(#50) A Glitch In The System (mild body horror; Minecraft Trapped)

Based on Minecraft Trapped; vaguely a real-life AU.

Lost and Broken Soul (reality shift AU 18)

Essentially the backstory to the "base" of my random crossovers. That being that after Sabre died in SS season 2, and Sabre creating Antivirus in the Virus Saga, Sabre is sent back to the Steve Saga.
But something has gone wrong.
Sabre has the power to travel to other fandom universes/AUs. But can bring back the dead...Basically an OP!Sabre AU.
Sabre can bring back those who he has known, like Rainbow, Light, etc.

The Guardian confirms the truth.
Sabre has brought the dead souls back to life forcefully. And he can't get the souls back in. Sabre seems to control life and death now.

Each villain slowly realized how many complications there are.
Someone may be trying to rule the world, but another could be trying to destroy it. Someone could also straight up just want to destroy the universe in its entirety.

Their collective enemy has the power to override the one person who watches over the deceased. And could probably let them die again. So they wait. In fear of making one mistake and dying on the spot.

Sabre ends up creating the Rainbow City, in honor of the Rainbow Town. He realized he just brought back essentially an entire civilization from the dead. The week ends and the Guardian has control of the past spirits, ushering them back into their afterlives. The Spirit World has returned to normal.

Sabre begins plans to building a city for all of them. He forgives the villains for the past, as long as they promise to not go around destroying worlds and dimensions. Ideally not killing anyone either. But as construction of the city goes, Sabre is stuck in recalling how he got here in the first place. He watches as the broken world is once again flourishing.

To put it simply, real life people have these metaphorical crystal hearts representing their souls. Creators like Elan sometimes have part of their soul broken off into their creations.
Specifically, he had a small part thrown into his Minecraft roleplays. Starting with Assassin's Creed. If a soul is fused with a creation like the roleplays, the main character comes alive.

SS!Sabre is aware. He recalls talking to us, and questions some of the things he's said and known. Which leads down the rabbit hole.
To realizing he is neither SS!Sabre as a character, nor a "real person" like IRL Sabre.
Yeah. Pretty much, this AU is overpowered Sabre having an existential crisis and bringing people back to life.
But wait! There's more!

Coming to terms with the truth, of being the creation of himself and another in the real world, Sabre has discovered the multiverse. He tries to venture out to the middle of the multiverse, where the real world sits, but finds out that he can't go back. There are impossible-to-enter walls surrounding our universe.

And now Sabre can enter any universe. But rather than being able to go into just a n y place, he creates an alternate copy.
Like a game save, he can overlay a copy of a universe he and his friends have traveled to with a new one. He can delete and create them as many times as he likes.
Essentially, Sabre can create three copies of a world, AU or not.
I told ya this was an OP!Sabre AU.

The rest of this AU consists of the creation of the Rainbow City, where the SS cast lives. Colored Steves went out into the world and set up new villages. The world is blooming.
Sabre builds, finds, and invents technology he used to have in other series, as well as the real world.
Sometimes they go on adventures through universes.

My oldest crossover AU. The Haunting/The Haunted is an old MC roleplay featuring Herobrine. I have yet to finish watching the old version in like a year but it's a pretty good series.

The OG Body Horror AU

Not sure I'd say this was an OG body horror AU. But it is weird.
Includes Sabre and Alex, in the real world. Sabre touches a paper with a weird portal drawn on it and he "merges" with it, turning into a paper drawing. He can leave the paper and basically turn into a 2D life-sized person.

They end up back in Minecraft, and they find either Galaxy Steve as a tiny person and Rainbow as a cat, or the other way around but Galaxy is a dog. Shenanigans continue and they find Light Steve as a giant.

Later Lucas is traversing a cave, but he's invisible. The Minecraft version of it too, so only his hat and the leather chestplate he made is visible. That is permanent too, so he can't get milk to fix it or something.

Also I'm pretty sure someone got genderswapped, but it wasn't Alex. She was the only fully normal one during all this chaos.

The Weirdest Adventure

Basically just merged the weirdest moments from Minecraft Trapped and the Steve Saga together into one mess.
We've got the Overseer as a sheep again, Francis gets turned into the cave demon again but this time he's still himself, Ivy slowly returns back to normal but it takes some time so she's basically an emotionless robot that follows what Sabre says.

Sabre himself is stuck in VR. He's stuck merged with Galaxy Steve again. He has the Dark Steve powers bottle in his inventory, which is now a backpack. He ends up tripping and falling in a hole and it gets smashed. He was the nearest entity so he absorbed the liquid.

Shadow Steve returns, and while traveling the group has to watch Shadow infect Sabre. Again. He still doesn't know how to get rid of it, and doesn't have the materials to unmerge himself from Galaxy, nor remove Dark's powers.

Oh and the whole time Rainbow Steve is a pickaxe. Yep.

Alsdo Sabre almost immediately meets the Purple Steve from SSO (Steve Saga Origins) who got turned into a chicken early on. He's still a chicken.

