My Oldest OCs

Steve/Alex, Jen/Dan (first Minecraft OC duo; friends)

Jen/Dan are secondary characters that came into play during the 2nd/3rd "parts" of the neverending fanfic vibe that is this story.

Steve and Alex are my oldest OCs I remember the story of in so much detail.
They were created three years ago.
And have become essentially my go-to characters when I write stories based on writing prompts I've found on Pinterest.
And those stories are kinda-sorta canon.

If you consider those practically-fanfiction unfinished stories canon.. Or just even let the fact that I basically just gave these two access to the multiverse when I really shouldn't. For some reason.

Alex is an orange-haired girl whose family refuses to venture out into the world. Instead, they stay down in the mines, hauling up precious ores.
But she decides she's had enough. Packing up her tools, she says goodbye to her family and begins an adventure she would never forget.

One rainy evening, she is wandering through a forest near her temporary base. That's when she hears a rustling..
She turns to see a strange man with glowing white eyes dart away in fear, landing on his back a few feet away.
She barely saw it, but she could see the man was not in good shape.
His disheveled brown hair was tangled with leaves and sticks..The wet blue cloth of his shirt clung to his skin, torn in many places.

But she only had a moment to question what to do when out of the corner of her eye she spotted a firey ball of danger.

She ducked, barely in time as the fireball flew from the stranger's hands and into a nearby tree.
She managed to put the fire it caused out with the help of the rain.

The stunned girl turned to see the man stumbling to get up.
He looked back at her.
Despite a lack of pupils, she could see the fear in the eyes of the stranger.

So she came closer.
But then he ran.
So she followed.

Nearly tripping over a root, she spots the glow of the man's eyes, looking back at her.
There was a large tree right in his path.

She tries to yell out to him to stop before he gets hurt, but that only made the pair of cobweb-white eyes stare back at her longer.

He doesn't turn back around in time, slamming face first into the wood. He lands harshly on the damp, dirty grass. A dark liquid leaked from his head..

Alex ran faster towards the poor man, realizing she may have indirectly caused his injury.
At her home, Alex cleans up him the best she can without removing his clothes.
They become friends, after he woke up and thanked her for her kindness. Most people would run from him. Or worse...attempt to hunt him down.

He explained that he woke up some time ago in a random place, only remembering his name. Steve.
But everyone was scared of him, called him "Herobrine." He didn't know why people were scared of this "Herobrine" person that he wasn't.
He didn't know what was going on.
But then he discovered he had powers..powers he couldn't quite control. He accidentally threw that fireball the night before, running because he assumed she would be like the others. Scared or fighting back.

She starts helping him with his powers, and explains that hundreds of years ago there were rumors of Herobrine. Legends, even.
He became just a child's spooky tale for years, but then he became real. Powers and all. Years ago.

She never thought much of it, she only knew someone had been destroying villages and towns under the name. She knew *that* was a very real threat.
But then she caught wind of a rumor, that the man behind the attacks had suddenly disappeared.
Right around the time that Steve said he woke up.

...
So. The story goes that Steve was a teenager in one of these old villages, maybe a hundred or so years before Alex's time.

He ventures out until he finds a jungle temple. But it was strange.
Inside, he found no tripwires or any chests.
But instead, a potion held upon an oddly shaped block, like it was made to hold it and it alone.
The sun shone upon it through the carved out window, making the strange bottle's contents shimmer unlike any normal potion.

His home life was awful, at least he considered it to be. So with nothing to lose, he grabbed the bottle and drunk it.
Afterwards he felt weird, but good. Like he could face his father and tell him to start treating his son right.

By the time he arrived home, Steve simply leapt off the cliff overlooking his home without a care.
To his surprise, he floated!
He let out a laugh. He hasn't felt this free in forever. As he landed on the ground, his father came outside.
He was most certainly going to yell at him for being gone.

Anger washed over him, the boy pulling out his axe with gruesome thoughts on his mind.
By the time he was done, not a single voice could plead out for mercy.

He had bathed his village in flames.
Starting with his family's land.

...
Steve eventually was completely overtaken by the effects, and became Herobrine. He recalled the old legend and began calling himself that.
He reigned supreme up until a particular fight which landed him back on the site of his old village.
His opponent didn't survive, but their final spell wiped Steve's memory, and therefore the negative effects of the potion.

