Alright, he was done.

Utterly bloody done with the group whining. Heck, not even his child self was that whining and was patient but not the others. And he was the one who had not seen Earth now for almost four years. There was also the thing that he was grumpy and had mood swings.

It wasn't one of the reasons why everyone was that cautious around him, as there was just a small thing that could be said that could lead him to burst into tears, snap at others, or ignore that person. Usually, the last part tended to get resolved rather quickly as Wally seemed to know exactly what to do to get his mood better. Though being grumpy led to his thoughts being really grim. That bad that he had bad night terrors. Lucky for him, Wally seemed to make them vanish like a magician which gave him at last a semi-good rest.

His best friend seemed to feel his mood swings and knew how to act. It was like a skill and he wasn't going to lie but he felt impressed about this. But he had now enough after this went on for at least 4 almost now 5 weeks and he had enough.

There was no patience left and he cursed under his breath in Romani which were not so nice words. But other than that he was silent and he could feel more and more his frustration bubble up. Not just this but also getting impatient with them. Even when he loves these morons but it was enough now.

And then he had enough....

"Guys, be patient. I swear; when I hear one more complaint, I am asking Cosmo's to bring me to each and every one of you guys and bitch slap you." His voice was sweet, extremely sweet. Making it clear that he was right now really having none of their bs right now.

His stutter was by now also getting way better and the only time that it was there was when he was teased, showered by love, or when it was too much. Richard was pretty sure that he would be stuttery when meeting new people or when there would be a group of people that he had not seen in a very long time.

Thinking about this made him realize that he had some blips of memory pieces but they were small and irregular making him still not have many memories of his past sadly.

"Oh boy."

"Indeed Hunk. Oh boy, or also whelp we made the cinnamon roll angry and curse." Lance joked right after Hunk said this and he let out a groan.

The cinnamon roll thing started around a week after Mom left and everyone seemed to agree on this. There was also Hunk but most of the time it was him who they said that he was the real cinnamon roll. A thing that he was not seeing but even Wally agreed and so he just gave up denying it. There was just no way that he had the energy for this.

"You had to jinx it didn't you Lance." His voice was higher and exasperated. The moron had to say that there would be no way that something bad would happen. And now they were out here in space, with no food and no water. Their ships were god knows where after their power left suddenly.

All of the Paladins were in a circle and holding onto each other. Lance and Keith were right next to him on each side as this was something that the two agreed about. A miracle after all the two usually never seemed to agree on something or almost.

The does trust Keith, Lance, and Shiro the most but Shiro would have been better for him as he was the father figure. But it also had to be this way as at that time they had to act quickly or they all would have been alone in space floating. The imagination alone made him shiver.

But this wasn't the worst of all, there were hallucinations of weird animals and this made him know that they all were doomed.

"Okay, what exactly do you mean by this?" The person who jinxed it sounded as exhausted as he was but then again he was most of the time feeling like this.

"First of all, we ended up losing our lions and I make a bet with you on that; there will be an attack. Something will do that and that just because of yo-your bi-big mouth saying that any moment something will try and kill us." He ranted and his voice held anxiousness and fear. All he wanted at this moment was curling himself into Wally with the other saying reassuring words.

Richard hated this and wasn't wanting to get hurted or the one he cares of. This sucked a lot and he was feeling the brink of crying.

Oh.... he is crying.

Now that he realized that he was indeed crying, more tears rolled down. There was nothing that could stop them right now. This was why everyone was cautious and the expression of realization of Lance made him know that he was feeling guilty now that he said this.

"I- Hey star, how about you try and take deep breaths as trying to calm down?" The words were said soothingly by Lancy but it wasn't working at all. It was the fact that they were floating in space without any way of rescuing that was scaring him a lot. So, even more,  tears rolled down with hiccups adding to this.

This seemed to start making others freak out as not know how to calm him down. Usually at times like these Wally would have been able to do that but he was not there and that alone made him feel worse now.

But they were lucky as Keith was the only one calm at this moment. He felt himself being pulled a bit closer and making him instantly lean into the touch. Another thing that changed too, as he was by now more used to contact. Even sudden contact like this. Slowly his breath evened, the tears dried and his body was calmer.

