🌸Midnight Madness🌸

It was hard to prove to Emiko that my sister was clearly a hero when it was Kita who won the game of flag tag for our team. Nearly every game we played, that girl seemed to do better than Tami. It was hard for me to prove to Emiko how awesome my sister was because of it. I mean, Tami's Quirk allowed her to change into other people. During flag tag, she used it to trick people into thinking she was Kaito Oba, which was a really good strategy. No one seemed to talk about that as much as they talked about Kita taking the final flag.

By the time it reached eight o'clock, I was done with it. Everyone went to the common area in 1-A to watch a movie, but I begged Tami to do something else. The downside was that there was nothing to really do, so she ended up walking me over to where Raiden's room was.

"Are you sure we can't do anything else?" I asked.

Tami nodded. "Don't worry though. I'm sure you and Raiden will get along. First thing in the morning, I'll come over to make sure we don't miss any fun activities," she explained as she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

She made it sound like everything was going to be okay, but it wasn't. Raiden was scary! I wouldn't want to go there so soon, but I was tired in trying to figure ways to show Emiko that Tami was a hero. Tami was the best hero.

"You don't seem so excited," Tami noticed. "Didn't I tell you who his older sister is?"

I shook my head at Tami. That was one thing she didn't tell me. Apparently, she thought she did because she gave a small smile, shaking her head in embarrassment.

"That explains a lot. Well, his sister just so happens to be Power Girl," my sister told me as we came to a stop.

My eyes widened as she said that. I didn't say anything, but that was because I was shocked she didn't tell me sooner. How could my sister keep that kind of stuff a secret from me? Power Girl was one of the best Pro Heroes in the world! She should've ranked in the top ten on Japan's Hero Billboard Chart, but she ranked 93. If she had opened up her own Hero Agency, I was certain she'd rank much higher, but every time she was asked, she explained that she just liked being with her family. If she were to open up her own agency, she might have to go somewhere else in Japan.

What made Power Girl so much cooler was the fact that she was one of the heroes that saved my sister and me that one night these villains tried stealing everyone's Quirks. She never really talked to me. Mr. Elastic did most of that, but I did notice her...

Holy cow! How did I not see it before! That night, she talked to Raiden, Tami's scary friend, and took him away. Here, I thought it was because they had similar Quirks or something, and she was going to ask him if he wanted her to mentor him, or maybe she knew where he lived, but I never thought those two were siblings! That had to be so cool! I bet Raiden knew all sorts of cool hero moves because of her, and he probably knew all these awesome stories of her fighting all these bad guys!

Tami chuckled as she looked at me. "Well, we're here," she said.

My sister was about ready to knock on the door, but I was quicker. I didn't care if it was rude, or what the guy was doing, I grabbed the doorknob on the door and pushed it open.

"Ollie!" Tami shouted.

But it was too late. I ran into the room, finding Raiden sitting on his bed as he was reading a book with one hand, while the other one lazily lifted up a small weight. Nothing seemed wrong that would make my sister squeal like that as he was wearing a plain black shirt with gray sweats.

Though, the look he gave me when he put the textbook and weight down on his bed was enough for me to freeze.

"I'm sorry!" Tami squeaked. "I was about ready to knock on the door, but my brother just decided to barge on through. If we were interrupting anything, we could—"

Raiden shook his head. "It's fine," he claimed before looking back at me. "You know it's rude to go barging into people's rooms, right?"

"Sorry, but I had to know if your sister was really Power Girl or not," I told him. "She's one of my favorite heroes, and her Quirk is so simple, but it's amazing how she uses it to outsmart so many villains!"

The guy blinked for a moment before looking past me, probably right at my sister, then back at me.

"Just go get ready for bed or something," he told me before looking up at Tami once again. "I'll see you in the morning."

I looked back at my sister, who nodded her head before looking down at me. "Be good, okay?"

I threw my head back. "I'm not a toddler, Tami!"

She laughed and gave me a hug anyways. I gave her one back, quietly missing her hugs. My sister didn't give hugs often, but when she did, they were always the best ones. Then again, I was probably the only person in our family that really enjoyed hugs, so whenever she or our parents would give them, I always enjoyed them.

It wasn't long that she left me alone with Raiden, who showed me where the nearest bathrooms were to get ready for bed. I'd ask him question after question about his sister. While Raiden would answer them, he was very short with his answers, showing his scary side once again. At least, he couldn't have been that scary if his sister was one of the coolest heroes of all Japan. I wasn't going to say any of that out loud though because I could have been wrong, and if I was, he could easily snap me in half.

After all, I learned fairly quickly that he shared the same Quirk as Power Girl. Since he shared the same Quirk, that meant it wouldn't take much for him to tear my head off without even trying. That was enough for me to not say anything about it.