He couldn't remember anything about "Herobrine," both what he did and the legend itself. He also couldn't recall the time before his Herobrine era, besides that he once had a family in a village..somewhere. He knew they were gone but didn't know why.

Steve had basically been possessed by Herobrine through the potion, but didn't lose the powers- or the eyes- when he got his memory wiped.
Alex and Steve find out about all this and it is simply too much for Steve to handle.

He reverts back into Herobrine. Alex found herself stuck between not hurting Steve and saving him from himself, and having to fight him and not die.
So she hides behind her weapons and shield, in hopes of bringing her friend back through her words.

There comes a time where Steve has stopped attacking.
He tells her to run.
She tries to come to him when he lands on the ground kneeling..
He tells her to stay away.
She tried to get closer.
He yells at her in tears to not get close..

She is close enough that she can now see a single indigo-blue pupil.
That eye is the only one crying.
But the color is fading fast..
He pleads with her one last time.

"Please, just run. Before you become just like my family.."

With tears in her eyes, she finally ran.
But it was too late.

Herobrine rose up with a strength she had not witnessed in the first half of the battle.

"Your tears bring me strength." The man grinned, hovering upon dark blue wings of water. "I will see them put to good use."

Using her last possible shield, Alex barely keeps herself from lighting aflame by the monster her friend had become.

The heat felt like it was burning into her body.
But when the shield broke..
She did not.

Her pale orange hair became a bright red and orange as she sprouted bright flaming wings, her green eyes turning a startling red.

She rose up to face the white-eyed beast with a new energy flowing through her.
She burned the monster.
But saved her friend.

...
Even after Alex and Steve no longer had their wings and Steve no longer has Herobrine's powers, Alex can still control fire and Steve can exclusively control water.

Also I used to use these four so often in random stories that in my first Steve Saga AU I hint at their various random adventures and stuff with giving one character a whole collection of random out-of-this-world kind of weapons and stuff, and said character letting Sabre and Rainbow Steve pick one each.
Also a notebook with entries about meeting Alex, Steve, Jen, and Dan on multiple occasions.

Alex/Emily (2nd Minecraft OC duo.)

Alex is the son of Herobrine, but he/his father aren't your average Herobrine story. Their story has an interesting background on why people have such varied opinions of and/or experiences with Herobrine.

Emily is a female Entity 303, she was created in Alex's town's local "government-run mad scientist lab" of sorts. She had escaped the lab and she shows up at Alex's doorstep as a young overpowered child in a lab coat.
Which is where the actual story takes place.

But what of the Herobrine situation?

You see, those various stories are indeed all true. But they're stories conducted in alternate worlds, dimensions, even variants of Earth itself.

But Herobrine is more like an actor, made to fill the role as himself.
He was created in the early days, after the first post was made about "him." Because once people started "seeing Herobrine," an unknown team, names and faces lost to time, created an actual "Herobrine" creature to fill these roles as a Creepypasta, a Minecraft Lore, a clickbait title screen.

He was at first your ordinary player/human.
But was thrown into world after world to learn how to become a being capable of anything you imagine.
He was the vessel to be used by us in creating fake stories and "real" ones featuring this odd white-eyed fellow.

So in the end, he was an innocent man with a power he didn't want. A control over anything, yet no say in his own life choices.
He didn't want to play the villain in everyone's story.
Even those stupid and weird ones were better to hi  than the destruction he had to cause in the well-written ones.

So he decided to choose a world no one had given him a script for.
And tried to write his own story.

But it wasn't this story. This is his son's story. Where a boy far different from everyone around him goes on a journey with a new friend. To discover the new and old and enjoy his life despite the hate everyone else throws at him.

Alex cares for the young MC Lore, naming her Emily since she kept repeating the word "entity" when asked her name. His mom approves of keeping her, and she grows up quicker than any human, even Alex.

Jake/Issac/Brianna (demon/human?/angel trio.)

Jake has a hereditary curse that turns him slowly into a demon, which happens to start in the spring before his 15th birthday. He doesn't tell his mom at first, until he has red wings and a tail growing only weeks after it started.
He delves into the past of his mom's family and finds out she carries a curse which causes the men of the family to transform into demons.

