olivia! Keep your eyes on me darling." He lightly slaps her cheek enough to make her eyes open a bit more.

He looked frantic in this state. Blood cover his jaw, arms, and hands. Carlisle was working on her stomach but he knew there was internal bleeding as well.

Olivia's overwhelming pain suddenly ceases and she slightly smiles. "Nothing hurts anymore." She whispers.

"Olivia!" Jasper yells when he realizes her eyes started closing once again for what seemed like the last time.

"Carlisle!" Jaspers yell was the last thing she heard before everything went black.
