(KAZUMA'S POV)

"i'm coming with you." Lady Chiyo said

"alright lets go. Pakkun you lead Gai's team to the area." Kakashi said. we ran out the Gate of Suna and ran through the desert

"Kazuma-sensei we'll get Gaara-chan back." Hazumi's soft voice said.

"we will get him back and i will kill what's left of the Akatsuki." i growled feeling Shadow's chakura leek to my eyes and my teeth sharpen

"you should calm down Kazuma-chan." Haku spoke gently and placed a hand on my shoulder. i felt tears stream down from my eyes

"i just can't stand the thought of losing him. Gaara's the center of my world. without him i'd lose the last of my sanity." i said my voice cracking.

(THIRD POV)

in the woods two figures sat on the ground, one female and one male, the male had blue skin and shark like appearances and the female had long mid-back spiky length black/white hair and red eyes

"Kisame shall we start." the girl said with an evil smile

"yes Midnight." Kisame said 'she's worse than Itachi.' Kisame thought

(KAZUMA'S POV)

i froze as i smelled the air. i narrowed my eyes and grabbed Naruto placing him behind me. i glared at the black and white haired female with red eyes

"who are you?" Kakashi said

"you're not going to tell them who i am Ka-zu-ma-chan." she said

"Midnight Uchiha. the Uchiha who actually slaughtered the Uchiha clan. Itachi got her to spare Sasuke's and Kaida's life. more evil than any tailed beast. she kills in cold blood. she's also known as 'The Vampire'. she drinks the blood of her kills. that's why her eyes no longer have the sharingan and is a direct descendant of Madara Uchiha." i said

"i'll have so much fun killing you all but sadly i can only kill one person and i think it should be little Sasuke." Midnight sneered, "and that damned shark got the other pathetic team."

"i'll go assist Gai's team. you fight 'The Vampire'." i said and vanished. i pulled my sword out and it clashed with Kisame's sword as i appeared in between Gai and Kisame

"stop this fighting Kisame." i said

"alright as long as i can become a Konoha ninja, Kazuma-chan." Kisame said. i smiled

"tell me Midnight's your new partner so now what's the Akatsuki like now?" i asked

"that bitch is taking it over. we all want to become Konoha ninja because of you Kazuma, well except for Tobi who follows Midnight like a lost puppy." Kisame said

"oh and how about you come yourself and we can rescue Gaara." i said

"alright kiddo." Kisame said ruffling my hair

"alright i won't put up a fight but you need to punch me with all your strength so this jutsu will cancel." Kisame said

"alright." i said. i channeled chakura into my fist and punched Kisame in the gut and he flew and hit the ground. smoke billowed from the crater and Kisame appeared beside me.

"alright everyone grab hold of my trench coat." i said

"no you head back to your team. we'll meet at the rendezvous spot." Gai said

"Kisame you come with me." i said. me and Kisame vanished and appeared in the woods outside the fight with Midnight. Midnight aimed a kill shot at Sasuke and i used the flat of my sword to stop the attack

"oh, the Shadow Assassin returned. maybe i should kill you instead so you can join your redheaded lover." Midnight sneered. i snarled and grabbed her by the neck with both hands and started to choke her. i slammed her on the ground and she let out a squeak of pain. i felt a hand grab my ankle and i was through over Midnight and landed on my back. i yelped in pain as Midnight stood with a now purple ring around her neck. she panted trying to take deep breaths in her lungs. i stood and grabbed her neck again as i activated my Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan and felt Yuri's, Shadow's, and Selene's chakura leek out

"Kazuma!" i heard Naruto yell. i turned and saw the Rasengan and i ducked as his hand slammed into Midnight's gut and she flew back and created a crater. i sat on the ground trying to calm the anger buzzing in my ears as the others spoke.

"Kazuma-chan you ready?" Haku asked

"yeah." i said and stood

"Kisame come out now." i said. Kisame came out of the woods without the Akatsuki cloak. the others got into a fighting stance. Kisame placed a hand on my head

"you did great, kiddo. i bet that bitch felt every hit." Kisame said. i sighed

"all right Kisame please stop." i said

"Kazuma what's the meaning of this." Kakashi said

"the Akatsuki are disbanding and the members are allying themselves to Konoha. but the members Tobi and Midnight are the ones you kill on sight." i said, "alright lets go." i took off with Kisame beside me

"Kisame tell me about Gaara is he still alive?" i asked. Kisame looked at the ground