Bri's dad is an angel. I mean this literally, and no not a sexed up or cutesy one either. Think biblical.
Imagine what kind of a thing would be so scary to a human that they must shout "fear not!" every time they appear.b
Something with many many eyes and/or limbs, half a dozen wings, may or may not be on fire.

Yeah. Well her father was the inventor of a special pilk that can allow angels to roam as ordinary humans.
Her mom is out of the picture, so Bri now has a lovely step mom who has a little redhead boy named Issac. Despite being pretty young, he is a genuinely fantastic artist.
His family tree also holds a secret.

Ben¹ (first spider hybrid, and first unplanned Minecraft OC)

What I mean by 'unplanned,' is that this technically was meant to be an OC in a normal world but it just sort of turned into a Minecraft world.
He was the original Ben, but then I later changed the other OC's name to Ben so now I just have two OCs both named Ben and two other OCs named Alex.

(#90) Mark (school friend of Ben²; Ben²'s story is known as The Forest Children. Mark is a smart boy with an extra arm that he always gets teased for. his parents couldn't afford to amputate it when he was younger so they've gotten used to getting fabric and clothes in generic colors to sew on a third sleeve.)

Project Obsidian/Project A.R.G.U.S. (Minecraft again)

A personal favorite old original story. Project Obsidian woke as an obsidian-skinned multi-tool weapon to a lab. They have a tail with a hookup to a torch and like six limbs they can screw a different tool onto.
They escaped, with the help of a kind scientist lady.

Now free, they were not sure what to do. Until they meet a kind girl that reminds them of the scientist. So they decide to be friends with her.

Near one of the lab's landfills, Project A.R.G.U.S. awoke without memories.

They were a subject of a scrapped project, which resulted in their memories being wiped. However, someone took pity on them and did not kill them and toss them into the trash.

Project A.R.G.U.S. did not remember anything, and so awoke surprised to discover eyes all over their body. Even one on the back of each hand.

Scared, they kinda just had a mental breakdown under a tree before wandering off into the wilderness. Eventually they got unripped jeans, a big sweater to cover their hands, and a handmade mask. They also grew out their purple hair to cover their neck.

Project A.R.G.U.S. couldn't remember their name. But recalled a Greek myth of a man named Argus with a hundred eyes. So they started called themselves such.

Argus later met a demon hybrid, who was 75% human but 25% demon. Armaros Boruta Leviathan. Yep. This side character has an actual full name. Rare, huh?

Armaros was born with a deformity that caused him to have a very long tail and long ears. He hides both his tail and demon horns under his skull cat beanie.

I used Project A.R.G.U.S. later as a base for creating alter versions of them but using different facial body parts. Like a mouth. Ears. Recently did a visual concept of noses.

Pretty much just me asking the question, "okay but what if it was many [body part] instead of eyes?" Very interesting results.

Dolby and Eyandin (dream OCs)

Two OCs created from a dream I had. Barely remember the dream itself, but fell in love with these two.

Dolby is a tiny inch-tall or so boy with black hair and entirely grayscale or black clothing. He has pale-ish skin and was named Dolby because I originally called him "The Black Doll Boy" because everything, including his eyes, were black. Besides his skin color.
He actually looked kinda doll-like too, he had a bigger head with a smaller body and adorable large eyes. He just looked so cute. (He also had normal eyes, BTW)

Eyandin I called "Eye Hand Thing." He straight up looks like an alien but with human skin. Let me just explain-
So he has this cube body. But the corners are kind rounded. There's this hand with eyes on each fingertip- ya know what I'll just post an image of them-

Yeah. You can see how old this is. But it's a c c u r a t e. That's basically how they look, except Eyandin is, ya know, 3D. This was an old dream I had, I would write and even draw stuff about my dreams. Now I write them digitally. I have s o many- I'm excited to share my strangest dreams with you guys after I publish this book!!

But yeah, as you can see Eyandin is...weird. In their story, and in the dream, he's terrified of like everything. In fact, he's scared of whatever he is in the story. In the dream, though, me and my family were in this strange broken-down waiting room looking house. There was a rocking chair, and I picked up the little inch tall thing I now call Eyandin and he was practically cowering. Dolby was just..chilling though.