The Trapped Crossover

I remember that time where I was really into Minecraft books, especially when they involved real life people getting stuck in Minecraft. The books included Minecraft: The Island, the Gameknight999 series, and "Great Adventure Stories For Minecrafters," a mini series by Danica Davidson. All of them involved real-life people coming into the Minecraft world, and I merged all three series with Sabre's Minecraft Trapped series.

Yeah. Basically Rainbow Steve and Galaxy Steve appear when Victor is about to glitch out Sabre in MC Trapped and things go down just as you expect.

Every Steve Saga character has a different artstyle. Basically imagine writing a story, but the visuals for each character varies because they're each by different artists. And the characters are aware of this.

=====================Dream SMP========================

The Streamers (unnamed; mild body horror)

Some MCYTs look like their MC characters IRL. They hide their true selves because they're hunted by the government.
I believe this was my first dSMP AU.

The Meet-Up (body horror- closer to MCYT become characters IRL AU)

In this AU, the American MCYTs all live nearby each other, most are in the same city. Some of the British MCYTs also happen to live with them, like George lives with Dream and SapNap in the same apartment building as Karl and Quackity, and AntFrost and RedVelvet.

Tommy, Tubbo, Wilbur, and Philza went across to do this massive meet up with everyone on the SMP.

But the morning of, each are shocked to find they look like their SMP characters. This was before Alivbur's revival so Wilbur is Ghostbur.
Each has a certain item which lets them basically transform into their regular selves. But it only lasts for a certain time when they are outside. They all decide to come to the meetup anyways because plot.

Also their clothes don't get affected by any of this for no real reason. Even when BBH gets like twice his height his clothes just grow, with him.

The Guardian Of The Forest (Muffin Trio fantasy AU)

Based off a piece of BBH fanart by Weeshi on Twitter and a few comments on said art. One of my earliest AUs.

Skeppy and A6D decide to explore a town's forest. They were just recently recruited into the local guard.
They had learned a supposed demon guards the "gates" to the deep forest, so naturally they want to see this for themselves. They've been told by dozens of hunters that it is not something to mess with. But they do anyways.

However, as they travel deeper into the forest A6D is attacked by a wild animal. His friend injured, Skeppy calls out for help but quickly shuts up when he remembers the demon.

That's when he spots little muffin-shaped shadow creatures hiding in the bushes. Their rectangle little eyes glow white.

But as he is about to lose all hope, someone shows up.

The shadow demon himself, BBH.
No one had lived long enough to learn what it stands for.

But a soft voice asks to help.
BBH was able to wrap A6D's wounds well enough to stop his bleeding, but kindly asked Skeppy if he'd let him take A6D back home for proper treatment.

Reluctantly, Skeppy allows him. He didn't like the thought of his friend's life in a demon's hands but he couldn't think of any other options. He was better at traps and trickery, not healing.

Skeppy later asks why BBH helped them, despite having intruded on territory. A6D out cold in the bed, BBH explains the truth that he is a kind demon.

BBH admits that while he does protect the deep forest from people normally, it's only to give hunted animals sanctuary.
But the real reason is that there are creatures far less kind than him, deeper than he has ever allowed himself to go. He has to protect his family.

Each of the shadow muffins are a child. His parents left for the deeper forest, in hopes to keep the beasts within from returning to the outside. He had become old enough to stay on his own and protect the wilds and his siblings.

There were two particular entities he was given the names of.
They had once been ordinary fighters in their past lives, but now they were bloodthirsty monsters.

So. In this AU there are two people more powerful than BBH. This is a Dream SMP fic, so you can guess who they are ;)

Trapped In Minecraft But We're Stuck Together (Dream Team AU)

A Dream Team/Manhunt Team AU. One from the four hunter time period. Don't worry I think it's fairly chill beyond the possible design for SapNap/Dream/George.

Dream logs onto the server to start the new manhunt. SapNap and George happened to log on at the same time.
But y'know. They get trapped in Minecraft.
Essentially a cross between the "trapped in a game" AU and the MC challenge video with the three controlling one character.

So the Dream Team have to figure out how to deal with this situation. But then BBH and AntFrost show up.
Now. There's two options. We can go with the angsty option.
Where BBH and Ant are still in real life and think the trio is just Dream and they're doing a practice run b/c George and Sap are late.
Or they're in the game but they're still after Dream.

We can go with the chill option.
With BBH and Ant helping out the three of them while all five of them work together to defeat the dragon and/or escape.

I *could* make it include body horror...like with multiple limbs n stuff.
Or I can do just a normal character but with aspects of George, SapNap, and Dream's characters.
I personally like my Dream Team merge design with the body horror aspect. It's interesting.

But like most of my dSMP AUs have a body horror aspect so you can decide on that when the time comes.

The Monsters In The Cages Look A Lot Like Me (body horror AU)

The MCYTs live in a world where hybrids and supernatural beings exist. But it's hard to tell who are hybrids or related to supernatural beings, because the parents are almost always normal.

