This is my way of introducing all my stories to you guys, without need for long explanations with all the details!
Well I may add an actual summary later.
This is more meant to be focused on the AUs, the original stories are mostly just here for me to keep track of them. Don't question why they exist or how. I don't know..most of the time.

The stuff in the parentheses- i.e. (body horror; dark themes) are more for the actual story than the description of each.

Know that commenting on what you want, or where you think changing something would make a story even better, it really helps me!

May have foul language and descriptions of gore/body horror.

Fun fact: I have exactly 71 Steve Saga/FavreMySabre AUs or OCs w/o AUs. Hehe what a madlad I am. An AU gremlin if you will!

One Disaster After Another (body horror AU)

The best AU I have yet to offer. Listen, I have put months of thought into this and I can say that ODAA is better than WTWM. I haven't made a n y plans for WTWM.
But this? Oh, this I have intricately woven each character into the big picture, strung their fates and backstories into the truth of their AU.

I have an idea of what each character looks like, acts like. How they became the Steve that they became. How their transformation from a human to a Steve affects the plot and brings light to new aspects of the blooming Steve race.
All of their families, their friends, their enemies. Each relationship tethered together into one beautiful masterpiece.

I have an exact idea of how I will write the story with so many POVs. How I will hint at the future right at the beginning. E v e r y t h i n g is planned. Of course not everything, but you get the point.

I explained a small portion of this AU to my grandmother. This 70 year old woman specifically said "I think we've got a new Ray Bradbury on our hands," when I finished telling the tale of two office worker buddies. Ending my intricate discussion of Sabre's stories as a whole and how detailed even the least complex AUs become through my own ability to create and recreate a single story again and again.

Okay enough bRaGginG. Into the storyline. Because oh man, you would not believe how this story came into existence.
Alright. This AU was originally a really old concept that each of the Steves had a phobia, and they had these due to being created from traumatic events.

Like a Red Steve was scared of his own powers b/c he was in a house fire. Yellow Steve hides under the table during thunderstorms b/c he got struck with lightning. Red has pyrophobia, while Yellow has astraphobia. (Fear of fire, fear of lightning.)

This AU is hella old, maybe even back to late 2019, when I first started drawing often again w/ Steve Saga fanart as my new topic. That may seem like it's not too old, but for me every month changes me and my art/creations. One month ago I would've never gotten around to making this book.

Three months ago I never would have thought I would write a book/fanfic (WTWM) and actually get anything done/get any clout for it.
So that was the origins of this AU. I didn't know I would ever make a return to it with a fantastic new look.
Now for the actual story.

Sabre is a bit of a rookie police officer. He was recruited and quickly became infamous for his skills in deescalating extreme situations, like getting someone to release a hostage by letting the criminal vent to him one-on-one about the disaster of the their life.
He also is known for his love of chickens, he is always seen wearing a chicken beanie or a chicken pin over his uniform. The kids call him the Father Hen, sometimes just Chicken Cop. "Father Hen" came about b/c of his friendly nature towards everyone.

The main setting is the town which he resides in. Over the course of the story, residents have caught themselves in less than ideal situations. Much like the phobia concept, they each transform into Steves through these supernatural and dangerous scenarios.
Sabre's first case is a man who was caught in the flames of his house, yet awoke alive within an untouched bedroom.

The man, confused and terrified, avoids the people looking for him in the rubble around this single room.. He attempted to run to the forest on the other side of town in hopes of finding sanctuary as he adjusts to his unnatural new form.

However people spot him on multiple occasions, being dubbed "Ghost Of The Flame" or "Red Demon," sometimes just "Fire Ghost" by the media. He tries to stay low, but even after reaching the forest, he has to get food from town. But then an observant crowd ruins his plans.
He finds himself trapped, surrounded by terrified civilians and police unwilling to lower their weapons. His freedom threatened, he lashes out against the crowd with new firepower.

Sabre arrives to the scene, reading facial expressions and body language before jumping into action. His first goal is to get in between the crowd and Red Steve.
He manages to avoid getting shot by either party, and attempts to calm the crowd and his fellow cops while soothing the clearly scared red creature before him.

The story continues with every single Steve Saga character.
Even villains like Dark, Nightmare, Void- have a backstory which explains why they are how/who they are. Each "disaster" of sorts that occurs to create the Steves (and the non-Steves) is unique to the character and their various canon info.

Also. This AU originated as concept art from like a year ago. I had an interest in phobias and listed down a bunch of interesting ones. I think what inspired me was the chicken phobia, it sent me off looking for ironic phobias that would work for the rest of the SS cast.

