Marx and Magolor went outside of the cave within the volcano, and traversed the molten land. Along the way, Magolor took out a notebook, taking notes on everything he saw, from flowers to critters. One time he even stopped to examine a small Gabro looking thing that waddled up to him... Wait...

Marx thought it strange how there were some creatures from where he was from on Halcandra, though he knew better than to question it. Strange things happen everywhere in every sort of way.

"Are we seriously going to be stopping to look at everything here?"

Magolor jumped in surprise, "Ah! Sorry, it's just that I haven't been outside much, and I'm usually much more cautious... But this little guy came up to me! So cute!"

Marx rolled his eyes, "Come on Mags, I'm dying out here! It's too ho-ot!!!"

"Oh, fine, come on!"

Quickly snatching up the smaller person, Magolor took flight towards the factories.

After making some way into the city, Magolor dropped them both off behind one of the old factories.

"Bleugh, the air smells awful! Did nobody know what an air freshener was?"

Magolor stifled a laugh, then placed a hand over Marx's mouth.

"Be quiet, I don't want it to find us."

"Bleh, thph, don't want what to find us?"

Fiddling with his scarf, he looked around cautiously, "You don't want to know."

After sneaking through the city for hours, and taking every single roundabout way, they finally found the storage room that Magolor had said the Energy Spheres would be.

They weren't there.

"WHAT!? WHAT THE FUCK!?!? WHAT IN THE ACTUAL SUGAR FLIPS IS THIS!??!?!!"

"Woagh Magsie, calm down!"

Whipping around at frightening speeds, Magolor raised a hand and-

Quickly caught himself, "I-I-"

Suddenly, there was a mechanical whirr, and a clunk of heavy metal.

Marx suddenly understood what Magolor was so worried about finding them.
