STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION WITH CHARACTERS NOT CLOSE TO DONE YET

The queen struggled, mewing and moving in pain. A few of the clan members, mainly her mate and family were waiting outside. She could tell that her kits were almost ready to see the world. She could feel herself sweat, she felt hot and weak.
After lots and lots of struggling and pain, she felt herself cuddling and licking two kits. She was surprised that there were only two but, was satisfied with her little ones. If one of them wasn't crying, the other one was. Nevertheless, she tended to both of them and kept up well with their urgent needs.
One of the kits was small and meek, the other big and strong. One she-cat and one tom . The she-cat was a brown tabby, the tom was a gray striped tabby. As the queen looked at her little kits, she gave a look of concern. Her mate walked over to her, wondering what her look of concern was all about. "What's wrong?" He mewed, looking worried. She looked up and him and her eyes widened. "Look at the size of this one" she spoke quietly and looked at the little brown tabby kit, "Do you think she'll last the winter?" She said, still very concerned. He smiled at her and nodded, "We will take care of her, she'll be fine" he purred. She started grooming the kits and everyone left.