Then I ended up drawing this little two-panel pencil drawing, one with Red Steve surrounded by fire, leaning against a wall, scared.
The other had the image of a Yellow Steve being struck with lightning and a smaller panel showing him hiding under a table, freaking out while a thunderstorm is going on.
The paper was titled "Ironic disasters/fears/sensitivies/hatreds."

So yeah this thing has gone through some serious changes over time.

And I should mention I have essentially every single SS character here. I mean this literally. I'm currently working through Hypno Steve's backstory/first POV chapters, since he was an early villain in SSO.

I currently have formed some concept relationships involving Dark, Plague, Demon Steve, and others. Of course, not altogether but like- we've got a villain duo, an opposites make great friends duo, a falsely accused villain/morally gray villain ft. their caretaker, we've got a family break-up featuring one of the main families in SS.. I'm saying that I've got an idea for each character's role, design, relationships, what kind of worldbuilding their introduction brings..

I mean..I haven't drawn or written ANY of this. But I know it. I know how each character should move due to, say, injury or deformity. I know what job some of them had before they became Steves. I know why and how they got into the scenarios that resulted in their transformation. I know how their minds work..to a degree anyways, since I did take psychology last year, and have advanced psych this year.

Yeah. I may take  f o r e v e r  to write this, but once I do?
OH, that's what I wanna be known for.

Be warned, the rest of this is starting from the beginning to my end, all my weirdest and oldest stories. Quality varies heavily.

On The Run (first ever AU; IRL reality shift AU 1, or rs AU)

This was my very first AU. From maybe 2019, early 2020 perhaps.
The entry for this reads as this, with a few changes:

"Sabre/Elan is just starting high school. He was doing the Steve Saga at the time, perhaps around the early Elemental arc. Rainbow Steve was exploring when he finds a mysterious portal while Sabre was disconnected.

Rainbow enters and steps into a strange world- Sabre's world! Sabre keeps Rainbow hidden in his bedroom and brings him to school, just in case his parents looked in his room.
However, someone (like the police) had someone noticed something (or someone) not of Earthly origins enter Sabre's house via his computer.

The police come to his house one weekend morning, when Sabre was planning to introduce Rainbow Steve to his parents as a friend in need of shelter. The police questioned his parents.

Oddly, Sabre was fully prepared for this and sneaked himself and Rainbow Steve to his parent's car and drove off.
His parents are extremely forgetful, to the point of forgetting their own license plate.

Cue Sabre and Rainbow running from the police, living out of their car, and Rainbow learning how to act human."

Later on, they meet an adventurous teenage girl named Ruth-Ann in a shopping mall, who is fascinated by their adventures in the Minecraft world and their new one in the real world.
She takes them to her lesbian adoptive parents' diner.

Her moms, Betty and Autumn, are older gals but they can still kick some a*s. Betty has some supernatural gear to make some disguises for the two boys, and she has a large wooden spoon she sharpened on one end that could stab someone's eye out.
Her hair is gray and curly, and she has this sort of short, round grandma who knits vibe to her.

Her wife, Autumn, is a bit younger but she still is just as bada*s. She has longer, more wavy brown hair, she's African American. She always carries a pocketknife in her apron pocket. She usually works the counter while Betty cooks.
They've kept secrets of other..interesting customers over the years. Not actual criminals, but not-so-normal people looking for shelter.

Galaxy Steve somehow ends up on Earth and Light Steve (who is injured) appears in Sabre's house and meets his parents.

Lost In A FairyTale (reality shift AU 2)

Sabre finds an old fairytale book in the woods. Flipping through the pages, he realized it was a human fairytale book.
Excited, he returns to the big shared house where he lives with all the Steves. Yes, even the villains. He begins reading a classic fairytale to them, when they're all sucked into the story! Rainbow Steve is the dragon in the castle, with Alex as the princess.

Sabre travels with Galaxy Steve, as a knight upon his horse. They find Rainbow and Alex chilling in the castle, waiting for something to happen.

Life's going well, but sometimes Sabre sees "glitches" - moments where he feels like paper, sometimes he melts into a simple drawing. He sometimes sees the world disappear into a paper illustration and words.

Call Of The Void (dad Void AU)

AU of a Daycare fanfic called Change Of Fate, by Pinkcrystalwarrior. For a while I had it in my library a year or so ago, and had no idea what the plot was beyond "Void Steve is Sabre's dad." Read the book and loved it, but this is an AU based on what I thought the fic would be like.

The entry I have for this was simply: "What if Void raised Sabre? And Sabre helps out the 'family'; Dark, Nightmare, Shadow, etc. Then he finds out how evil they are, and Rainbow finds him."

