Dear Jeremy,

Stefan and Elena are about to graduate and I'm happy for them. Your sister is finally back and all it took was for her to think that Damon had killed Matt. Thankfully, he was wearing your ring that prevented him from actually getting killed.

You would be so proud of your sister. She's not ready to talk about you or her true feelings. Everything she feels right now is hatred towards Katherine and I can relate to her. As soon as Katherine pays for all the pain she has caused, Elena will be back to normal.

Elena Gilbert walks through Mia's bedroom door and stands in front of her. "I know you're still mad at me and I don't blame you, but I need your help."

Mia closes her journal and looks at Elena with an amused smile on her lips. "What is it, Elena? i promised to be by your side so I intend to keep that promise."

Elena sits on Mia's bed and sighs. "I need you to train me so I can fight with Katherine. She's older and stronger than me. You're the only other person that can actually take her down and I need you to guide me."

"Why didn't you ask any of my brothers?" The redhead raises and eyebrow. "They're stronger than me."

"Because you hate Katherine as much as I do." Elena stands up and paces around Mia's room. "She hurt us the most and your brothers don't understand that. Katherine lied to you for decades about Damon and Stefan and she killed my brother who loved you to death."

Mia looks at Elena and smiles. "I'll train you. Maybe I can be your Yoda." She smirks and Elena rolls her eyes.

Mia takes Elena to the woods and opens the black duffel bag she carried. She grabs a wooden stake and hand it to Elena. "First lesson, be prepared for everything." She smirks. "Attack me!" Elena nods and lunges at Mia with the stake in hand. The redhead moves out of the way quickly and grabs Elena from behind, making her drop the stake. "And now you're hopeless." Mia releases her grip on her friend. "Pretend that I'm Katherine and stake me."

Elena looks at Mia confused. "You're not Katherine! This is not gonna help me. I need real practice."

The redhead smirks and punches Elena. "What are you gonna do? Go home and cry to your mommy? Oh wait, she's dead!" She hits Elena one more time. "Just like every single member of your family. You're alone, Elena. And Katherine is counting on that to make you vulnerable." Mia tries to hit Elena again but her friend grabs her arm and shoves her against a tree.

"I'm not alone!" Elena states and punches Mia with all her strength. The youngest Salvatore dodges the next blow but Elena grabs the stake and pushes Mia, causing her to fall on the floor.

Mia smiles. "You did it!" She stands up and looks at Elena. "You used your anger for something useful." The redhead feels blood coming out from her nose and chuckles. "Now, lesson two. Katherine is manipulative and you need to get down to he level."

Elena looks at Mia confused. "How? I'm not good playing at her game."

"Thankfully for you, I am." Mia smirks at Elena. "Hurt me with your words and get inside my mind. Make me vulnerable!" She yells at Elena.

The brunette closes her eyes and sighs. "You're weak enough to let Silas possess you."

Mia smiles. "Good! Now, hit me again. Tell me how you really feel."

Elena punches Mia in the stomach. "You let Katherine get inside your head when she lied about the death of your brothers." She hits the redhead in the jaw. "Jeremy died without knowing how much you truly love him. You were too wrapped up with Klaus that you never gave my brother the time of day." She pins Mia against a tree and notices the redhead crying. "I'm sorry!"

"It's okay! You did exactly what I asked you to." Mia grabs two blood bags and hands one to Elena. "I really was weak and stupid. Jeremy was right in front of me and I couldn't see him." Elena holds her hand and the two smile at each other, repairing their broken friendship.

Mia Salvatore in her car driving to the Boarding House when a violent storm hits Mystic Falls. Lightning strikes and a tree falls, causing Mia to hit the breaks in order to not hit the fallen tree. Once car stops moving, Mia decides to hop off the red Mustang to move the tree out of the way. She grabs the tree and tries to move it but feels someone gripping her throat. "What..." She tries to speak.

"Amelia Salvatore..." A man speaks. "It has been way too long and I must say that you look even better than you did in 1864."

The redhead hits the man in the face with her head and faces him. "You're one of the tomb vampires..." She looks shocked. "You're supposed to be dead!"

He chuckles. "This storm came in handy. I'm not the only one who's here."

Mia looks around and notices several of the tomb vampires surrounding her. "What do you want?"

"You're a Salvatore! Because of your brothers we were entrapped in that tomb for over a century and now we want our revenge." The man stares Mia mright in the eyes, causing her to shiver.

She looks around scared. "I had nothing to do with that. Katherine is the only one to blame. She manipulated all of you just like she did to my family." the redhead takes a step back. "If you want revenge, go after Katherine."

The vampires lunge at Mia and she falls on the floor, trying to avoid the contact. Someone starts screaming, but Mia chooses not to look up. After a few moments, she stops hearing screams and opens her eyes, noticing someone walking to her. "Come on, love."

Mia looks at the person and gasps in shock. "Kol..."