But this really was feeling weird. This floaty feeling was something that he was not used to and probably will never be used to.

Nothing was said and he was glad about this as he was not in the mood for chatter.

That was until a fight broke up between everyone. The fight was something that he despised and he hated this. The feeling of being ignored was making his lips tremble and he was trying his best not to feel hurted. But it was futile with how his mental state was. It was not helping this situation that they were out here in space with no one able to help them.

"Um...Ar-Aren't we a-a team...?" He timidly asked but with how soft his voice was, it was not heard by anyone. Not with how they were talking over each other. But it seemed that one person had heard him, the other cinnamon roll. It made him give a thankful look over to the other.

"Guys, how about we listen to our cinnamon roll? We did ignore him again after all." Hunk was pointed out and this was making everyone wince as it was obvious why. They knew how hurted things like that made him.

"We-we a-are a team or-or I fe-feel like for me, you-your like a family...ca-can we not fight..." The stutter got worse now as he was upset and it was upsetting seeing the others argue. It was a thing that was not something that he would ever like.

The attention was now on him and they all opened their mouth but closed it. They were surely thinking what to say and soon they apologized, but his mood stayed down.

"Dickie is right. We are a big family and we should not fight or at least not in front of our small brother okay?" The tone was soothing and with a slight apologetic smile. A surprise to him even now whenever they apologized.

Another surprise was that he sees him as a smaller brother even when he was the older one.

"I agree with Keith on this one. I also have an announcement to make." Next was Lance but he wasn't finished yet with a grin but also there was a slight hue of pink. This was confusing but soon he realized why there was a pink hue on the other's cheeks.

"Okay, so I want to apologize to you, Keith. I may have started to feel something more than just friends to you and I had been a big jerk to you. You probably don't feel the same way as I do, but I might as well say it as we do not know that we will survive this and don't want to regret anything." The grin had left as soon as he started to talk and a serious expression was now there. It was unexpected to see Lancy serious and it showed that he was really meaning this.

In the end, there was a smile. A smile that reminded him of Wally, with how adorning and genuinely apologetic he looked.

His gaze went over to Keithy now and the reaction made sense. The male stared with big unbelievable eyes towards Lancy and it made sense. The male had flirted with way too many people but not really with Keith.

He let out a heavy exasperated sigh at the reaction. It was clear that Keithy loved the other back. The reason was because Keithy had nagged about Lancy every time they talked through the coms about Lancy.

"I-" Of course, the other was not sure what to say and it was adorable how the cheeks started to flush more. Then there was Pidge who looked exasperated and had a deadpan expression at how Keithy acted.

"Oh come on, Keith just embrace your gayness and just tell him." The tone of the girl matched the expression and he giggled at this. But there was nothing that they could say as suddenly there was a light source.

When they went closer it looked like Earth, but something just felt not right. There was this nagging feeling in his mind that this was not real. His gaze went over to Hunk and he could see that the other was as sus about this.

They had been right as it had been a monster who was luring them in. This monster had been massive and it scared the living hell out of him. That was how he ended up getting out of his child mindset. Lucky for them they managed to form Voltron. Another thing was that a sudden weird wormhole appeared and this time they managed to get through it.

"Ugh, what happened?" Wally mumbled and with this, he knew that everything was back to how it had once been before. This made him feel relieved as hugging the male tightly, with tremors in his body out of relief. That much that he felt the tears roll down his cheeks as he sobbed into the chest of Wally.

Finally, his boyfriend was here and finally, he was back and seeing the other. It was obviously startling the other and hugging him tightly back. There were also soothing words whispered into his ears. It was because of him breaking down that he had not realized that there had been a stiffening. That was until he calmed down more.

"Hold on for a sec? Why are you so damn thin and feel that light Richard?" The tone was alarmed and he swallowed but still answered the questions in a short version of what had happened.

The male pulled him closer and he snuggled into the touch feeling the tension now leave. Then Pidge said something that made his heart thunder, excitement bubble up but also anxiousness...

As there were constellations that she knows and this meant they were finally near Earth and soon they would be home.