So basically this AU is dedicated to the Steve Saga side of the fic.
Void is Sabre's adoptive father, and he and the various other villains of the Steve Saga are part of the same group. Sabre likely has powers despite probably being human, and not being Void's biological son.
I can assume that the entry was meant to say that Sabre was sort of uninformed about Void and the others' deeds and their intentions. And so when he uncovered info he wasn't supposed to see, he runs away. Eventually being found by Rainbow Steve.

I think I recall Rainbow and Light (maybe even Galaxy) being leaders of a little walled village, basically the Rainbow Town but more people and less machines.
And when Rainbow brings Sabre to the village, the residents are not at all subtle in their negativity towards the boy.

Until there comes a time when Void has come to take back his son.

Sabre refuses, despite being treated so poorly by the village people. Instead he uses his abilities to protect and defend the village singlehandedly when his old family attempts to destroy it in order to "cleanse his mind." His abilities include summoning dark crystal formations.

(#10) Steve Saga High (high school AU)

Much like ODAA, this AU involves many of the Steves but this time, in a high school AU.

The original entry for this says this: "The Steves and humans coexist in the same world, but tensions are high. Sabre gets invited to Steve Saga High, the local Steve high school. Confused but intrigued, he accepts. And when he arrives, he's the talk of the whole neighborhood."

Essentially speaking, his parents aren't all they seem. Sometimes Sabre swears he hears a soft ticking when he leans against his mom for a hug. His father always hides his eyes like Sabre does.

Is that why he was invited to join these Steves?
He's not sure..

What he does know is that if word gets out that he's going here, he'll be the outcast in both communities.

I Don't Know How To Rule! (Half sh*tpost royalty AU; rs AU 5)

An AU I nearly forgot in my August 8 edition. Underwater reminded me of this; both AUs feature Sabre getting stuck in an alternate dimension where everything is completely different.
Here, Sabre awakes to sitting upon a throne overlooking a massive, fancy room. He immediately freaks out, because he was just a fool that managed to save the world in his normal life. As usual, in both dimensions everyone is already alive and knows Sabre.

Sabre ends up excusing himself, managing to find his room based on how fancy the entrance is. There's a fancy rug leading out of it. And it's also got a tiny, weirdly fancy label with "king's quarters" on it.

He sits on his bed, trying to comprehend how he even got here or why he's suddenly a king. He takes off his crown, looking at it in his hands. He looked at his reflection with it on in the mirror, realizing he was no longer in his dimension.

King Sabre was of course a kind guy. But he's a king, so of course he wasn't gonna be your average joe with a crown. It took seeing Ghost Steve as a young servant, small and in rags for Sabre to realize that.

He had heard the door open and a soft voice he recognized ask "are-are you alright sire?"

At first, Sabre was outraged at the sight of seeing his friend as his own servant. But he recalled how kings almost always have such things, no matter how kind they are. So he let Ghost in.

Sabre tried his best to explain that he wasn't the king. But he couldn't explain it simple enough for Ghost to understand that he was not a fake but was from an alternate dimension. All he knew was that his king was worrying him and he needed to get someone else to understand the nonsense spewing out of his mouth.

So after he tried to calm him down, Ghost left to fetch Rainbow Steve, one of the princes. Prince Rainbow understood better what Sabre was talking about, but didn't know why or how this man knew so much of something he definitely didn't know much about.

But he understood enough to comfort his best friend.

The Five Elements (semi-heavy body horror AU)

AU surrounding the five base colors of the Steve Saga. Imagine the basic concept of ODAA, with humans turning into Steves. Basically people transforming into colorful humanoid elemental creatures.

Now take that, and have the base colors transform into their actual elements. No humanoid-looking creatures here.

Red Steve is a firey figure, burns whatever he touches.
Yellow Steve is made of pure electricity. He accidentally zapped his friend when they came in to check on him.

Green Steve is made of vines mostly. He can't do much, but he's one of the only ones who can actually touch stuff without serious consequences. Unlike ODAA Green, who looks more like a humanoid green tree.

Blue Steve is water. Water that can take the form of a vaguely human shape. That's pretty much all.
Purple Steve is one I haven't decided on yet. He's basically magic. I don't know how I would physically represent that, but he doesn't like water much cause teleport = enderpearl = Enderman.

Also there's this note thing that I don't know how to explain:

"Red - fire, fear of criticism
Yellow - electricity, fear of negativity
Green - vines, ????
Blue - water, obsession of knowledge
Purple - magic (glowy person??), fear of individuality"

I don't exactly know how it's relevant to the AU, but I know those were my basic notes to remember this concept.