I tucked myself into the sleeping bag I had brought, holding my teddy bear close to my chest. It didn't take long for Raiden to fall fast asleep, which was weird. He had his back towards me as he faced the wall, and his breaths were completely silent. I frowned as I was looking forward to asking him some more questions, but he clearly didn't want to answer them.

Maybe tomorrow morning when Tami came over, we could invite him to come and join all the other siblings. True, I wanted to spend time with my sister, but I also wanted to learn more about Power Girl and this guy. I mean, he wanted to be a Pro Hero just like she was, so he had to have some exciting stories he could tell me about too.

I just couldn't wait.

...I couldn't wait for time to pass by that I couldn't couldn't sleep a wink. I turned around to look at the alarm clock sitting next to Raiden's bed, seeing that it was past midnight. While I hated waking up early in the morning, I couldn't wait for eight o'clock to roll on by, so I could ask Raiden some more questions and hang out with my sister some more before my parents came back to pick me up.

My sister always told me to just close my eyes when I couldn't sleep. It didn't usually work, but I was running out of options at that point. I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping it'd magically become morning again.

Instead of morning coming in an instant, the door creaked open. I froze when I heard it.

"You sure this is going to work?" a voice sneered. "This better be the last one too because I can feel my Quirk is about to max out."

It took everything in me not to open my eyes up just yet as I heard two pairs of footsteps creeping into the room. I tightened my grasp around my teddybear, hoping that they somehow wouldn't see me, or that this was all some sort of realish nightmare.

Especially when I had recognized the second voice.

"Oh yes!" the high pitch voice squealed. "No wooies, we are amost done! Dese wittle hero babies just need to know what dey are doin is vewy vewy naughty. If we take 'em, there'll be less heroes in da future."

The woman laughed, and when she did, I couldn't hide anymore. My eyes shot open as I turned my head, seeing two figures standing right beside Raiden's bed. Even though the only light I could see was peaking its way through the window, I could see a head of pink hair leaning over Raiden.

It was the same villain that kidnapped me a few months ago!

She straightened up as she looked at the other villain. As she did, I slowly crept out of my sleeping bag, being as quiet as I could, so she wouldn't catch me again. The last time I had encountered her, she said I couldn't get a kiss quite yet, but that was because they wanted my sister. If she came in here, and kissed Raiden, and who knows how many other students, then it was a matter of time they did the same thing to me.

"Dere we go!" she said. "Baby should be asleep for a while."

I was about ready to step out of the door when there was a loud creaking noise as I stepped out of the way. The pink haired villain and the other one snapped their heads at me.

My heart stopped when I saw her pink eyes glowing in the darkness.

"Wookie who we got here!" the woman squealed. "Wong time no see, wittle baby."

Last time, I froze. Last time, I relied on Kaito to get me out of the situation. Last time, I let her kidnap me.

This time, I ran.

"Help!" I screamed on the top of my lungs as I ran through the halls of the dorms. "Help! Help!"

All of my yelling was probably pointless as everyone was either asleep or knocked out. Regardless, I needed to try. Someone had to have heard me screaming. They had to!

There were villains inside of U.A. I thought this place was going to keep my sister safe! Why were there villains here?

I was about ready to make it through a door, on the other side of the hallway when I ended up tripping on my own two feet. My face slammed into the ground, and tears escaped my eyes as soon as I felt the burning sensation scraping on my nose.

To think I was so close to the door.

"Tami," I whispered. "I-I've got to warn Tami."

While the tears were escaping my eyes, I could hear laughter coming from behind. I rolled onto my back, getting a better look at the trio of villains.

Trio.

My heart stopped when I realized that. The one I knew. Her pink hair and laughter alone were enough to cause my whole body to freeze in terror. Beside her was the man that was in Raiden's room earlier. He kind of reminded me of Santa Clause in a way as he was pretty stubby and carried a gigantic sac with him. Unlike the other two people who were with him, he didn't have any hair or really any features that made him stand out. As for the other guy, he seemed kind of young to be a villain. He looked old enough to be a student at U.A., but his hair was already gray.

"Awe, somebody wooks a wittle tired," the pink haired villain cooed as she walked closer to me rubbing her hands together. "Guess it's time for your wittle nappy poo, Ollie baby."

I couldn't move as she said that. No one called me that. I-I didn't even think she knew my name.

She used that to her advantage as she knelt above me and locked her hands on either side of me. Her long pink hair fell around her, tickling the sides of my face. I sucked in my lips, hoping she wouldn't lean in any closer.

The woman just laughed at my actions.

"Awe, you think that wittle twick is gonna work?" she questioned. "It's as if your wittle brain doesn't get it. Den again, your wittle sista tought de same ting."

Her one hand moved and gently ran through my hair. My eyes squeezed shut, knowing what she was about ready to do.

