Chapter 13 part 2 (Rewritten)
They ended up at a place that looked like a living room and by now the other had carried him on his back. A thing he was grateful for as he was not liking being carried on the shoulder. It made him dizzy. Slowly he was put on the couch and instantly relaxed and looked up at the second oldest brother with a thankful look.
"Alright Dickie, now that we're alone; talk." The tone was something familiar Jason had used but with him being in his other mindset he was feeling like the other man was mad at him. His body tremored and his lips quivered.
"You're being a meanie..." He grumbled out giving the other a glare.
Jason blinked and stared at him, obviously not expecting this reaction. His brother had none of this and narrowed his eyes.
"Richard John Grayson I am not a meanie." The tone was sharp and it was also not helping the glare that was given back.
He swallowed feeling like he messed up now entirely. Now for sure Jason would not like him anymore. The thought of the other hating him made the tears slowly build up and soon he was breaking down with big tears rolling down.
"What the fuck did you do, asshat?" The tone of Dami was not helping because even when he had not all memories he knew that this could lead to arguments.
Arguments he wasn't wanting to and making him cry harder now. Hiccups went out and he felt it difficult to breathe. Richard was occupied so that he had not realized that by now someone was rushing over him. That was until he felt someone hugging him and making him latch onto the person, out in distress. Because someone who would hug him for sure would for sure not going to hurt him. Or that was in his childish mindset.
"Hey, D what did the idiot do to upset you?" It was now that he realized it was Timbers and his eyes sniffed.
"Being a meanie, he-he hic he sounded mad, an-and was really not sounding nice." He was saying this between his sobs and barely could answer with how hysteric he was.
"Okay, how about you calm down Dickie?" Timbo soothed by rubbing soothing circles on his back.
But how could he calm down when feeling like Jay was hating him now? The insecurity was not letting him calm down. It also was not helping that the two by now were full-on an argument. Leading him to bury his face into the other's face trying to block everything off.

His consciousness slowly woke up as snuggling into the arms of whoever it was. But soon his memory caught up on him and he knew that he would have to explain this. A shudder went through his body at the thought of them rejecting him. But he also felt thankful that Timbo had tried to help him out.
His eyes slowly opened and taking a bit for his sight to adjust but when it was done he saw that he was in a bed and hugging someone. Who it was made him flush deeply as realizing that he was still clinging onto Timbo. The male raised his eyebrow in a questioning manner and he could feel the heat raising even more.
"You back from whatever this was?" The tone was with concern and making this not better. At least he knew that he cared for him which made his lips slightly twitch up in a shy small smile.
"Kinda, sorry about this." He mumbled timidly and felt nervous now, as he wasn't really sure what their reaction would be.
"It's fine. We fast figured out what was going on." The voice of Jason made him wince and want to hide instantly.
"Yup, for once I agree and we apologize for causing you any distress." It was soon added by Timbo and to expect. The other two were not often apologizing or at least that was what he could remember from the memories he had.
"Alright, that's enough talking." The voice of his Dad made his cheeks heat up more. "We need to head to the depriving."
He knew that his Dad was not really liking this but he knew he had to come. So he let out a sigh as slipping out of the warmth. His gaze went over to his Dad and tilted his head.
"I am guessing that the Paladins will be there?" His voice was neutral but he also knew that later on there would be a talk about his breakdown. But for now, there was nothing that could be done with how this seemed to be important.
"Exactly and heard you are the blue paladin. Congrats Dickie." Timbo grinned brightly and the others also said the same thing.
Making his cheeks heat up more and this was all that was said as they headed to the place where they would have their depriving.

Richard really was not liking this all and that for a good reason. There would be way too many people and whatever they would converse would not be good. Yet he knew he needed to be there even when he realized how tired he was, but he was the blue paladin. The others of his second family were giving him worried glances and Wally was looking grumpy. He could just assume that he had not been able to be with him, meaning that it had been probably the batfam or maybe the other had not found him. Either way, he looked grumpy but when his eyes met with Wally's there was concern seen because he could tell that he was feeling tired, exhausted even.
