Five Years Later.....

Iko sat in her bedroom (in New Beijing Palace), watching a new net drama. She heard a knock on her door. "Come in!" She chimed.  They were staying in Kai's palace because he and Cinder had finally confessed their love for each other. They would be married in five days. Scarlet and Wolf were already married and Scarlet was pregnant. Jacin had just proposed to Winter, and Thorne and Cress had married five months ago. The door opened and Dack, her beloved boyfriend stepped in.

"Hey Iko!" He said smiling. Iko stood up and wrapped him in a huge hug. When she pulled back, he kissed her. "So hon, I was wondering if you would like to join me at 15:00 for a date in the gardens?" He said, kissing her forehead now. "I'd love too." She said, though her heart was a little sad. She had expected him to propose to her. Like Wolf, taking Scarlet Back to the farm and then giving her a ring, the gemstone shaped like a tomato. And as ruby red as one too. Like Kai, giving a Cinder a glittering black, diamond, and tortoiseshell gemstone ring, to remind her of her days as a mechanic. He had given it to her, secretly hidden away in a android he needed 'fixing'. Like Thorne, bending down on one knee and giving a ring to Cress, with a turquoise and green, and crystal gemstone ring to represent their travels to come. She smiled at Dack though as he exited the room, and giggled when he kissed the back of her hand. No matter what, she would always love him. Always.

Iko made her way down the steps in a shimmering dark blue gown to match her braids. She wore some makeup, just white eyeshadow and lipstick. And blush. Dack was wearing his tux again. Maybe we are going to a fancy place to eat or something... She thought when she saw his outfit. He pulled her into a Kiss when she got to him and she kissed him back, full of passion. He led her to a waterfall cascading next to a meadow. Spread out on a blanket was a picnic. For them.

Iko was about to sit down when Dack held her back. "Iko," he asked. "Iko, there's something I want to ask you." He said, his voice a little sheepish. Iko's heart fluttered, and at first she thought, is he going to propose? But then, seeing his downcast expression she thought, is he breaking up with me? But then he took her into his arms and said, "Iko, I don't want to be with you as your boyfriend anymore." Her heart was so crushed that she didn't noticed his hand slipping into his coat pocket. "D-Dack? B-But why?" She cried, sobbing and stepping away from him. He got down on one knee. "Because Iko my love, I want our relationship to progress. Iko, I want to be your husband. Iko, will you marry me?" He said, smiling sweetly. Iko's momentarily split heart mended itself in a second and she threw herself into him. "Yes! Yes! Of course Dack! You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to say that!" She cried. She kissed him then, and he let out a small yelp of shock then pulled her into him, kissing her back fiercely. When they pulled apart, he handed her the ring box. Inside, a ring winked up at her. She took it and put it on her finger. It was a silver band, with diamonds on the rim. The gemstone was a mixture of blues, silvers, and whites. Representing Iko or really her hair, The way they'd met, on their way to Luna, and the white for marriage. "Dack." She whispered. "Dack it's beautiful. I love you so much." She kissed him again. And then, forgetting about their picnic, they joined hands and went to tell the others the good news.