"i can't answer that, Kazuma." Kisame said

-TIMESKIP-

we got to the Akatsuki hideout and Gai's team was there

"how do we get in?" Gai asked

"there's five seals. you pull them all at the same time." Kisame said

"you better hide Kisame. the Akatsuki don't know about you yet." i said

"alright kiddo." Kisame said and sunk in the water. once team Gai vanished me and Sakura got ready to punch the rock

"3...2...GO" Gai yelled through the wireless headset. Kanade ripped the seal off the boulder turned to dust as me and Sakura punched the boulder. i froze as i saw Deidara sitting on Gaara and Sasori beside him. tears stream down my face. i ran forward

"Gaara!" i cried. Sasori and Deidara let me pass and i placed Gaara's head in my lap

"Get off, Deidara." i said

"we're sorry Kazuma-chan. we had no choice, un, Tobi and Midnight were there." Deidara said as he pulled me in a hug. i cried in his chest

"i know you had to. but please don't hurt anyone else that i love." i said. Deidara grabbed one of Gaara's arms and put it over his shoulder. i got the other arm and put it over my shoulder.

"let's go. You, Sasori, and Kisame are going to the leaf. we'll say we killed you." i said

-TIMESKIP-

we stood in a field as Chiyo was healing Gaara

"not enough chakura." she said

'Yuri.' i said

'on it' Yuri said. i walked forward as feathers formed on my hair and i sat across from Chiyo and placed my hands on Chiyo's as the chakura glowed gold. after we were done Naruto helped Gaara sit up and sand ninjas appeared around us

"Gaara-sama!" these two girls yelled. i saw Gaara's eyes open and i ran to him and hugged him

"Gaara i was so worried." i said.

"Kazuma." Gaara said as he placed a hand on my cheek and kissed me

"AHH! the two girls screamed

"promise to never leave me again." i said

"i promise Kazuma." Gaara said. i helped him stand and had an arm around his waist

"let's go home." i said. Sasori had Chiyo in his arms carrying her as she sleep from over use of her chakura

-TIMESKIP-

after we got to Suna me and Gaara went to a restaurant. i kept getting glared at by the younger female ninjas. i feed Gaara a piece of my food. i smiled as the rice stuck to his face. i soon giggled as Gaara tried to get it off

"let me help." i said and wiped the food off his face with a napkin. after we finished eating we went to the Kazekage tower and went into the office

"you need help with the work?" i asked

"that would be great, Kazuma." Gaara said

-TIMESKIP-

after i had helped Gaara with his paper work i went to bed and in the morning i met my team, Gai's team, Kakashi's team, Kisame, Sasori, and Deidara at the gate. i gate Gaara one last kiss and we headed to the leaf. Kakashi laded face first in the sand. i sighed

"you idiot. why did you use the Sharingan?" i said

"it was the Akatsuki anything could have happened." Kakashi said. Gai put Kakashi on his back and took off leaving a trail of dust in his wake and Lee close behind

"dumbasses." Kanade said her white hair blowing in the wind. Haku blushed and looked away

"well we better go." i said and we continued towards the leaf.

(THIRD POV)

"that traitor!" Midnight bellowed as the clone of Kisame made a puddle.

"wait till Pain-sama finds out." Midnight growled as her hand went through a ninja's chest and bite down on his neck.

"T-the V-vampire." he said as the life left his eyes. Midnight's eyes glowed as blood ran down her chin.

-AKATSUKI BASE-

"we got a message Pain from Kazuma." Konan said

"what is it Konan?" Pain asked

"she has Sasori, Kisame, and Deidara with her. we can soon leave the new Akatsuki ways behind." Konan said

"that means you, me, Hidan, and Kakuzu are the only ones left then we can leave." Pain said

-KONOHA-

"YOU IDIOTS!" Akari bellowed as she hit Konohamaru upside the head

"Ne... Akari-Nee-chan that hurts." he whined

"at least Camillia-sensei isn't here to beat you senseless. you little perv." Akari said

"Akari don't hurt the poor kid." Katsuo said his short silver/black hair swayed and his black cat ears twitching. Akari blushed and looked away. Kin and Zaku sat up against a tree trunk

"sorry i'm late guys. i had matters to attend to." Camillia said walking up to her students

(KAZUMA'S POV)

"honestly Kakashi. you leave me with six students. i can't train all of them." i said, "and Aki is no longer my student. so i have an opening in my team." i leaned against the wall.

"that's why you will meet Kakashi's stand in and Aki's replacement at the training field tomorrow." Tsunade said.

"alright. then i'll go home and sleep." i said walking out of the hospital room.

"AHH!" i turned and saw a Mai chasing Konohamaru with Hikaru and Kaoru in tow. i sighed and continued home.

i ate dinner and laid in my bed and let sleep take me as little Sora was curled into my side holding his stuffed bear.