Right now he was sitting next to Lance and Keith and not with his batfam, and he could tell that they weren't really liking this. But also knew that he would have to sit with them. Not that he minded this right now as he was fine with sitting with people he cared of.
Another thing was that he realized now that he had not yet eaten anything and he was sure that Wally was tempted to stop this to drag him to eat something. But he couldn't handle food anyway and he felt just not hungry. A surprise that none of the brothers had yet pointed his weight out, as he was for sure way lighter than what they were used to. Nor had he yet time to shower but that could wait as right now this was more important.
Gaze shifted to the screen as Samuel was explaining something and once again this reminded again how cruel these people were.
"Sendak's forces remain at bay, but without a meaningful supply line, we're slowly being suffocated."
"No one else is putting up a fight against Sendak?" Shiro asked soon afterward and anger was bubbling up at this person doing this to his home planet. Making him want to stop this person even more than before.
"Small underground pockets of resistance have attempted to do so and some of the heroes as well with varying degrees of success. Eventually, almost all were discovered and systematically wiped out." He heard an unknown woman say this and he was relieved that at least his family were still putting up a fight.
But there was also horrified to hear that the resistance have been wiped out. His fist clenched and teeth gritted out of hopelessness. Once again he felt like there was nothing that could be done. Without his knowledge his powers were used and a flickering of all electric devices was seen, from the lights up to the screen, and his eyes glowing.
"Hey, your eyes are glowing and you kinda end up causing some little errors with the electronics," Lance whispered with concern, making him jump up slightly and take a deep breath as concentrated on stopping his powers from causing even more havoc. But he was sure that his family realized that there was something going on. Another thing that they would want to have answers.
"Earth's offensive capabilities simply don't stand a chance against Galra." She continued and he wanted nothing more than end this all. But he knew that this would never work. His memories would stay and he would never be able to forget all the horror's that they had done to him. Richard knew better than anyone how the Galra's were, not all of them that was what he knew.
"Why don't we bring more people into this base?" The question that Hunk asked was something that he could answer and made him feel the same helplessness that he had felt when being captive by them. His lips turned into a thin line at the thought as slight tremors went through his body.
"We had to put a hold on our extraction ops as they were proven too risky." Once again it was the father of Pidge that said this and he knew why.
Richard was sure that his family was trying to get rescue the people that were in the Galra's hideouts. Or that was what he assumed but from the grim expression, he could tell that it was almost no way that they would manage to do this, not with how many civilians were left there. He knew how bad it was being in their captivity and even now he had been surprised that he escaped this hell hole.
"But there are good people out there and they could be protected. My family is out there." Hunk's desperate tone made him grit his teeth feeling even more helpless.
Because he knew how it was and knew that there was not always all to rescue. A thing that he learned in the early ages as a hero. But he also wanted to help, at least to atone for what he had done. Atone to the fact that he had been forced to do, helping out the Galra's. Even when he had been forced he still had helped those people.
"Hunk listen, there are way too many people and the resources are not enough. Even for us heroes it's not always working. Sometimes we cannot protect everyone, but I promise you that we will get your family. Even when I have to go alone out there." It was a promise that he would try to hold but because of him saying this all eyes were now on him.
His entire face slowly started to heat up and shrink down as not liking the attention that he was receiving right now. A hand was soon felt on his shoulder, leading him to flinch at first and then glance towards the direction to see that it was Lance who gave him a reassuring look.
"I'm sorry Hunk." Samuel sounded sorrowful and it was not making this all better. His teeth gritted out and he was not going to let this one go. There must be a way to get these people out of that hell hole.
"But if we have an opportunity-" Hunk tried to reason and he knew that this was not going to work. From what he knew they had not enough resources and he knew that Samuel was right but...
There must be something that they could do. His hands clenched together and brows furrowed as trying to think of something. Richard felt guilty and wished that he could help his brother figure and rescue his family.
"Hey, do Paladins not understand the chain of command? Your Ceo said it's too dangerous." An unknown male rudely interrupted Hunk.
