I came in the next day tired, I woke up feeling like I had been beaten to a pulp. Nathan still drove me in tho and told me i had to try to make it through the day. I came into the lunchroom and went through the breakfast line and grabbed a juice. It was an apple which I was okay with and walked over to Dani and Oliver. I agreed to sit with them at breakfast and lunch since they were the only people who were really ever there for me anymore.

"So did you hear the good news?" Oliver randomly says stealing a sip of my juice. I gave him a 'What the fuck man' face and ripped my juice back. "What happened?" I asked, sipping my juice.

"Axel and Shawn are gone for the rest of the year because of what they did. They might not even be allowed back next year. They were banned from the property last I heard." he said, grinning so big. I couldn't help but smile at that. They had put me through so much in the little time I had been there. I felt a hand on my back and jumped. I looked up and there stood dakota.

I smiled up at him, greeting him, motioning my hand for him to sit. He sat down and turned to me.

"So i bought the board last night. My mom said it was cool for me to come over as long as your parents said it's okay.'' I flinched when he said parents but played it off as if I didn't flinch. "Yea its cool, my brother doesn't care i'll text him today letting him know you're coming home with us." I started just as the bell rang.

It was finally the end of the day. I had already let Nathan know and he was cool with it since he knew it was for school; plus he liked that I was making friends so easily.

Nahtan pulled up outside and me and Dakota walked out to the car. I got in the seat and buckled up as Dakota got in and put his seat belt on as well. Nathan got directions from him to his house so we could grab the board and let Dakota's parents meet Nathan. I didn't understand why they wanted to but I guess it was a security thing. I never had caring parents so it made no sense to me but Nathan understood somehow.

Pulling up his house actually was pretty decently sized; it was nothing like nathans but it was a pretty home. We got out and walked to the door. Dakota opened it letting us in. It was pretty from what I could see. There was a big kitchen and living room dou with a half wall and a hallway on the side. It seemed like the typical house.

I felt something wrap around my waist and jumped. I looked down to see a little girl wrapped around me giving me a hug. I hugged her back and looked at dakota.

"That's my little sister. She loves giving hugs to people, don't mind her, she gets excited when she meets new people." he said, pulling her off me and picking her up.

"Hi, I'm Camiliea, (ka-meal-ee-ah) but everyone calls me cam for short!" she states with a lot of excitement. She squirmed out of Dakota's arms and ran to the kitchen. A few seconds later she returns with their mom and dad.

"Hey sweetheart, how was school?" His mother replies with a smile and hugs him. His dad went up to Nathan greeting him and then me while Dakota spoke to his mom. They both turned their attention to nathan.

"Hello, I'm Nathan, I'm Max's guardian. I came to let Dakota pick up the board they need for their project and to let you all meet me before I take your kid to my house for max. I figured it's the least I could do so you didnt think your kid was taken by random strangers." he said with a chuckle. They continued talking so me and Dakota went and sat on the couch.

Camiliea had started a kitten puzzle. She seemed very focused on it. I couldn't shake the odd feeling I had when looking at her. She reminded me of my little sister when she was alive. I thought just maybe that would be what she would look like if she was still alive. I missed her alot.

We talked and joked for another hour until Nathan was ready to leave. Dakota grabbed the board and we headed out back to our house. We jammed to my CD all the way their. Dakota was very intrigued in my taste of music but it really suited my style.

Pulling up he had the same expression as I did my first time seeing it; pure shock and amazement.

"You live here?" he said, his mouth wide open. I nodded and opened my door as we parked. I decided to let him take the poster in and give him a tour. I showed him the more basic rooms first, like the bathroom, kitchen, living room, and my room. And then gave him a quick tour of the rest of the house.

We went to my room and I went to my closet and started grabbing some things we could use. I grabbed the baggy me and Nathan had put together. We went out and bought some fake grass, little things to build trees and bushes with and some other little things here and there. We layed out the board and started laying things out. As we planned things out we sketched in pencil light details of where things would be. I cut the grass up and started placing it on the board. I put holes in it and added sand and trees in different areas.

It was near 8PM and we were almost finished with the main details. We had grass and sand. I used the hot glue gun and gorilla glue to place things down. I had used sandwich bags sealed up with a flat iron to make the sand and placed it down. As we were finishing the trees Nathan came in to check on us and to tell us that it was almost time for Dakota to go home.

As we gathered things up I told him we could leave it in the corner of my room and work on it another day when he came over again. We still had 2 weeks before it was due so I wasn't too worried about our progress.

I said goodbye to Dakota and decided to exchange numbers. I decided to stay home and go take a shower and get ready for bed. I really enjoyed his company and was really glad we were friends. After my shower I checked my phone and saw he had texted me.

'Thanks for letting me come over, I really enjoyed listening to music and working on the project with you. Maybe we can hang out sometime, even if we don't have a project. I really enjoyed your company and my family seems to like Nathan and you. My sister also wants to see you again; she enjoys when people actually talk to her. Anyways, i hope you have a goodnight'

I replied back telling him he was very welcome and I would enjoy hanging out again. I said goodnight and laid my phone on my stand with it plugged in. Soon enough I was drifting off to sleep.

hey guys, so i don't typically like doing a lot of author notes but i apologize for not updating in 5 days its been a CRAZY last few days. and it's been really hectic for me. i just wrote this and it's almost 8 AM so i haven't slept; so i apologize in advance. I promise the story will pick up soon.