I made the strange house waiting room into a place where these zombie-like people sit, and the duo ended up waking up under one row of chairs. Also should mention it was like late at night in the dream, there was a window looking out at a tree with the full  moon visible. But anyways.

In the story, Dolby is sort of like a demon version of a genie. He gets more and more inhuman looking the more wishes he grants. He and Eyandin find out about this when Eyandin wishes he looked more human, like with an actual head and hands, and Dolby jokingly said "wish granted!"

Dolby turned into a gray-skinned demon with pure black eyes and horns + tail. Eyandin had one eye on his new blond-haired head. He also had extra long ears for no reason. Eyandin had arms and a neck that could stretch and were like rubber.

Eyandin used his new appendages to help Dolby, who got stuck in a hole in the bottom of the chair he was under with his new horns.

There's also a very tall woman in the kitchen behind the closed door in the room. She's like a banshee but idk what exactly a banshee is so she's just like one. She's afraid of the zombie-like people despite being taller than all of them and them being slow.

She saves Dolby and Eyandin after they attempt to reach a door to escape. They got caught by a particularly old looking zombie person. I didn't name the banshee girl so let's just call her Anshe. Anshe ends up hearing a commotion and managed to grab both of them before they got hurt and ran back into the kitchen-bathroom room she was in.

The Angel From Heaven

Inspired by the song "Angel With A Shotgun" by The Cab.

Fully of irony and honestly weird hybrids.
Angel is a young boy from Heaven. A town full of the nastiest scumbags in the land. He was named such not because of where he lived; he was born as part angel.

For any normal town, people would have seen this as a gift from [insert god here]. But for the town of Heaven, this was seen as the spawn of the devil. Yep. Told ya there's a lot of irony.

Angel isn't one of your adorable cherubs; he's got a true form which puts fear into anyone. Or in his town's case, m o r e hatred.
He always has your standard feathery white angel wings as a human; plus a bit of an unnatural appearance. Mostly contributed to the fact he has at least a dozen eyes and a glowing mouth.

(Based on what I've heard biblical angels look like- many eyes and wings, many limbs. At least three pairs of wings. Wields a flaming sword.)

The town's residential gangs are always plotting something; one in particular has been trying to get Angel convicted for various crimes. His wings have been hurt many times along with his actual body.
Despite this, he still tries to be kind. He has a strong moral compass, to the point where being bad has given him physical pain.

His parents were at first overjoyed. They loved and protected their little Angel from the hate of their town.
They couldn't afford to move. So they made paradise themselves, with what they had.

But time passed and the town only got worse when people started seeing Angel in person. They tried to hold strong against the ever-brewing anger and toxicity.

But they both were damaged. His father was always returning home injured in some way. Physically and mentally. His mother becane so empty from facing her neighbors' scorn that she grew apathetic and emotionless.

Til that fateful day came. The gang had finally accomplished their goal of getting Angel falsely accused of so many crimes the town had decided to send him away on an impossible task.

Kill the beast said to be the hybrid of four ancient mythological beings. Or be exiled forever.

A couple, one who has a phobia of snakes, and the other who has a phobia of spiders, must overcome their fears when their partner is turned into their phobia. But they're only half animal. They need to escape and return home before they're recaptured by the sick scientists who turned them into hybrids.

The Lost Monster Child (Minecraft)

A half-Ghast child is born to two loving human parents. But as they gets older, their form changes from a Ghast-like human to a red-eyed white creature with tentacles.
And with that, came the extra size from being a Ghast hybrid creature.

Their village is raided one day, by hunters looking to capture or kill them. Their worried parents had already prepared something for this, and show them a hidden portal. Their father barely manage to break apart the obsidian before the hunters found them.

Afraid and confused with slight amnesia, the near-adult Ghast hybrid meets a kind zombie pigman willing to help them. She takes them to a Nether Fortress to a wither skeleton who knows about the human things going on in the Overworld.