It also sounded scolding and he was not liking how the other sounded as if the family members of Hunk don't matter. His eyes turned cold as his head turned over to the stranger's direction. He was tempted to punch this person for this comment. The glare was something that his father had whenever criminals were harming one of his family members. There were a few memories he held and the person shivered knowing exactly that he was a Paladin and knowing how to fight. Another fact was that he was someone who grew up with Bruce Wayne and for sure knows how to fend himself off.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you that it's rude to interrupt someone's talk? And I would shut up because I am not going to let you talk to someone I care of. His family is out there show a bit more sympathy you jerk." He gritted out with a cold tone. He probably also looked ready to attack this person.
A thing that caused people to look at him. The surprised stares of both his family and his second family made him shrink down and feel the heat slowly raise. Yet he stayed firm as this person was pissing him off.
"Officer Griffin, that's enough," Samuel said with authority and the next person made him shrink down knowing that his Dad will so want to talk about this.
"You too Richard." Ah, there it was. The disappointment father card. He huffed out and folded his arms together. Because the tone was enough for him.
"Fine." He grumbled as plopping himself down on the chair.
Hunk gave him a thankful look and he nodded. But he still was really pissed. He was fuming at what this person said and when this was over he was going to find a boxing bag and use it to let his frustration on that bag.
When looking at Wally the man looked both proud but also worried now. He knew why and he pressed his lips together. Because he knew that what he was under was too much stress and he could not handle it anymore.
"Believe me, I understand what you're going through, Hunk. We all have family out there, but we have to weigh our potions. We can't lose ten people to save 12. I'm sorry." At least Samuel sounded regretful and he let out a sigh knowing that the other was right.
Still, that other guy had still pissed him off and he was really not liking this person.
"Well, let's find out what we can do. You said you've integrated Altean tech with Earth weaponry?" Allura questioned and he was wondering that too now.
Gaze going over to his father and the look that was given to him made him know that once again that there will be a talk. A huff went out as he was not in the mood to talk about everything that went through. He almost wanted to hide and forever stay at his hiding place but knew he could not.
.
.
.
His eyes narrowed as feeling the tension. Whatever would be said by the other would not be something good. He felt as if it was not going that well. Richard just had a really bad feeling about this. So he folded his arms together.
"Blabla Sendak attack Earth because of the lions but let me tell you, they would have done that anyway at some point. I was after all with these bastards and they would have at some point done this. As they did with countless others." He shrugged as it was nothing new for him and also felt fed up with these people not realizing how much dangerous Sendak was.
"And you all don't know enough about his forces and I know because I was in their asshats hands." He growled out but he was not finished yet with his rant.
"I had seen what they can do, and I know that you can't bargain with Sendak. Met that guy and he isn't someone you can bargain with. I am not going to let Voltron get into the hands of a bastard like this. This is exactly why I can't trust you guys because you would bargain with someone like him!" His voice was ice cold as spatting this out.
It was pretty clear that he was upset as Sendak was not someone he wanted ever wanted to meet ever again. It made his mood dampening a lot. This was really horrible and he hated the reminder of this. It was horrible to know that these people were now doing exactly what they had done to so many other planets. His body tensed up at the thought of many innocent people dying and being harmed by them.
"I have to agree with Dick, there," Allura said and her expression was grim knowing exactly why he had said this.
"Sendak is not to be trusted and he will not hold his words." It was added by Allura after the first bit and he winced knowing what the other was capable of. After all, he heard the stories of Lotor, and knowing this was enough to make him feel sick.
"Not to mention you had not fought them, we did more than once. Trust us, they won't hold their words and it ends up with more people suffering because you decide to trust a person like him." Shiro said with a finality and it was decided that they would look at the memories this person had.
But he was not really in the mood. The thought alone of seeing these memories made his stomach rebel making him want to throw up. His Father dragged him off towards wherever they would go with his brothers and Wally following him. A thing that he really was not wanting to do as he knew that he would not be forced to explain and the thought alone made him dread and want nothing more than run away.
