(KAZUMA'S POV)

we had made it back to Konoha. Gramps let Zabuza become a Jounin and Haku joined my team. i was eating dango when i saw a flash of short red hair. i dropped my dango and paid before sprinting out of the restaurant. i squeezed my way through the crowd following the red head. as soon as i was at least five feet away with no one in front of me i flashed stepped in front of him and tackled him to the ground in a warm embrace

"Gaara." i whispered, " i missed you Gaara, you to Shukaku." i released him and stood up extending my hand hauling him to his feet

"who are you?" Gaara asked. i embraced him in a warm hug

"Kazuma Uzumaki." i said leaning away and kissed him on his love tattoo.

"you're still cute as ever Gaara." i said, "where's Temari and Kankuro?" i asked

" i was about to stop them from attacking seven Genin." he said

"wait, seven?" i asked

"let's go." he grabbed my hand and took me to a tree. i saw Temari and Kankuro, i was itching to pounce on them

"go ahead." i pounced and tackled Kankuro in Temari and all three of us fell into a heap me on top of Temari and Kankuro giving them a death grip hug

"don't go hurting my Genin." i chirped snuggling my face in between the two

"K-kazuma?" Temari spoke first

"yep, what'd you need?" i asked

"oh my god!" Temari yelled making me wince. she hugged me back with a bone crushing hug

"Temari let her go. she can't breath." Gaara said. i felt Temari and Kankuro stiffen. i released them and skipped over to Gaara and jumped up in the tree hugging him passionately

"Gaara don't be so mean." i cooed pouting. i saw Temari and Kankuro both had fear on their faces

"um, Kuro-chan, Mari-chan why are you terrified?" i asked tilting my head to the side still hugging Gaara. before either one of them could answer i saw a flash of purple and red tackle Temari and Kankuro

"Kitty-chan, Mari-chan!" the voices of the Hanas yelled in unison. Gaara tightened his grip on me and we appeared on the ground behind the pile of four bodies. i started laughing and smiled with a cheshire grin. the Hanas looked up and gasped

"Ga-kun!" they shouted running to me and Gaara.

"no Hanas you mean Panda-kun. he's my Panda. don't take my precious or i'll bomb you." i said in a sickly sweet erie voice

"Aki, Hazumi, it's been awhile hasn't it?" Gaara asked

"yep we missed our-" Hazumi started

"favorite cousin!" Aki finished. we chatted for about ten minutes when Gaara was ready to leave

"Kankuro, Temari lets go." Gaara said, but Sasuke had to talk

"you what's your name?" Sasuke asked

"w-who me?" Temari stuttered

"no the one with the gourd." Sasuke said 'is he deaf his name was said many times' i thought

"Gaara of the Deseret, your name?" Gaara said

"Sasuke Uchiha." Sasuke said

"hey! you wanna know my name?!" Naruto yelled

"No." Gaara said and turned and walked away

"Gaara don't be mean." i pouted and ran to him

"do you guys have somewhere to stay?" i asked

"yeah, Baki got us a hotel room." Temari said

"you guys are not staying in a hotel. let's go, you can stay with me and my little brother." i said grabbing Gaara's hand and pulled him behind me looking for Baki's sent till i came to a hotel room. i opened the door to see Baki sitting at the table going through papers

"Baki-sempai, How are you?" i said walking forward and sitting across from him

"fine, but don't mind me but who are you?" Baki asked

"Kazuma Uzumaki." i said, "originally from the sand village and i'm Gaara's fiance." i saw his eyes widen

"Lady Kazuma, what do you need?" Baki asked

"gather your things staying with me while your here." i said getting up

"okay" Baki said

"i'll wait for you down in the lobby." i said and walked out of the hotel room and into the lobby

"miss, the four sand shinobi aren't staying here. i gave them permission to stay with me." i said walking to the front desk

"what! oh, Lady Kazuma, okay i'll give them their money back." the Innkeeper said

"that won't be necessary." i heard Gaara say behind me. i saw the Innkeeper tense and fear flash through her eyes. i turned and walked to Gaara and grabbed his hand

"let's go guys" i said and pulled Gaara into the busy streets of Konoha and walked towards my house. 'i'm glad i have bedrooms that are to their liking. i hoped they would come to Konoha at some point' i thought. when we got to my house i pulled Gaara through the front door.

"Naruto!" i yelled.

"what Nee-chan?!" i heard Naruto yell from up stairs

"come here!" i yelled. i had released Gaara by now and he and the others were standing behind me

"i didn't do it!" Naruto yelled and ran down the hallway

"just come here!" i yelled. i heard Naruto come down the stairs

"Nani, Onee-chan?" Naruto asked. when he reached the bottom of the stairs he stopped

"stop staring. it's rude." i said, "this is Gaara, Kankuro, Temari, and Baki-sempai. they're staying here for the Chuunin Exams. Be nice." i said and grabbed Gaara's hand and walked to the kitchen to cook

"help me cook, Gaara." i said and dug for the ingredients for stew

"so Gaara how are you?" i asked sitting beside him

"same as always. i can't sleep the village became more afraid of me after you left." Gaara said. my cat ears twitched

"do you want to sleep? if you do i could talk to Shukaku for you." i said and leaned toward him extending my hand to his forehead

"you could try." Gaara said. i placed my hand on the side of his face and closed my eyes. i felt my self enter Gaara's mind.

