Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia were best friends since the moment they first met. Both were at the same age and they were both very close to each other. Every day, they will go to a flower field and play there. Lucy loves to make flower crown,and she always made one for Natsu." Natsu,let's play princess and knights! "She called. Natsu wasn't paying attention to her as he was busy picking flowers. Lucy saw that he didn't pay attention to her slowly creep up to him and place a crown of flowers on his head. When Natsu realize it he turned around and have her a pink flower crown." Thanks Luce!" He said and kissed her cheek. Lucy giggled as he did that.

The next day,Natsu went to the garden as usual. But when he reached there,Lucy was crying. "Hi Luce!" He called. Lucy turned around and looked at him with teary eyes." What's wrong? Are you hurt?" He ask. Lucy shook her head." I'm leaving soon." She said. Natsu was surprised." But,why?" He ask." My mummy and daddy got into a fight last night. And mummy decided to live with granny in the castle." She explained. Natsu was sad but,he can't change the fact that Lucy was actually a princess and him,just a boy from a rich family." Don't cry Luce. Let's make a promise. If we meet again,we will stay together and never let anything separate us again." He said as he give Lucy a flower. Lucy wiped her tears and looked at him." Promise?" She ask." Promise." Natsu said. "But,how do I know that we will meet again? I mean,I'm going to be a princess soon." She said. Upon hearing this,Natsu thought about something. "I know!" He exclaimed and ran straight towards his house. He came back several minutes later with something in his hand." Here!" He said handing it to her. Lucy looked at the thing inside his grasp and saw a bird. Her eyes sparkled and she squealed excitedly." It's adorable! Thank you!" She said as she hug him. They spend the rest of the day playing and read books in Natsu's home.

The next day,Lucy came out of the house with luggage and a bird cage. Natsu watch sadly as his best friend leaving him. She Lucy was riding the carriage,she look at Natsu for the last time and said " I hope we meet again." With a smile. When the carriage pulled away Natsu chased after it for a few feet before stopping and wave sadly.
