At school, Mia sees April walking away from Jeremy and Matt. She walks up to them and smiles. "Hey! So what did April want?"

Jeremy smiles at Mia. "She wanted to know about Rebekah but we didn't tell her the truth."

"April was actually worried about Rebekah." Matt says, his expression showing concern and shock. "It's hard to imagine someone being friends with her."

Mia fake coughs and stares at Matt. "Rebekah is my best friend and I'm still pissed about what Klaus did to her. Too bad I can't help her!" She looks down, feeling guilty for not being there for her friend.

Jeremy puts an arm around Mia and tries to sooth her. "It's not your fault! Rebekah did a lot of bad things but Klaus had no right to dagger his own sister."

Matt looks at them and then smiles. "Look, I'm gonna go now. Catch you later, Jer." He leaves the hallway.

"So, how are you?" Mia asks. "I know it must be hard for you since Klaus took your sister. He wouldn't tell me where she is."

Jeremy shakes his head. "I'm very worried about Elena but I'm also worried about the invisible tattoo I have."

Mia looks at Jeremy in shock. "You have the Hunter's Mark? Jer, that means you're part of the Brotherhood."

"What?" Jeremy looks surprised. "That can't be true!"

Mia shoves Jeremy inside a classroom and shows him Nicholas journal. "It says here that one Hunter dies, another one gets the calling. You were the only one able to see Connor's tattoos and now you have your own, which means that soon you will be filled with the urge to kill every vampire in sight. "Mia sighs. "Including me."

Jeremy cups Mia's face and smiles. "I would never hurt you, Mia! Even if I am one of them, I wouldn't kill vampires that are close to me."

"You won't be able to control yourself. Remember Connor's story?" Jeremy nods. "Well, he hated vampires and didn't understand why."

The bell rings and Mia and Jeremy head to their first class. Mia was concerned about Jeremy and the future of all Mystic Falls' vampires.

Mia parks her red Mustang outside the Boarding House and gets out of the car. She sees Caroline Forbes leaving her house and greets her. "Hey Caroline!"

Caroline smiles. "Hi Mia! How are you?"

"I'm fine. What are you doing here?" Mia asks, surprised to see Caroline exiting her home. The two aren't exactly friends.

"Stefan asked me to come help him find Elena." The perky blonde sighs. "Everyone seems to think I have some sort of bond with Klaus."

Mia's heart stops beating for a moment and she glares at Caroline. "Why is that? You and Klaus..."

Caroline interrupts and makes a disgusted face. "Gross! I despise Klaus with all my being."

"Oh... So you're not into him?" Mia asks cautiously.

Caroline laughs slightly. "No." Then she notices Mia's face and furrows her eyebrows. "Are you?"

"Hell no!" Mia lies. The youngest Salvatore would never admit her true feelings about Klaus, not after everything he's done in the past.

"Look, I know we're not friends but if you ever need to talk to an actual girl just come to me." Caroline smiles and touches Mia's arm. Mia returns the smile. "Now I have to go." The blonde girl says before getting inside her car. 

Mia enters her house and heads upstairs without saying a word to Stefan. She was so overwhelmed over her conflicting feelings for Klaus and Jeremy that she couldn't talk to anybody.

Jeremy rings the Salvatore's doorbell and Mia opens the door, surprised to see her friend. "Jeremy! What are you doing here?"

He enters the house and frowns. "Why are you avoiding me?"

"I'm not avoiding you." Mia replies to his harsh question.

Jeremy sighs. "I called you a bunch of times and texted you. No reply. It seems to me that you're avoiding me for some reason and I deserve to know it."

Mia sits down on the couch. "Elena killed Connor and she started to hallucinate." She sighs and avoids eye contact with Jeremy. "I've been reading my friend's research and, apparently, when a vampire kills a Hunter they start hallucinating. It's like they're being haunted until they kill themselves." Jeremy sits next to Mia. "Elena is cursed unless she dies."

Jeremy stares at Mia. "What can I do to help her?"

"There's nothing you can do. It's the Hunter's Curse." Mia laughs sarcastically. "Even dead, hunters are still able to kill a vampire." Then, Jeremy's phone starts ringing. "Who is it?" Mia asks.

He stares at the caller ID. "It's Damon." He answers, shocked.

Damon left the house with Bonnie and stopped answering his sister's texts. Mia stares at Jeremy as he talks to Damon but isn't able to listen to their conversation. Something is wrong!

Mia is in her room when her cell starts ringing. She looks at the screen and sees it's Klaus. Hesitantly, she decides to answer. "What?" She asks harshly.

"Meet me at the Grill, love." Klaus hangs up the phone.

"Rude!" Mia says out loud and then makes her way to the front door, making sure she locks it before leaving. Once she arrives at the Grill, she sees Klaus and Caroline sitting and talking like intimate friends. "Do you honestly think you can boss me around?" Mia glares at Klaus.

He smirks and gestures to the empty seat next to Caroline. "Please, Little Red, sit!"

Mia sits down. "What's the urgency now?"

Caroline sighs while noticing the little banter between Klaus and Mia. "Elena escaped and no one knows where she is."

"Of course, we have your dear brother Stefan to thank for that. Now Elena is in danger!" Klaus complains before taking a sip of his drink.

Mia crosses her arms. "Well, Elena is hallucinating about a dead Hunter who wanted to kill all vampires in sight and she feels pressured to kill herself so where do you think she would go?" She looks at Caroline and Klaus and then smirks. "Maybe, she went to the place she actually died the first time."

Caroline gets up. "Wickery Bridge!"

"Ding ding ding! The grand prize goes to Miss Forbes." Mia says sarcastically. Klaus smiles at Mia and she raises an eyebrow. "I'm gonna call Damon. Caroline, text Stefan and tell him Elena will be fine. Klaus..." She pauses. "Just stay away from all of us."

The girls leave the Grill and Klaus asks for another drink, smirking all the way through.
