Chapter 19
He cursed in Romani under his breath as seeing two Robeast coming towards them and Wally picking him up and running towards Blue. Both entered and like always Wally decided to put him in between the legs. He wasn't minding it and it was way safer this way. They both gave each other a nod. This would be a fight that was dangerous.

"Dam that was a close call." Wally joked and he snorted at this.
"Was that a pjo reference?" He joked back knowing precisely that it was one. Both snickered but soon his face fell as seeing Honerva was draining the guardian's life force. His heart painfully stung as seeing it get destroyed.
"Oh, she will so pay." He gritted through his teeth. It was not alright, and Wally gave him a hair ruffle at this. The two Robeast starting to dash towards them.
"Oh great." He muttered sarcastically as grimacing in pain. It wasn't helping that they now see different realities. This was bad and he feared that whatever Honerva was planning could end this and any other realities. Wally was hugging him a bit tighter now from behind and he could tell that he was as tense. But his body relaxed into the touch.

"What the hell." He choked out as seeing the damn robot that had been used by Lotor. This just meant one thing he was back. It was making his eyes widen.
"That's really bad." Wally said and both had horror in their eyes realizing that this had been her plan all along. Now they at least know why she needed that much of Quintessence, but something told him that there was more behind this.
"Paladin's attack." Keith screamed and he swallowed thickly as both clashed each other. This was bad and he feared that this won't end up well.

He wheezed out as opening his eyes. God this was bad and to make this worse the others weren't answering his calls. Wally was unconscious still and he gritted his teeth.
"Blue please answer." He coughed a few times but even now it wasn't reacting. This was why he breathed out. It was time to end her. Time to end this all and he wasn't caring that he would have blood on his hands. He gave his boyfriend a quick kiss and then leaving out of Lion.
In the end he couldn't do it. Not when she was holding Lotor back. Because when he would have killed her, Lance would have died. This was why he screamed loudly and tears streaming down. As punching the ground, making a small dent.
He dashed back inside of his Lion to see Wally look at him in concern, but he shook his head and having an angered look on his expression. The male gave him a look that told him that they will have a talk later on, but he puffed his cheeks not saying anything. Their position was back to how it was.
"You there, my siblings?" His voice stayed neutral and betrayed no emotions. Everyone gave an answer and he let out a relieved sigh.
"We need to get out of here now." He said and everyone agreed. His tone still the same and Wally bored holes in him. They barely escaped and his mood was sour because he failed. It was his fault that now every reality will pay the price.

He had been avoiding everyone, even his boyfriend. Yes, he knew it wasn't the best idea, but he just couldn't talk to them. The fear of them faulting him for not stopping Honerva was enough to feel too guilty. It would break his heart. So, he had avoiding them now for three days straight, not the easiest thing when you are living in a spaceship.
Dickie had also not talked at all. The guilt was nagging on him and he starting to get frustrated with himself. Because he knew that what he was doing was the same thing that he had done when Wally 'died'. Not that the male knew this. Or when his parents had died and him not talking at all.
.

.
"Alright, that is it Richard." Keith stopped him from walking out of the training room. The male gave him a stern brother look. The same look Tim, Damian or Jason had given whenever he was doing something not healthy.
"We are going to talk now." Keith took his wrist and starting to drag him to the mentioned male room. Then he was pushed softly on the bed and the male folding his arms together but not yet saying anything.
"I am going to point the elephant in the room." A pause was given from Keith before he started to talk again. "Why were you avoiding everyone, even your boyfriend?" Keith said with concern, yet the sternness stayed.
His gaze avoided the other male at all cost. Nothing was getting out of his mouth and he really wasn't wanting to talk about this. But he knew how stubborn the male was. But two people can play that game. Because he was as stubborn.
"I swear Richard I will get your father into this." The threat made him wince and he knew that the male would do this. So, he bit his lips and starting to look around for an exit, but he knew that he couldn't. Not with him standing right in front of the door.
"You need to talk, and I am not letting you leave until you did." The male huffed out and once again he stayed silent, but he knew that this wasn't good. It wasn't good for his health. His thought interrupted as he heard the door open.
"Oh." Lance tone was surprised, and he swallowed thickly. Two people who would not stop pushing until he would talk. The worst was that Lance had almost died.
"Come on, Richard. You need to talk." It was said more softer and he shook his head. There was a beat of silence and he knew that the other two couple were talking through looks.
"Let me guess." Lance suddenly talked. "It has to do with the fact that Honerva won." Lance guessed and he winced because this was partly reasons of his silence.
"I guess you were right about this, huh?" Keith said with concern and he still had not the heart to look at the two. Both were let out a sigh and he felt himself in a hug from Lance, and Keith ruffled his hair.
"We aren't mad at you. Hell, you ended up rescuing Lance life." Keith said softly and his eyes widen and for the first time in three days he looked at them with pure surprise. The two had both soft looks and he felt awful for ignoring the two.
"Great now you made him cry, good job Mullet." Lance huffed out and he blinked a few times realizing that he was indeed crying. This made him cry harder. Sobs wracked through his body and buried his face into the chest of the male hugging him. With Lance whispering reassuring words and at some point, his eyes dropped, and he fell asleep.

Something warm was hugging him and his first reaction was snuggling into that warm. The next thing he realized was the familiar scent of his boyfriend. This made his eyes open instantly and he felt his throat tighten not even one word escaped. There was a shift and he felt a hand go soothingly through his hair.
"I am not mad at you." Wally soothed but he could tell that this had hurt him. So that this made him feel guilty. "I know why, and you shouldn't have bottled this up, you know?" He added soon and he couldn't look at the mentioned male.
There was a silence between each other, and both knew that there was a massive elephant in the room that needed to be talked about. But he wasn't sure that he could get something out. It reminded him of his child time.
"You know your being back again hiding how you really feel." Wally said softly. "And I hate it that you didn't think about talking to me. I am your best friend yet boyfriend." His voice sounded hurt and he bit his lips feeling horrible now.
"M'sorry." His voice croaked and the male shushed him and kissing the top of his head. He tightens his hold slightly and feeling guilty.
"I know, and this is why you are so damn similar to your father." Wally said with a slight muse. "You two always hide your emotions and I expected this to happen when you entered after coming back from Honerva." Wally let out a sigh and there was another silent before he slowly started to talk. The male stayed silent and at the end there was a sigh.
"Yup, I so knew it." Wally said with an exasperated fondness and he felt his cheeks heat up slightly at this.
"Alright, first you take a shower, change your clothes, eating something and then we go to our friends and talk it out, alright?" Wally said softly and he nodded. Their hug left and he felt on edge. But he knew that he had to. They were like a second family and he felt still guilty about this. They had a heart felt conversation and it ended up in a group hug and reassurance. Even Keith joined, but more with him and Lance pulling the male into the cuddle pile.
It reminded him of Dami who wasn't that good with these kinds of things as well. But he still was showing his love in his own kind of way. They ended up falling asleep on each other and he was feeling lighter now. Yet the nightmares weren't stopping but this was fine because he had the others to help him out with this.
