Mia is her room reading a book about Silas that she stole from Professor Shane. Everything Kol told her about the menace is accurate. Her phone starts ringing and she picks it up without even glancing at the screen. "Hello?"

"You will not believe who just called me, Amelia!" The redhead immediately recognized the voice. Kol...

"Who?" Mia asks reluctantly.

Kol chuckles. "Well, to my surprise it was your friend Elena Gilbert." Mia's heart starts beating faster and faster. "She had a proposition for me."

Mia's hands start shaking. "A proposition?"

"Yes. She and her brother will help me stop Klaus forever." Kol was smirking, thinking her was getting his way.

Mia stands up, slightly confused. Elena would never help Kol since he threatened to kill Jeremy. "Where are you, Kol?" She asks. fearing the whole deal Elena offered.

"I'm at the town square."

"Wait for me and we'll talk about that deal." Mia hangs up the phone and runs downstairs where Damon is drinking.

"Where are you going?" Her brother asks with his eyebrows raised.

Mia doesn't answer and leaves the house, heading to the town square. Elena's deal was not real and Mia was fearing for Kol's safety.

Mia arrives at the town square and Kol is nowhere to be found. She tries to call him but there's no answer and she immediately calls Jeremy. "Jeremy! I know about the deal and I also know that Kol is at your house."

"He's outside the house, Mia. Why are you so worried?" Jeremy asks, clearly hurt by Mia's concern for the Original that tried to kill him.

The redhead sighs. "He's not a bad person, Jer. Please, wait until I arrive!" She disconnects the call and runs to the Gilbert's house. When she arrives, she sees Kol taunting the siblings and tackles him. "Are you alright?"

Kol stands up and notices the wooden arrow Jeremy shot with his crossbow. "Are you testing me, Little Gilbert? If you're alive is because I want you alive."

Mia grabs Kol's arms and stares at Jeremy. "Please walk inside the house, Jer. Leave Kol, alone." Jeremy closes the door and Mia turns to Kol. "They want you dead! This is not the time to act crazy. You need a game plan to beat Klaus."

The Original vampire grins. "This is my game plan!" He throws the arrow at the window and breaks the glass.

Elena opens the door and glares at Kol. "Come in if you want. We're not afraid of you, Kol."

Kol smirks and heads towards the door, but Mia stops him. "If walk through the door you're as good as dead. Jeremy is a Hunter and he's stronger than you. Hell, he's stronger than the both of us together!" Mia pleads.

"I'm an Original, darling. That punk will not kill me, but I will definitely kill him and the doppelganger." Kol grabs a wooden piece of the fence and walks inside the house, with Mia following him. "I'm here! Let's play." He smirks and starts trashing the place. 

Elena shoots a stake and hits Kol in the shoulder. "Jeremy!" She screams and the youngest Gilbert appears from behind the Original, gripping his neck.

"Please stop!" Mia pleads with Jeremy and he loosens the grip, causing Kol to gain the upper hand and punching the young Hunter. Elena screams and Kol starts chasing her around the house, until they reach the kitchen. He corners her and smirks.

"This is the end for you, Elena Gilbert. Now Klaus will not have a reason to get the cure." Kol grabs Elena and is about to kill her when Jeremy appears and stabs Kol with a white oak stake.

The Original falls to the floor and his skin turns grey and Mia starts screaming and crying. Jeremy stands there watching the death of Kol Mikaelson, the vampire who tried to kill him multiple times and was about to kill his sister. Elena reaches for a sobbing Mia but the redhead shoves her against the wall and disappears. Kol was important to the youngest Salvatore and she felt alone now.

Klaus is sitting on his couch when he hears the wind coming through an open window. He closes the window and smirks. "Amelia!" He turns around and sees Mia crying, her mascara running and her eyes all red and puffy. "What is wrong?"

"He's dead!" Mia breaks down and Klaus feels a single tear fall from his blue eyes. "Jeremy and Elena killed Kol and I couldn't stop them."

The Original hybrid holds Mia on a tight embrace and cries silently, trying to stay strong for the redhead. "What happened?"

Mia holds onto Klaus. "Kol went to the Gilbert's residence and they were all set to kill because he wanted to stop you from getting the cure and awakening Silas." She breaks from his embrace and stares deep into his eyes. "Jeremy had a white oak stake and killed him."

Klaus looks hurt. "I promise you that I will make them pay for killing my brother. No one kills my siblings and gets away with it!"

"Are you still going to find the cure?" Mia asks while wiping her tears and Klaus doesn't answer, making the redhead mad. "Even after your brother was killed, you're still going through with your obsessive plan?" She stands up and glares at him. "If you don't do anything, I will make sure that Elena pays for what she has done."

"Jeremy killed Kol, not Elena!" Klaus darts at Mia. "Do not touch her!"

"I'm done protecting Elena! She's not helpless nor a victim. She devised a plan that killed a man I cared about and I need to do something about it." Mia clenches her fists. "She has destroyed everything I love. Damon and Stefan are estranged because she keeps playing with their feelings and tonight she killed a guy that could be the love of my life. I'm all alone now and it's because of that bitch!"

Klaus walks closer to Mia. "You are not alone! I'm here for you, Little Red." He smiles softly at her and touches her pale face. "I may not be the person you're in love with but I will always protect you even when you hate me." He kisses her cheek and the redhead leaves, confused about her own feelings.