"Shukaku long time." i said walking up to his gate

"AH! the Jinchuuriki of Selene, Shadow, and Mommy. what do you need?" Shukaku asked

"i want you to let Gaara sleep while he's here for the Chuunin Exams." i said

"i'll let the kid sleep if you're holding him." Shukaku said

"Okay, but i stay up half of the nights. will you let him sleep if you can smell my sent from my covers and pillow?" i asked

"either you lay with him or i'll destroy your village." Shukaku growled

"you know my strength Shukaku. i can easily kill you. i could also put a collar on you with my chakura in it to where i can control you. don't tempted me one tails." i snapped back. i stepped back

"tell me your answer when you say yes to the other request of mine." i said. i felt myself drift away from Gaara's mind. i opened my eyes and saw sea foam green eyes

"Shukaku will tell me when he decides. you can sleep when i'm holding you, just like we did when we were little." i said and get up and kissed Gaara's love tattoo. i walked to the stove and mixed the stew.

"guys foods done!" i howled. i pulled some bowls out and started to fill them

"hey sis i'm eating ramen." Naruto said walking in.

"oh, okay pipsqueak." i said

"don't call me a pipsqueak!" Naruto yelled. i chuckled and turned back to the stove and started to fill five bowls of stew. after dinner Naruto disappeared and i brought Baki, Kankuro, and Temari to their rooms and brought Gaara to my room so he can sleep.

(GAARA'S POV)

'let me talk with the brat, kid.' Shukaku said

'okay.' i told him. i walked to Kazuma

"Shukaku wants to talk to you." i said

"okay come here." Kazuma said. she turned and placed a hand on the side of my face. my vision went black and i appeared in front of Shukaku's cage and standing in front of me was Kazuma with fur all over her body and the face of a wolvish panther with glowing silver blue eyes

"what Shukaku?" Kazuma purred.

"deal brat." Shukaku growled.

"good. i'll get Selene to tell Mommy how nice your being Shukaku." Kazuma said 'whose mommy?' i thought. i saw Kazuma walk closer to Shukaku's cage

"Kazuma." i said. she turned

"i'll be okay Gaara." she reassured me. she continued to the gate once she was on the other side of the gate. she placed a fury human wolvish cat paw on Shukaku's face

"Selene lend me your body." Kazuma purred. Kazuma's body shifted and grown into a giant sixteen tailed panther and started to lick Shukaku. Shukaku purred and his eyes started to droop and soon he was snoring. the panther Kazuma shrink to a normal sized panther. i t walked to me and changed again into a human, but this was not Kazuma. this woman had long spiky black hair and panther ears and sixteen tails. she also had bright green eyes with black slits. she had a black dress on.

"Gaara my name is Selene." she purred.i nodded

"it's a pleasure to finally meet my kitty's soulmate." she purred and hugged me

"likewise" i muttered

"she was right you are hot." Selene giggled purred. i blushed

"please take care of my baby. at the moment your asleep." she purred

"your baby?" i asked

"oh i took to saying that about her. you also want to know who 'mommy' is right?" she purred. i nodded

"Shadow, Yurippe." she purred

"What Selene?!" a husky male voice growled

"now Shadow, calm down." an angelic female voice spoke. two figures formed beside the panther woman. a female figure appeared. she had bright golden red feathered hair and a golden red feathered dress. the male had black short punky hair, wolf ears and nineteen wolf tails. his eyes were red with slits, and he had on leather pants, leather combat boots, black t-shirt, and a black leather biker jacket. i looked to the female again and saw her bright gold eyes

"hi." she hummed and walked to me

"your hair is so red. you must me Shukaku's host correct?" she hummed. i nodded

"can i break his neck?" the male growled

"no Shadow. this boy is Kazuma's mate." i guess Yurippe said

"sorry let me introduce these two." Selene purred, "the female is Yurippe and the emo male is Shadow."

"Selene!" Shadow growled

"stop both of you!" Yurippe commanded, "leave the boy to sleep." they faded out of my vision. then everything went dark

(KAZUMA'S POV)

after i left Gaara's mind i gently laid him on my bed and covered him up. a knock came from my bedroom door

"Kazuma-sempai, can i come in?" Temari asked

"sure." i said. she walked in

"you got him to sleep without Shukaku coming out." she squeaked. i walked to Temari and hugged her

"i really missed you Temari." i said

"well we are like sisters." she said. we talked for three hours. i told her everything that happened since i left the sand. she hugged me when i told her i watched someone like family get killed in front of me. we talked about missions we han. turns out that Gaara came back unharmed from every mission. we joked, i told her about my team, she did my hair. when she left i crawled into bed beside Gaara in my black shorts and blue tanktop and fell asleep

"tomorrow i start as a protector for the exams." i mummered
