Mia wakes up in the woods with Bonnie watching over her. She puts her hand on her head and looks around. "Bonnie, why am I here?" She tries to stand up but fails. 

"Don't move!" Bonnie holds Mia, not letting her hit the ground. "Don't you remember?" Mia shakes her head. "Silas possessed you."

The redhead stares at Bonnie with fear in her brown eyes. "I remember... Silas kept thinking about my brother and he wants to kill Elena..." Mia feels pain in her head and screams. "He's trying to get back inside. Bonnie warn my brothers!" The witch runs as fast as she can, leaving Mia battling Silas inside her mind.

"I don't know what your endgame is but you will never break Stefan." Mia states.

Silas laughs at her statement. "Honey, by possessing you, I've already broken your brother. There are things you don't know about me."

Mia stares at a tree. "I know that you're using my brother's image to break me and make me an easy target."

"I'm not using anything, Mia. The mind is a tricky thing. It can make you see things that you think are real and prevents you from seeing what is right in front of you." He smiles at the redhead. "You need to see the bigger picture here Mia. If you think, you can figure it out."

"You're not evil, Silas. I know all about your true love and what that witch did to you." Mia sighs. "Why are you trying to destroy everything around you? Just cross to the Other Side and leave peacefully."

Silas laughs at her once again. "Because, Mia, I need to find her."

Mia collapses on the ground, after everything starts spinning in her head and Silas is able to possess her again.

The youngest Salvatore arrives home and sees Elena tied to a chair. She smirks walks closer to the brunette. "Are you awake, Elena?"

"Are you going to open the blinds and burn me like your brothers did?" A weak Elena asks. "They're trying so hard to bring the old Elena back that is sickening."

Mia kneels in front of her and grins. "You honestly think I care about your stupid humanity? The longer you stay this way, the better for me." She stands up. "You see, I need the new despicable you in order to kill you and make Stefan miserable. The more devastated he is, the easier it will be for me." She holds a dagger and laces it with vervain. "But you don't even know who I am or what I'm after." Mia chuckles. "I can't let you get your humanity back." She stabs Elena in the leg and the helpless vampire screams in agony.

Damon and Stefan arrive in the living room and see Mia standing beside Elena with a dagger in her hand. "We know who you are, Silas." Stefan states. "Leave Mia alone! She has nothing to do with this." 

"Mia is just a vessel. I do not intend on hurting her whatsoever." Mia turns to Elena. "Now her, on the other hand, I plan on doing a lot of bad things." She smiles viciously.

Stefan takes Mia's hand and looks straight into her eyes. "Mia, I know you're there. Please be strong and fight him. I know you can do this."

The possessed redhead looks at Stefan intently and then smirks. "Turns out your sister does not love you that much."

Damon steps in and shoves her to the floor. "You're a little bitch!" He says in anger. "You let Katherine manipulate you for decades, fell in love with a psycho hybrid, made out with his even more psycho brother, mourned his death and never had the guts to tell Jeremy how you really felt. He died loving you but you didn't care enough to let him know you loved him too." Damon yells at her. "You're not my sister! Not the one I used to know. My Amelia was strong, fierce and compassionate. You're just a sad excuse of a vampire!"

Mia starts sobbing and then screams. "GET OUT OF MY BODY!" She passes out and Damon grabs her, putting her on the couch.

Stefan crosses his arms over his chest. "Do you think that worked? You were a little too rough on her."

"Yeah well, your little attempt didn't help so I had to try the most extreme approach." Damon smirks while watching Mia rest. "I think we have our sister back." He smiles while running his fingers through her pale cheek.

Mia opens her eyes and takes in on her surroundings. She spots Damon sitting next to her and grabs his arms. "Love."

Damon looks at his sister confused. "What?"

The redhead moves to a sitting position and looks at her brother's blue eyes. "Silas is motivated by love. That's why he's so strong!" She sighs. "When he possessed me, all he could think about was a girl that he loved back when he was human and he wants to get her back."

"Shane said that the witch killed her." Damon states slightly confused.

"But what if this girl was supernatural? She would have gone to The Other Side when it was created."

Damon stands up. "So Silas wants the cure to be human and die? It doesn't make sense! If his true love in on The Other Side he wouldn't want to die as a human."

Mia nods in agreement. "You're right. He said that the answer was right in front of me and he's really adamant on possessing Stefan."

The oldest Salvatore shrugs. "Well, Stefan will never let Silas possess him. Unless he uses his humanity."

Mia glances at Elena, still tied to a chair looking like a mess. "That's why Silas wanted me to kill Elena. She's his anchor, his link to humanity. As long as he loves her, he's safe." She smiles and holds her brother's hand. "I dislike Elena for everything she has done but she keeps Stefan sane and she makes you happy. Maybe she's not that bad after all."
