A groaned slipped out as he slowly woke up. Body felt sore but he realized that he was alive. This was making his eyes snap open. His gaze going around and realizing that he was at the hospital. The next thing he realized that there were his family and Wally. The male held his hands and the others were waking up.

They all stared first at him and Wally looked the most relieved of the others. A kiss was given on his cheeks.

"You did it but don't ever scare me like this, Richard." Wally said with a relieved tone and he knew that it had hit him hard because of him calling his full name and not the nickname.

"Jeez you scared the living hell out of us all. Also, you guys ended up rescuing the Earth. So good job." Jason said with a bright grin. His cheeks flushed at this but soon his brows furrowed.

"Um h-how- no, uh where ar-are my sibling?" He couldn't help but say and the others blinked at this and staring at him.

"Let's just say we ended up with a family bond or most of them. Anyway, they are safe. A bit banged up, but they will survive this with a bit rest." Wally reassured and he relaxed and realizing that they managed to defeat them. His father ruffled his hair, which led to him shrink down but soon leaning into the touch.

"You did great Dick, am proud of you." Bruce said with a small smile and he could feel his heart swell in joy.

"Th-Thanks, Tati." He timidly answered. They talked a bit more and most left other than Wally. They ended up cuddling with each other and he couldn't care less right now. The door opened and his gaze went over to see that most of his old team were entering.

Will blinked and soon looking at him with a knowing expression. His cheeks flushed and it wasn't helping that Artemis was also there. Then there was Megan and Connor. Let's just say it ended up with them congratulating him and also teasing the living hell out of him.

Next were the justice league who had done the same and even they teased the two. But everyone knew that he was different than what they knew. It was obvious with him being stutter and avoiding talking about what happened in his captivity. Dinah on the other hand was in the end telling him that he should talk about it. He had told her that Wally knows and with this she had not mentioned it for now.

Wally and him where watching the broadcast of the conference of what Shiro was saying. It was making have even more determination. His gaze went over to Wally and both gave each other a nod. He will follow the other Paladin's even when it kills him. He was ready to be the defender of the universe.

"Jeez that was so sappy." Wally joked and he couldn't help but snort and snuggling himself deeper in the arms of the mentioned male.

"Ye-Yeah but it gives other's hope." He said softly and the male went through his hair. His body relaxed more.

It took a few weeks-months for them finally have some normality with helping out the people rebuild cities etc. (No clue how long it was in cannon, even when I watched the series so it can be longer or shorter)

Both him and his boyfriend were laying on the couch and cuddling with each other. They both watching a movie together and he wasn't paying too much attention on the movie but on his boyfriend. The male was going through his hair and sneaking from time to time kisses. Nothing was said between each other that was until now.

"Let's go on a date." Wally chirped and he blinked owlishly at this. By now he was back to health, but his mental health still had suffered. This was why he had been going to Dinah for sessions.

"Uh su-sure but where?" He asked timidly and Wally grinned brightly at this.

"How about we go to the beach?" His head tilted slightly as he asked him this and cheeks flushed a bit more at his boyfriend. God he was adorable.

"I d-dunno..." His voice soft and anxiousness heard in it. The reason was his scars. There were many and he wasn't sure that he would want to show anyone his scars, other than Wally. The male seemed to like them but for him it was still a touchy subject.

"Don't worry about your scars, they are actually something that shows how strong you are." Wally said softly and giving him a kiss on his hand.

"You are still continue fighting and not many can do this and also you had scars before us getting caught." Wally pointed out and he thought about it and biting his lips, but he couldn't say no to a face who looked at him that adorningly.

"Fi-Fine..." He mumbled with his cheeks flushed deeply and the male gave him a bright grin. It was making his heart flutter at how adorable the male right now looked.

"Talking about date, do you think that Keith and Lance have talked it out yet?" Wally asked with a curious undertone and he wondered that as well. Today was their last night on Earth. This was making him have mixed feelings knowing that it could take years for him to be back.

The thought alone was making him want to stay but he knew he couldn't. He was after all the blue Paladin and as one he couldn't stay here. They need him to form Voltron. It was making him feel needed and they have all been busy with their families but stayed in contact per group chat. Sometimes even met together in his home. As it was big enough to meet up.

"I hope so. These two had enough time." A huff went out and he wondered what as well had happened with the Altean who had been used to control this robot. He knew this person and from what he knew from Romi was that Luca and her never were really friends.

"You good?" Wally asked as giving him a concerned expression. His gaze went over and he let out a sigh and shrugging.

"I am doing alright just....the Altean I know her from Romi and I am worried for her." He softly said and Wally nodded at this. All they could do was wait for Luca to wake up, but he had no idea what happened to her.

"Enough with that glum look, let's get Keith and Lance and drag them to the beach." Wally let go before he could even react and vanishing. A pout was formed as he really wanted nothing more than them not finding out about his scars.

"Master Dick want me to make some snacks for the beach?" Alfred asked and he jumped slightly in the suddenness of his voice. His gaze went over, and he nodded shyly with a "Ye-Yes please."

He made himself ready and feeling nervous at this because he had no idea how their reaction would be. Wally knew from them anyway and he had made it clear from the very beginning that his scars are something that are a part of him. That they are not something that he should be ashamed of but be proud of because it showed that he was a fighter. It showed that he was strong.

His gaze went towards the mirror and he let out a sigh. God this was something that he wasn't wanting to show others, but he should. It was a part of his and he was sure that it would be fine. With this he put on sun cream and starting to change into bathing shorts and a shirt.

"Jeez your boyfriend is pushy." Pidge said and he snapped his head with a flushed expression.

"Wait did he- oh god..." He felt his entire face heated up more and the female gave him a soft expression.

"You don't need to hide the scars from us, ya know. Heck even Shiro has them nothing to be ashamed of." Pidge said with a soft smile.

"I-I know..." He softly said and the two walked out to see that Wally had not just dragged Pidge but the entire team of Voltron.

"Wally the heck? I thought you said just La-Lance and Keith." He yelped out too surprised at this all.

"Lance had the idea and I went with it, my bad." Wally sheepishly replied and he huffed out and puffing his cheeks out.

"Fine but say something about my scars and I am leaving." He huffed out and the conversation shifted towards the Keith and Lance.

"So uh we are official." Lance said with a slight pink tone and Keith looked as flushed.

"Finally, took you way too long." Wally huffed out and soon everyone congratulated. They ended up going to beach. Let's just say it ended up in pure chaos as soon the people of Young Justice, Justice league starting to come and even his family. This could just end up in pure chaos.

Yet at the same time it was fun, but he could tell that they were at first horrified about his scars, but no one said anything about them. They all ended up going their separate way, other than Young Justice, his family and Wally's family ended up sitting one last time together.

They conversed a bit. Wally decided to come with him, and he was glad about this. It was one big and chaotic meal and he wouldn't have it any other way. They ended up watching a movie together and falling asleep in a huge cuddle pile.

Bruce constantly was bugging him about him having everything. He huffed out and giving him a pout as answering with each yes. The male ruffled his hair and his brother weren't making it easier. Each of them was teasing him and he flushed deeply.

They ended up hugging him and he was for sure going to miss them all, but he couldn't stay on Earth. There are others who suffer because of Galra and he would make it his damn job to stop them and help bringing peace, even when it would kill him.

Then they flown away, and he could just hope that Earth will be alright without Voltron or Atlas.
