Chapter 17
Dickie huffed out as hearing that they're meeting place would be something called Baltuf Nebula with Atlas. But he really wasn't sure. His gut felt queasy again and he felt like something would go wrong. It always goes wrong, and he couldn't help but feel tense up.
But they're meeting place suddenly changed to a different planet. An odd and weird thing and he felt something wasn't right. A sense of dread washed over him as if something horrible would happen when they stayed.
"Guys I-I-I don't think i-it will go well..." He bit his lip and Wally gave him a hair ruffle and a reassuring look.
"Come on it will turn out just fine, or we just will wing it." He heard Lance say with a cheerful yet reassuring tone. But he couldn't help but feel a dread wash over him. Even after landing on the planet.
"I am tel-telling you. So-Something isn't right." His tone was tense, and body slightly shook. Even with Wally trying to reassure and the others as well.
"Li-Like why would Shiro change th-the rendezvous point to-to this pla-place." He stuttered badly over his words and it showed how anxious he was. It wasn't helping that Hunk pointed the same thing out. Something wasn't right. It was just the way how Shiro talked was not like the Shiro he felt. Because he not once felt anxious when hearing his voice.
"I-I-I-I am telling you. Something ab-about the way Shiro talked wa-wasn't cutting right wi-with me." He stressed out and Wally pulled him a bit tighter in a hug.
"We should have listened to Dickie. His instincts are usually always right, and I feel like we are missing something as well. It was too strange, and he is right. Shiro sounded well less like him. It was his voice but the way he talked was odd." Wally pointed out. Not to mention that this place had high CO2 and low oxygen in the atmosphere which meant that they couldn't go out there without their suit.
"Nope I-I-I don't think tha-that this is a good idea with me." He said and Wally glanced down on him. Both knew about his past medical condition. It would not fend up well with him having in the past Asthma. It hadn't shown anymore, and he grew out of this, but it could always come back.
"We will be fine." Keith soothed and this was all that was said because Atlas was finally there, but his gut felt even more queasy and he shuddered violently. Wally pepper kissed him, and he giggled slightly at this.
"There now you smile." Wally whispered and he felt his heart flutter in joy and also feeling his cheeks heat up slightly. The male continued goofing around, that was until the ship changed into a Galra fleet and with this he groaned out and muttering 'I so knew it.'
"We immediately have to airborne." Keith said and soon added. "This is a trap." Which held a tense undertone and he cursed under his breath as starting to follow the others. His lion ended up pulled down on the gravity and he tried to get it away, but it was not working.
"See called it." He yelped out and muttering a few more profanities at them ending up in a situation like this. That was why he was always listening to his instincts. They were what had rescued his ass many times and Wally pressed his lips together and looking as nervous.
"Wa-Wait that is a bad-" He stopped talking as knowing that the emergency ejection was a better idea then staying there and getting caught again. Not something that he wanted nor Wally.
So that Wally picked him up and running out of the lion. And then starting to fly away following the others. He concentrated and using his impulse to turn off the enemy's ships and huffing out as they continued to fly away.

"The beam has the lions pinned." He heard Hunk say and he shivered feeling really uncomfortable right now. There was also the fact that he could just hope that they would end up having to leave their suits. Because it would so not be good for him. All he hoped that he wouldn't end up back with his Asthma. A shiver going through his body at the thought. He started to concentrate and turn of instantly using his impulse to destroy the robots or whatever this is.
"Pidge do something, please." He yelped out as starting to feel adrenaline going through his body. Pidge nodded and starting to tinker on something. As they starting to move again. His eyes looked around and he was pretty sure that they were so screwed. It was just that he felt like there was no way that they could escape. But in the end, it still managed to detect them.
"This is Galra tech, but it had been infused with Okari tech. The subatomic micro-filament is single modulated before it goes through its attenuator. Wow!" Pidge explained after she hacked into it. He furrowed his brows and feeling really anxious now.
"I don't ca-care that it's amazing. Thi-This thing almost killed us!" He yelped out and Wally pulled him into a side hug. His body melted and leaned into his boyfriend's touch.
Pidge also explained that this thing could track their suits and that was hella bad. It meant that they would be so screwed. Even with his knowledge of hacking he wouldn't have enough time to change the encryption protocol. They would have to remove their armor and bayards.
"Not an option with me. I don't thi-think that it's a go-good idea." He mumbled and Wally gave him a concerned glance.
"It should be fine. You didn't have one in a while." Wally pointed out and his boyfriend had a point but, in this environment, it could bite him into his ass.
"It's our only way." Pidge said and he pressed his lips in a thin line because he knew the chance of survival was higher.
"Okay." He mumbled not liking it and Wally furrowed his brows and thinking about it surely too.
"Look I don't like it either, but we will die either way. I know it's not ideal but like you said it should be fine." Dickie said reassuringly and he wasn't going to hold everyone back.
"Okay let's just hope so." Wally said with a heavy sigh. Because he was surely thinking about the same thing as he. How could this always happen to them? Not to first time. So that he just had to stay whelmed and traught.