Whatever I did, I couldn't let her kiss my lips.

"Nightshade, look out!"

The hand that ran through my hair loosened as I felt her body being flung off of me. Realizing this, I grabbed my mouth with my hands, hoping that'd be enough to get her from trying to kiss me again.

"Just who do you think you are, breaking into U.A?" a familiar voice demanded.

I peeled my eyes open, seeing a familiar girl from 1-A towering above me. Her curly pink hair was hanging all over the place, but her two golden horns still stuck out on the sides of her head. She was no longer wearing athletic clothing or her U.A. uniform, but she was wearing a pair of pink shorts and a white tank top.

The girl didn't even look at me as she stood there, ready to fight any of the villains.

"Let's just go," one of the villains declared. I sat up, seeing the gray-haired one, kneeling beside the pink-haired villain I remembered. Nightshade, they called her. She was knocked out with a single blow from Kita.

"Oh no you don't," Kita said as she ran around me and started running towards them.

I started to crawl away, hoping I could get away, but I froze when I saw the guy gray-haired guy shoot his hands forward. The moment Kita jumped in the air, preparing for a downward kick, a huge metal wall curved up around him and the pink haired woman. Kita's bare foot didn't even make a dent in it.

Kita quickly recovered from it all as she used it as a springboard, leaping back, and landing back on the ground. The moment she was away, the metal wall disappeared.

"Sorry about that," the gray-haired guy apologized. "But, I don't think your Quirk is fit to help out over here. Maybe it's best if you just run along to your teachers and give them a small warning; although, it might be a bit late for that."

I was about ready to open my mouth and ask what he was talking about when a hand wrapped around my mouth and nose. Another one grabbed my shoulder. Both Nightshade and the gray-haired guy were sitting right in front of me. Looking at them, I had totally forgotten about the plump guy that was with them.

"Let's make a deal, shall we," a chilling voice from behind me suggested. Kita turned around. Her golden eyes widened as she saw me. "You let us leave quietly, and I won't shrink this little guy into the size of a baseball. Don't worry, you can still play hero if you want as there are dozens of other wanted criminals scattered around this place. Go kick them around to your little heart's content if you want, but you do one thing—"

This guy was talking forever that I realized he wasn't really paying attention to me. Kita even seemed to have noticed this as she took her eyes off of the guy behind me and looked me in the eye. I wasn't sure if she was trying to tell me something, or if she was genuinely worried about me. Either way, I knew she wasn't going to do anything unless I was safe. I could only tell because her muscles were tense, but not in the same way she'd prepare to run or anything. Just the way she looked at me, I knew she was conflicted.

Kita was a Pro Hero student, and she was going to give up because of me. I couldn't let that happen. She needed to fight. The moment she stopped fighting, then more people that were going to be hurt.

There had to be a way out of his grasp. While I didn't want to really do it, I gathered as much saliva as I could in my mouth and stuck my tongue out. For a moment, he did nothing, so I moved it back and forth.

His hand went flying off of me, and I sprinted away from him and right behind Kita, grabbing onto her as tightly as I could.

"Why you little son of a—"

"Language, Shrink!" the younger villain yelled. "Keep it PG for the little guy over there, okay?"

I snapped my head to look at him, noticing the gray haired guy standing up. Like the other two villains, he wore a dark black jumpsuit that covered him from the neck to the toe.

The gray-haired villain looked at Kita, not smiling like Nii did. Instead, he looked kind of bored as he looked at her from head to toe.

"Huh," he let out. "Shrink, grab Nightshade and the bag. I'll take care of the sheep."

I looked back at Kita as her face started to grow red. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the only color she saw at that moment as she locked her eyes onto the gray-haired villain.

"I'm not a sheep; I'm a ram!" she shouted as she bowed her head and sprinted towards him.

While I wanted to watch to see what happened, I noticed something move. I turned my head to find the plump villain sneaking from behind. He didn't even care to help his teammate, who stepped away from Kita, causing her to run in head first into a wall. Parts of the wall broke apart at the impact, covering the floor with different size pieces that once belonged to the wall. By the time she took a step back, there was a small hole where her head used to be.

A part of me knew I should have warned her about what was coming next, but I got distracted as the fat villain pushed past his teammate and grabbed the sack for himself. His next move should have been to grab the pink-haired villain I knew, but he didn't. The villain didn't even give her a second look. Instead he just started heading out the door, leaving his two teammates behind.

My eyes widened when I saw this. He was getting away with something! Whatever was in that bag, it had to have been something important. The other guy was just distracting Kita. Either that, or he wanted the bag all to himself.

He wasn't the pink haired villain who kidnapped me before, but could he have kidnapped other people if he left? I didn't want other people getting hurt.

What if he went after my sister next?