The Siamese Twins (from Minecraft story The Experiment)

TV Head (ft. smol child)

A mad scientist puts the soul of a human into a floating-TV-headed mechanized creation.
Months after they wake up, the creation is trapped in their cell. But a new addition has been brought in. A small girl. The scientist hasn't hurt her and the TV head creation doesn't know why he put her in there, but the moment they saw her they knew they would get her out of there.

The Technology Goes Straight To Our Heads (phone/tablet head OCs)

Sort of a knockoff of the TV Head OC concept. Phone head OC is smol, tablet is tall (comparatively) but also still kinda smol.
They are sentient creations of a long-abandoned factory, unsure of their current situation. The floating phone head is fragile, but their actual body isn't. The floating tablet head isn't though.

The Children Of The Forest (6 main OCs)

One of my favorite original stories to play with. The main five OCs are a group of boys, who each woke up at different points in time in the same spot in the forest.

Essentially, each of them are like "what if I put this body part on max size," like ears. Mouth. Eyes. Hands. Neck. Et cetra. So then the sixth is a person who I basically did the opposite for, they lack fingers and toes.
They have no face or ears. Or much of a neck. Has long arms and legs but has this weird eldritch-monster-like mouth on the back of his head. He has tendrils that look like hair that help him eat.

It's actually a pretty good story, once you ignore the body horror!

An Unsettling Reality (may change name; literal horror)

This is literally like a horror movie but book form. Except as usual, the characters are actually nice.

We've got the main character, who woke up in a room with blood literally everywhere. Including on themselves. He has four arms and this weird split lower body, so he looks like his torso is floating over this solid obsidian-colored diamond shaped pot thing but it's solid. It's weird, my brain just gave me a vague image.

He has this murder axe that doesn't affect him but if it's left alone with others it tries to make them commit murder.

There's a younger girl that was turned into this creature that kinda resembles those weird late-night photos on the internet with humanoid creatures?? She's maybe 14 or so. She can't speak, only growls, and since she is taller than she's used to she's clumsy.

There's one dude who is literally decapitated. He has a sort of doctor's coat on and when he tries to put his bleeding, decapitated head back on, these weird, black tongues (or tentacles) replace his forearms and hands. He's kinda terrified, naturally, so he just sits in the supply room he's stuck in and just waits for help.

Turns out those things are meant to help keep his head on/seal the line where his head got cut off.

Also this setting is..interesting. Essentially, there is a plot of house land that is covered in thick smoke and fog. It connects to the dimension these people are stuck within. It is a house, the house where horror movies live. It is a maze of rooms, and it steals residents of the town and tries to turn them into monsters and killers to release back into the streets. This house exists in a void of land, which creates an illusion to various outside settings horror movies have.

However, these three characters, plus the ordinary girl who is in the role of like every horror protagonist, managed to keep their sanity and escape alive. Well, as alive as they can be. There's also a group of boys they keep seeing that's a reference to The Children Of The Forest.

However, when the little group arrives back in the normal world, their problems aren't over. They end up taking shelter in an abandoned house, because the residents of the little town are far too cautious to let these strangers in their home.

(#110) Cartoon boy/anime girl/video game man/horror game woman

Essentially, it starts with a schoolboy waking up as a cartoon version of himself. His friend becomes an anime girl. The two end up traveling to a horror game sort of dimension where they meet a woman who looks like a character in like a zombie horror game.
They meet a man who looks like a video game character, who is from the same world the kids are from.

They all have the abilities of their respective genres.

The Incarnation Of Chaos

Rosie

A female OC from my Dream SMP × Steve Saga oneshot featuring Ghostbur and Ghost Steve. She is a Sky Person who came to collect Ghostbur and bring him to the Steve Saga server. Vaguely based on me.

Oh God No (welcome to my cursed, weird mind. Don't ask why they exist)

Cursed spider person

Yet another spider-human hybrid. But this time it's a story featuring a whole race of them! They have more than two eyes and have four arms. They have fangs and have a human half and a spider half.

There is a curse of sorts which was passed down by one of the original people from which the whole race is descended from.
It's a hereditary thing, which skips every other generations.

The thing is, this curse is like a wheel of misfortune. If you're descended from that person, you could get a simple bad luck curse or something that causes death, or any other thing that could possibly exist as a curse.