His breathing was a bit heavy by now and he knew that he wasn't sure how long he could hold in. Other's didn't have that issue but him. God this entire thing sucks. Wally squeezed his hands in a reassuring way but he just wasn't sure how long he could hold on.
"You good?" Lance and Keith said at the same time. Both had eye contact and puffing their cheeks out. It was making him chuckle and giving them a reassuring look.
"I...will be." He had a pause and the two knew with this that he wasn't too good. Wally furrowed his brows and giving him a concern look. Because his boyfriend knew that he had troubles breathing, more than others. There was also the fact that they were kind of lost, but he looked around, but he just couldn't' figure out where the way was. That was until Lance pointed out a direction thanks to the volcano.
"You're a genius, my sharpshooter." Keith said with a grin as he gave him a kiss on his lips. He seen Lance cheeks slightly turn pink and he cooed at this interaction. These two were made for each other. When pulling away, Lance grinned brightly.
"Awe, thank you my cute mullet." It was said in a chirping tone and he chuckled but soon a few coughs went out. Wally rubbed his back and it took him a moment to get his breathing back.
"You sure that you're alright?" Lance asked with a concerned undertone and he waved him away. They ended up getting shot at and Wally scooped him up as starting to dash away. To make this worst, they ended up falling through the ground and Wally plus him ended up with Lance.
By now he was wheezing, and Wally was carrying him the entire time. This wasn't good and both knew this. Lance glanced at him from time to time and he felt lightheaded.
"He wasn't alright, was he." Lance gave a glance towards him and he wanted to say something but cough's went out.
"No, I think we should hurry, or Dickie might not make it." Wally said with a concerned expression. Lance looked at him with pure horror. Because he knew that he was paler then usual and he knew that his boyfriend was right.
"You carry him, and I will give back up." Wally soon added and he wasn't feeling aster at all nor whelmed. God he was so screwed. His body was put in another pair and he leaned into the touch trusting him.
"Alright we, better hurry then." Lance said with concern. He made both of them invisible and Wally took down the two other enemies. His coughed a few times once again and Lance glanced down.
"Look there is the Atlas." Wally sounded relieved and he felt the same way. They ended up rescued, but he still coughed harshly and his asthma wasn't making it easy for him.
"Shiro we need medical attention now." Lance instantly bombarded the mentioned Male.
"He needs an oxygen mask and some medication for Asthma." Wally was heard mentioning, but he couldn't breathe well. The rest was a blur for him.

His eyes slowly opened, and he finally could breathe again. It took a few moments for him to realize that he was at the med bay and another thing he realized was; that everyone from the Voltron team was sitting there and silently whispering with each other. The first person realized that he was awake was Wally who held his hands. Green eyes lightning up and he smiled slightly at him. The male looked relieved and the others held the same expression.
"You scared us." Shiro said with a relieved smile.
"Well I guess that was so not aster." He joked and Wally snorted at this as giving him a kiss on his temples.
"You can say this but at least we managed to survive." Wally said with a lighter tone and he was relieved to know that the Atlas managed to come to our rescue.
"I think without the Atlas we all would not have survived or at least I wouldn't have." His voice was light yet there was also something tense in it, because this had been one of the closer times.
"Well, glad to see that you haven't lost your spark." Keith said with a slight smile. A smile that showed how relieved he was right now.
"Yup, glad to see my small brother being well." Lance cracked a grin after saying this and the same relive was shone in his blue eyes. There was also the other who said the same thing.
"You will have to take medications, until your asthma calmed down. Being without your suit has aggravated it." Pidge spoke carefully and he grimaced at this. Knowing his luck, it could be months until he would be better.
"Whelp could be worse." He jokingly said and the others shook their head fondly. He still had to stay in this dreading room, even when he doesn't like it. But at least he had Wally to help with his boredom.
