Beep. BEep. BEEP!

I turned my alarm off. It was Monday. Oh how I dreaded Monday's.  I forced my self to get up and get dressed I slid on my outfit and stilt and headed down for breakfast. We had pancakes and orange slices.

"How was your night at Oliver's" Nathan asked. "Good I forgot about my binder tho so I'm a little in pain but I'm still wearing it today. I left it off all weekend so I should be good." I replied rubbing my breast area where it had dug into me. "Alright just try to be more remembering." He replied grabbing his keys. We both slid our plates aside and headed for my prison. Also known as school.

'Did you head about the new kids? I heard ones really cute and the other one is kinda like nerdy or something' , 'I heard both are cute. But it's a girl and boy'. The rumors went on through out the day. I did wonder who "they" were tho.

Third period rolled around and I took my seat in the back. It was a 2 people desk but I didn't have anyone next to me. A tall kid (with a great body) walked in.

"Is this Mrs.Orinns class?" He asked the teacher writing on the board. Without a glance she responded. "Yes, your seat is in the back Mr.Brown. Your neighbor will be max. Please Acquaintance yourself. You will be partners. I got wide eyed. He was gorgeously hot. Like football jockey hot. He walked over to the desk.

"Hi, I'm Dakota. Nice to meet you." He said sitting down "Max, nice to meet you too." I said softly returning to my notebook. I had started drawling early in the class. I'm not one for actually paying attention I can pass all these classes easily. They ain't hard I pay attention the first 5 minutes of the lessons before I figure it out. Just because I never went to actual school doesn't mean I'm dumb.

"Now class, before I dismiss y'all for the rest of the class. I need to announce that we will be starting a project. Each one of you have to make a model of a war.  And I don't mean go home and steal your younger siblings figurines and glue them to a board. I wanna see the land and trees and how it was faught. I want to see it in my head. You have 2 weeks and it has to be done on a poster board or make a video.

The end of the day rolled around and Dakota found me as I was heading out. "Hey do you want to start on the project now or? I mean we can't wait forever but we could meet up or something?" " I'm about to head home I could ask if u could come over? I mean my house isn't really special but it's got plenty of room? We can grab a board on our way home." I shyly suggested.

"Yea sure let me just tell my folks and then I'll be heading your way." He said running off to a car with 2 adults in it and a little girl no older than 3 in the back. They exchanged a few words and nods of their heads. I went to my brother and told him what was happening. He graciously agreed.

"Okay I'm ready." He said as we met back up on the side walk. "Which car is yours?" He asked looking amongst the cars still in the parking lot. I pointed to it and his jaw dropped.