Main character is unaware that they carry said curse, and are the next to physically show it. The result from their spin on the wheel of curses is a strange one, very uncommon. The doubling curse.

Their spider half sprouts twice as many legs, causing them to tumble to the floor as their arms double in number. However their eyes multiply by eight.

Eventually they are discovered by their village, and are forced to flee into the forest. Before that, though, they manage to get to their mother's house.
She had realized that her husband carried the curse, and what her child would experience, too late. And then had managed to make some new clothes for them. She hands them some supplies with the clothes and told them to wait for her out in the forest.

While they were scouting out a new place, the main character finds a sad, very burnt vampire hiding in the shade of a tree by the freshwater lake they had found. Looking out into the distance, they realize the vampire must have been recently turned and used to live out in the human city across the fields.

Life As A Living Zombie

Main character is a zombie. But you aren't getting a cutesy green-skinned lad. You're getting the disgusting end of being undead. Really putting the "horror" in body horror.

Based off of "The Hearse Song" by Rusty Cage. Very graphic imagery of a dead body. Still don't know why the heck this song exists, but hey! Free OC material!

??? Guard/Snake/elephant/crab/???

I'm not gonna explain this one, it's just- really weird. Involves animal hybrids, but up the body horror with making the animal parts ALSO human skin. Oh god wait- aaand I just explained it.

Just don't even ask why- I like making hybrids and happened to have this idea.

Radioactive spider hybrid/stretchy

First time working with a radioactive/nuclear waste backstory.
I just really like drawing spiders, okay?

Main character 1 got caught in a radioactive blast, got melded together with a bunch of spiders. Nothing goes wrong. Totally.
Dude ain't in a good place, to say the least.

Tried to go for a more realistic approach to radioactivity with this guy, with not him turning into a half-human-half-giant-spider thing but this creature with these little spider eyes all over his body b/c he was made with little spiders merging with a human body. Still has giant spider features, but also has multiple extra human parts. He's more or less covered in this spider hair sort of thing besides one spot on his face and one single hand.

Main character 2 has stretchy limbs. But they don't go back to normal. He can't actually walk any more b/c his legs are like rubber bands trying to hold up a book. Still can crawl, and can move his legs like they're normal- like pulling his knees up to his chest. He's pretty smart, so when his one arm stretched slightly he knew to not do it to his other limbs.
But his family started messing with them, and it resulted in him being taken away by the facility who is "keeping everyone safe" by keeping main character 1 stuck in their facility to be used and tested on.

Both are stuck in the same glass-walled room together, to be mocked and tested on by facility members. I just kinda ignored the 30+ years radioactivity takes to wear off entirely.

My One (1) Gacha Mini Movie Idea
The Glitching Boy

"Glitch" (real name Dae Cassi.)
A boy that went missing when he got trapped inside a multiplayer VR game. Doesn't remember his old life and doesn't understand why he's a sentient glitched avatar in the game.
Usually hides in alleyways and the like b/c he's shy and freaks people out when his head starts violently shaking and glitching. It doesn't hurt, but the glitch makes him look insane. Very much a sweet lil bean u~u

(#150) 'Ruby_Demon' (real name Ruby Shocali. Either a standard popular girl or plays DnD- can't remember if Tori did DnD or was popular)

'Wizard Tori-ment' (real name Tori Levorin. They're trans if I remember right.)

'IMrobbinU' (real name Russell Sprout. Gets teased b/c of his name but could easily be the popular kid if he had a different name.)

I barely remember this story, but I recall there being a twist to how Tori/Russell/Ruby's in-game characters were totally different from how you would usually think of them.

Like some people see the "bad boy" character that Russel has in the VR game and think either that he would a popular/bad boy IRL or he is teased, putting on the bad boy act online to escape his woes.
But guess what?
Dun dun dunnn! It's both!

I think that maybeee Ruby was the one who plays DnD..? And Tori was the popular girl (who happened to be trans)
I don't know.

What I do know though is that despite having the Gacha apps for like a few weeks now, I have never once considered putting the characters THAT ARE LITERALLY MEANT TO BE FOR GACHA into a n y of them.
Well, that and how clearly I still see the scenes I originally envisioned like a year ago. I know exactly which mouth type I have to put on Dae for when he glitches and all that.