I wiped away the tears from my face as I started running towards him. He was heading in the same direction to where Tami's dorm was at. Yes, her room wasn't in this building, but if he had gone out that front door, he could have easily taken off to where she was at.

"Oliver, look out!" Kita screamed.

I turned around to see a metal ring being shot from the silver guy's hand. My eyes widened as I quickly ducked, feeling the ring of metal flying above me. There was a quick snap and a moan. It was then that I knew I was safe, so I stood up.

Behind me, the fat villain had his arms stuck to his side as a thick band of metal wrapped his arms together. The bag fell to the side, and opened. Something rolled out of it, but it didn't look like money or weapons of any kind. What fell out of the bag looked a bit like sticks, except, there were four parts that came off of them, and would move as they turned around.

My eyes widened as the one stick was a bit darker than the other one, but looked very familiar.

"Kita! They shrunk people!" I shouted.

The villain who was wrapped up in the metal ring tried to get up, but he struggled as he ended up falling on his back.

Why did they have people? Why did they have U.A. students shrunk and—

I gasped as I pieced it all together. Nightshade kissed Raiden. I didn't see him in his bed afterwards. That meant that the fat man, Shrink, had to have shrunk them down to a small size and placed them all in that bag!

"Why are you kidnapping students?" I heard Kita ask.

I turned around, seeing her take a protective stance in front of me. I couldn't see the silver-haired guy because of it, so I walked up from behind her and poked my head from behind. The silver haired guy looked a bit paler than he did moments ago, but he didn't falter. His arm wrapped under the pink haired one, propping her up, so she could stand. She was starting to wake up, and seeing that, I grabbed Kita's leg, hiding behind her as much as possible.

My body shivered as she kept her pink eyes focused on me.

"That's really none of your concern, ram," he spat. "Besides, you should be worrying about other things."

He didn't even turn around as he flung shards of metal towards the nearest door. I watched as they wrapped around the door handle, causing them to lock. The villain repeated this on every door that was around us, except for the front door. My hands tightened around Kita as I pushed myself behind her. I could feel my face getting wet from the tears I swore stopped moments ago.

A hand touched my shoulder, shielding me away from the villains even more. Once again, I looked up to see the only person it could have been. She still didn't look me in the eye as she was concentrating on the villains in front of us. Despite that, I could tell she was doing everything she could to protect me and to fight those villains.

Emiko was right. Kita was a hero.

"Those are my classmates," Kita explained. "So it is my concern. What do you villains want?"

The silver haired guy pressed his free hand over his chest and feigned a hurt look. "Villains," he said mockingly. "Is that how you see us? We're just trying to lessen this world of bad heroes. At least, that's why I decided to help."

"Stawp stawin," the pink haired villain complained as she grabbed the side of her head. "We needa get dat wittle baby for my wevenge!"

My muscles tensed when she said that. True, she could have been talking about anyone, but somehow, I knew who she wanted revenge on. That meant she either wanted to take me or my sister.

"Kita," I whimpered, "make them stop."

Those words barely made it above a whisper, so there was no way Kita could have heard them. Maybe she did, but she chose to ignore them. Instead she pressed her hand further into my shoulder.

"Oliver," she said, "I need you to get that bag and run. I'll distract these two. Can you do that for me?"

Before I could answer, there was a soft chuckle from the silver haired villain. I looked at him and the pink-haired one. She was no longer using him for support. If I didn't move now, she would come after me.

If the other villain didn't do that first.

The silver-haired villain threw his arm out in front of him, making me realize where the metal rings were coming out from: his fingertips! I needed to tell Kita about that, so she'd know, but the ram shoved me away as she ran around, jumping on a wall before using her legs to land a powerful kick on one of the villains.

Part of me wanted to watch because I knew she'd take down these villains, but at the same time, Kita wanted me to be safe. Not just me. There were more people in trouble. If Kita was going to risk her life fighting these villains, then I needed to help out. At least, if I did, she could take down these villains, and the others would be safe.

Realizing that, I turned away from her and ran towards the gigantic sac. There were a few people who rolled out of it. One of them being Raiden, so I carefully scooped them up in my hands and placed them inside. My stomach turned as I did, realizing that was what the villains did, but I didn't have any pockets in my shorts or the t-shirt that I wore. If I carried them, they might wake up, and I wasn't sure they'd want to wake up in a small state.

Plus, I didn't want to drop them either.

Once they were all together, I looked back at Kita, seeing her fighting hand to hand combat with the metal guy. His face was deathly pale at this point. Sweat was pouring from his forehead as he swung a crowbar at her. Kita would dodge every attack, landing a few kicks and punches on him in return.

While this happened, the pink haired villain watched, cheering on her teammate. None of them noticed me. That meant I could escape.

Hopefully, I wouldn't be too late.