So there is a facility in the middle of nowhere. It decides to throw in all these various people they know or have hunch that they're not human. For the most part, they're right. Some, though, are not.

But those they aren't sure on may look completely normal except for one tiny trait. Like the ability to climb extremely well, glowing eyes, extreme flexibility, etc.

So to all of their subjects, they use a special injection which enhances these traits and potentially transforms someone into a completely inhuman creature.

But the thing is, these creatures have never been common. Someone once got a "creeper" head after an explosion, but they weren't the person it blew up. It's a slow process to research the supernatural beings hiding just outside civilization.

So what better way than find people who show even remotely any signs of being a hybrid of these beasts and force them to turn into the creatures?

For the most part, the staff are awful to their prisoners. But a few are kind. One head scientist forced her boss to get an outdoor area for the subjects.
That's when it just gets fun.

Minepocalypse (IRL MC Mobs apocalypse AU)

A Ranboo-centric AU. Across the world, Minecraft mobs have started to appear in the dark. It causes absolute madness, riots from sleep-deprived people scared to turn off the light.

But many streamers stay online. The internet doesn't shut down. But the world is in chaos.

Soon things die down and people are getting used to the new situation. Minecraft players get IRL loot chests, right by their bed. It refills once in a while with materials. The more skilled and/or better known you are, the better the stuff. But no OP things like Netherite and End Crystals.

Some people have started groups to find out if they can get to alternate dimensions and such. No one has returned from these groups. Although some consider that it just takes very long.

But the world is sort of stuck like this. It won't ever heal fully. People have however taken advantage of the aspect of Minecraft torches never burning out.

Until Ranboo goes out adventuring near the town's park and discovers someone he recognizes way too clearly.

The G̴̨̘̜̲̉͒a̸̼̥̱͊́ḿ̴̼̠̝̍ẹ̸̳̌̽̓  (trapped in VR/body horror AU)

Based slightly off vague dream I had. Essentially, a new VR game comes out and its creator makes updates in real-time while in a multiplayer game.
She turns out to not be all that she seems.
The game causes IRL devices to physically keep players trapped in the game.
The MCYTs have to venture out of the ever-expanding playable game area and into the desolate lands beyond. Where they discover the VR headsets were physically altered to cause IRL pain when they are hit by the invisible monsters roaming the area.
What they don't know is that Developer Girl is waiting for them to reach the far ends, because she saw their panic before they managed to end their streams. She knows they know.

But when they meet her, Ranboo is the first to experience the body horror feature- she forces his real life body to mutate a black and white tail and two horns. That kind of a thing continues with the rest until the end of the story. (7 dSMP AUs)

=====Minecraft=====

The Experiment: Part 1- Human-Mob Hybrids

Strange things are happening. Mobs of all kinds are being found acting far too human for comfort. What's stranger, they look weirdly human yet still clearly monsters, animals, and more.
New hybrids are given a chapter or a few in their POV, returning to our main character.
A young woman on the hunt to find out who has been killing every nonhuman living creature in the nearby lands. He had killed her whole herd of milk cows.
And left the remains in a chest with a note signed "your local science man."
She was out exploring in the rain when she comes across an odd looking iron golem. He's structured like any ordinary golem, yet his human hair/clothes and young face says otherwise.
There is a connection between the hybrids' stories and hers.
As she continues to find more hybrids, she begins to expand her home to care for these out of place creatures.
Until one day it is discovered that she is becoming HeroBrine. Not in a bad way though..
The growing powers are helpful in helping her new friends, and she wonders if that was what HeroBrine was meant to be.
A friend to the mobs.
Not a monster of hate and dark.
This weird little series thing is the best Minecraft story I have to offer.

(#80) The Experiment: Part 2- Human-Block Hybrids

This "sequel" features the main girl going to a friend's house, discovering that he has been sheltering several block hybrids.
The world expands further as the two try to help the hybrids get used to their new life and track down who caused these new hybrids. It's a new person or group this time.
The HeroBrine transformation gets worse, but the main is too caught up in the current situation to deal with it.
She came to this friend b/c he is basically a fanboy to HeroBrine, but even he doesn't know why she is suddenly gaining his powers as her eyes turn a glowing white.

The Experiment: Part 3- Human-Item Hybrids

The final part to this series takes to expanding the identity of the person or group that caused the block hybrids with starting off with the POV of an item hybrid.
This was when I also started showing more of the "average town" in this universe, showing the relationship between these normal villages and the hybrids/their allies.
This goes on to see what daily life is like for all the characters. That includes the hybrids, old and new. We see how the main deals with the new scenarios becoming the new HeroBrine host has led to. (idk what it will even be called, I'm not even planned out to this point.)
Also includes one of my random OCs, for some reason. They're not even a hybrid, so I have no idea why or how I managed to fit them in here. They're like- basically siamese twins.
